It was an absolute delight to find this book at a used book sale, and that delight was only surpassed during the reading of! I have been a fan of Trisha's work for a long time, and so have many others as evidenced by the fact that I get priced out of purchasing her works often. But I learned so much about her story through this book. I learned that she's a real person, and that this is her real name - not a pseudonym! Yes, I thought that the material she painted and the name in the corner was just too perfectly matched to be genuine.

What a wonderful talent to capture warmth in light, the beauty of local architecture, create inviting spaces that draw the viewer in, and touch the sentimental heart of another Canadian parent. Thanks for capturing these exquisite moments in life with such aplomb. I hope to find more of these books that further explore her portfolio.

I really like Trisha Romance paintings, a calm small town family feel. This book was the perfect complement to hearing the inspiration behind the paintings. Lots of colour plates.
