Clash of Worlds

Rate this book
How do Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus and others think? Is the West making crucial errors? What can Christians do? If customs, language, clothing and food are like the leaves of a tree, then the underlying worldview is like the trunk and branches. Until we grasp our own worldview, then we cannot hope to understand other people's. In this text, Dr Burnett asks fundamental questions of each worldview.

Helped to see how all people search to make meaning and how culture influences. I realized that I do not understand the underlying assumptions well enough.

Truth is truth. But Satan is a confuser anda deceiver.

A very good overview of world religions and worldviews. Not a whole bunch beyond that. But good for the first purpose. I wish it didn't have such a cheesy cover.
