4.5⭐️ for this Novella. Such a cute story!! I wish it was longer!!! (That’s my issue with Novellas…they suck me in and rush through the story, just to end way too soon). BUT despite my personal issue, this one was done really well. Definitely a fast burn romance, an angsty boss trope, with lots of chemistry. Little spice…just kissing. But it’s just such a sweet little holiday romance read. Excited to read more from this author!

The sweetest book!!

This book is short but oh so beautifully sweet. The perfect kind of book to crawl up with on a rainy afternoon. It's a quick read but this writer knows what she is doing. The book is written with depth, intelligence and purpose. It's not easy to capture such a beautiful and engaging story with limited pages but she does it with power.
I loved this book. It made me feel good, it was just warm and fuzzy.

Highly recommend checking it out for something easy to consume and feel good.

What a sweet and cute novella. This was a quick one hour read and I absolutely adored it. Abby is looking forward to the holidays with her family but her boss who is a workaholic has other plans. They take a work trip the day before Christmas Eve and they end up in her home town and in her parents’ home sharing a room. This trip causes Abby to realize she is falling for her boss. A really lovely story. I couldn’t believe it was over!

Wompppp…mostly a miss for me on this one. I felt it had a really good premise! But…it fell short because the book was so…short. It seemed as if the author tried to squeeze in a multitude of tropes in such a short time span that none of them seemed too credible.

The main plot of the book is super trendy in holiday romance books - and this year I dove head first and haven’t stopped in the Christmas-trend. 😂 my review may be skewed for that fact alone.

There wasn’t a ton of character building and even less plot. I definitely forgot the main character’s names throughout the book and questioned whether the side characters were created via Ai. That said, the few words the MMC spoke were peak *boss* behavior and got the heart racing…until you turned the page. 🙈
