This Fae-blooded omega and her clan on the run from the Empire have now reached safe haven.
We made it. We crossed the border and are now safe.
Now our main concern is putting some distance between us and the border, and finding a home for our growing family.
Needless to say that my heat was a success and the project "bring back the Fae" is underway… starting with a couple of tiny Fae who will be born some months down the line.
But at least we are now in safety and we can live and work in peace to build our dream of a home and family.
Or so we think.
The Empire, though, has other plans. Plans to invade the south and finish off any Fae blood that has survived.
My mates can't sit on their hands while the south fights. The war is coming to us and to protect me and our clan, they will put their lives on the line.
Will they make it back to me alive? Will we find our happy ending?

I was reading this mainly for the vibes and the ABO. There is a lack of character development. It also seemed to keep building towards something but with no real direction. I was just kinda enjoying the ride of this series until the 65%ish mark of this book. Then I spent the rest of the book hate reading. And eventually just DNFed at 90%. I have abandonment issues.. so maybe this wouldn’t trigger most people. But I was TRIGGERED. And when they said grovel I was like “yay” !! But that did not last more than chapter and half the time the guys still had no clue what they even did wrong… whole series ruined. I relatively enjoyed this authors other ABO works, this one just did not hit well with me.
I think that what really bothers me about this series is that there's really no plot. Ari finding her harem, going into heat, and having babies isn't a plot. If the author thinks that making them run to the south for survival or going to war is a plot, then I'm going to have to disagree. What I'm trying to say is that this series is like someone telling you a story. There's nothing wrong with the story, per say, but there's not much to the story either. I didn't like Ari. Through the whole series she's basically whining and feeling sorry for herself. She was always having to be carried or coddled. She rarely showed any strength physically or emotionally. While I guess there's nothing wrong with that, it isn't my cup of tea. I like a girl with some grit. She can have meltdowns, but weakness shouldn't be her main character trait. Ariah was weak and just not interesting in my opinion.
It’s fine. I just was hoping for more? I guess, without spoiling too much, the whole point was that they didn’t have to do anything because they don’t owe anyone after all the trouble they went through. I think anyways. But that doesn’t feel like enough? In fact I was expecting a whole showdown. Instead she just gets pregnant and that’s it. The series kinda sets itself up for conflict, drama etc and we don’t get much of that. The book ended too peacefully for the plot it was giving us. And I love HEA so that’s saying something. The series also builds up tension between the MMCs and then… nothing. Maybe one proper make out session, one smut scene. The few other things that happen is because Ariadne wants to see it rather than that bring the general progression of the relationships between the MMCs. And it’s weird because Taj had been going on about it since the first book so I would’ve thought there’d be more both sexually and romantically. Third and fourth book just kinda felt like so much and so little are happening at the same time, I mean they’ve just been travelling to different villages and helping her with her heat. And I’ll be honest the pregnancy thing was kinda sudden, she said it was everything she was wishing for and wanted but… that’s not true? She never mentions kids in the first book as far as I can remember, not even a ‘I’ve given up on the idea of kids’. The fae god doesn’t do shit really either, annoyingly because there was such a strong emphasis on the gods in the first book. I felt like it became less and less fantasy when more and more men were being added. I don’t think Aless added much unfortunately because he was interesting but his development wasn’t strong enough and I know him being last was part of that issue. His personality isn’t distinct enough and in fact I feel like it was a bit watered down since we met him in the last book.
That’s not to fault what was right. I do adore the characters nonetheless, it’s the main reason why I kept reading. I think the world that the author built is still very interesting. Just lots of potential that wasn’t utilised well I think.
I’m in so much trouble with my mates. I just want them so much. Good thing they are mine.
For soo long all Ariadne has ever wanted is to be loved, to find somewhere safe and accepted.
Her journey has been a challenge like no other and alongside her mates who have joined, the only thing keeping them all going is the knowledge of safety in the South. Where they can show their true Fae side, grow together as a clan and finally make a home. Ariadne heat has passed, her mates have fulfilled their duty and now they must make it across the border to the South.
Ariadne has never been more terrified, there have been many obstacles but she knows that with her mates by her side, they will find a way…they always do.
But, what happens when the war that has been brewing finally hits their new home and her mates have no choice but to leave to face their enemy?
Can Ariadna survive what is to come and can her mates protect her from afar…before they lose themselves?
She undoes me. She ruins me. There can be no other woman for me, ever.
The journey comes to an end and I’ve enjoyed how much this story has developed with the characters playing a big part in this. With Ariadna finding out more about herself, being thrown into different situations and learning what it really means to be an omega.
I’ve loved her alpha/beta males, they each have a different personality and backgrounds that make them how they are. They all bonded together really well, bringing out a lot of different emotions to the story.
I do feel like more could have been written, some areas gone that bit further and details maybe added but, overall a great read!
This Story Needed Room to Grow - maybe two more books worth.
I really liked the bones of this series and the overall story. The characters were endearing and funny even if Ari was a bit whiny. The world-building was interesting and I had all kinds of hopes for what we might learn in the Southern Lands. The thread of hints from the Unnamed God, the talk of the King of the Rising Moon Lands, so many ideas (and possible future threats) felt like they would lead to really cool growth for the characters, but ultimately didn't go anywhere. Several dropped plotlines that just didn't lead anywhere. It's fine for the clan to end up where they do, but it was a bit anti-climactic after what the first three books seemed to be building to.
I would have loved to see this story fleshed out with all the kernels of potential story that lead us through the first three books, and I think that would have required at least two more books. Cool Story with a Meh Ending.
I absolutely adored this series and am kind of bummed that its done. This book was amazing, just like the rest of the series. I was so happy that they finally got to settle down and live in peace. While I did like the book overall, there were a couple of things that I disliked. For me, pregnancy in a book is kind of an ick - it typically limits the plotline and shifts the focus from adventure and a whirlwind romance to a woman with crazy pregnancy hormones. In addition, I felt like the dragon portion of this was kind of sudden and didn't seem to flow with the rest of the book. Like they just went off and left her alone for months and kind of forgot what they were fighting for and came back and that was just the end for the most part. It lead to a sudden ending, where I was expecting it to be a false ending with something more about to come because of how sudden and peaceful it was. All in all, this book was a good ending to the series and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Honestly could be mm. You could remove the fmc and it’d barely change anything. Put Finn in her place, mpreg him and already the story would greatly improve.
The fmc had potential that went right to the trash bcs of her omeganess. Her fighting training as an acolyte with weapons? Barely used throughout the 4 books. It’s gonna be rude yet it’s the truth: she could’ve been more but she ended up being just a womb. A cherished and precious womb, yes, but a womb nonetheless. Sadly, that was her character’s sole purpose in the end.
A great end to an amazing series! I feel like everything really all come together at the end and so many more surprises that was hinted at but didn’t expect to happen. Overall would definitely recommend reading this series if you love a unique take on the fae and omegaverse this should definitely be added to your tbr list.
Ariadne’s heat has passed and she’s pregnant, plus they’ve crossed the border. But are they safe? I loved that we got to see Ariadne and her mates to safety and had the chance to get to know Finn, Taj, Kiaren, Aless and Rhian better - plus, babies! A sweet and emotional final chapter.
This book seemed a lot like filler than anything special added to the story. Everything monumental that happened in this book was kind of brushed over instead of experiencing it. And the main focus of this one was a lot of naked time. Which is fine, and honestly enjoyed, but nit when the flow or plot suffers.
A great ending to an amazing series. Good developed characters with backstories, intricate worldbuilding and lot of action for the clan to find their hard earned HEA.

What a series, this last book in the series was just as good as the previous parts. It was exciting, often heartbreaking and dark. After all they have gone through, they still cannot live peacefully.
IT WAS CUTEEEEEEE. I would be sick if my men left me while I'm pregnant for war too FOR MONTHS AT THAT so I definitely understand her pain. Overall it was a good book loved the series!!!

Finally! Ariadne really deserved her hardly won HEA after 3 books of perils, adventures and overcoming obstacles. This book was about strengthening and nurturing the already created bonds in Ariadne's pack and learning curve for all of them how to live together. But finding home also meant protecting it in time of need and danger. For Ariadne this was the time for the greatest risk and the biggest sacrifice but once again she was so tough and brave, took the new challenge in stride, locked her fears and uncertainty deep inside. I loved watching her personal growth through all the books but here it really shined brightly. And even though she was the beating heart of this little family of misfits, it was a pleasure to see that all the men in her life had equally strong bonds between each other. "We deserve it, all of us. Going through sorrow and misery and fear, through pain and agony, fighting all the way, we’ve found each other and made it to the end of the uphill path." - yes, they really deserved their piece of happiness!

Unlikely Love by Mona Black is book four in the Hunted Fae Series. It’s a Fated Mates why-choose Fantasy Romance. This is the final book in the series so needless to say this is not a standalone, you must read the other books before this one. I’ve said this before about Mona Black books before but I’m a fan of how this author writes and the world that is created. I finished this book so fast because I couldn’t wait to see the characters finally get a happily ever after. The chemistry was so on point as was the banter. I love the guys have to get themselves back into Ariadne’s good side. But then again the characters themselves are my favorite part of the whole series. I love the theme of love and family that is woven throughout the series. If you’re a fan of fated mates, grumpy/sunshine, men that fall head over heels then this series is absolutely for you. The series as a whole definitely took me on a whirlwind of a journey, I highly recommend you check it out.
I love this series. Book 4 was a great ending to the trials that Ari and her Alphas (and Beta) went through to get to the Southlands. However, just because they finally made it past the border and away from the guards pursuing them doesn't mean they are in the clear! Even after finding their family and safe refuge doesn't mean they can stay. Heartache follows when the Alphas have to leave to defend the Southlands against the north. Will love prevail? Will they make it back safely to Ari in time to meet their growing family? This is a story I hated to see come to an end! This series is well worth the time to read! It has all of the elements to keep your interest: Humor, wonderful heroes and heroine, plenty of close calls, lots of action and intrigue, and a plot that keeps you immersed in the pages!.

Wow! This is so amazing: I love the family that Mona Black built. The trials they faced as each mate was found, the depth of emotion each person felt, and how all of them shared their love for each other. Ari is a lucky woman: gorgeous, sexy mates and a future with unlimited potential.
Mona doesn’t skimp on details: interactions between Finn, Taj, Kia, Rhian, and Aless are steamy, emotional, and often funny as they become more than individuals in a relationship and share their pasts, their traumas, and their passion. Add in Ari, who is their heart, and their epic journey is freaking awesome! Family, clan, or whatever description you can think of the love that resonates throughout this series is beautiful and unique! Loved each book!.

This is the last book in a truly amazing series. I hesitate to say anything about the story since I don't want to spoil it for other readers. What I can say is that there is so much action, emotion and passion in these pages that you will find yourself immersed in this world of the "Hunted Fae."
There is graphic sex, violence, and potential triggers about past abuse. There is MM as well as group sex. This is not standalone, and you should read the first 3 books in order to appreciate this one. There is an HEA that's been a long time coming and I think readers will be satisfied with the ending. I know that I am.

Getting to see Ari and her mates finally find their way to a HEA was a crazy and chaotic ride. From the beginning, the world building, and in depth characters that we’ve seen, have been so beautifully well balanced and engaging. This has truly been an amazing fantastical experience. One that was so easy to get lost in while we watched Ari meet, and fall for, her mates amidst chaos and unexpected circumstances. If you love fantasy, Omegaverse, adventure, danger, mystery, suspense, action, passion, chemistry, fated mates, friendship, family, and believe that love is love…then you’ll find yourself devouring this series. Grab it NOW!

Wow! What a ride this series has been. As one of my standout OV reads for the year, I am sad that it has finally concluded, but happy for the well deserved HEA for our favorite clan nevertheless.
As per usual, this fourth book takes off immediately where the third ended. Ari and her mates have finally made it to the border in hopes of crossing to the south for a more peaceful, safer and accepting way of life for their growing family.
This is not easily achieved though, with enemies approaching from all sides throwing multiple obstacles in the clan's way. Readers are taken through a roller coaster of emotions, but this just makes the happy ending that much sweeter.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and found the conclusion to be quite satisfying. Highly recommended!
Hunted Fae Book 4 was a joy to read. I liked learning more about the characters and a little more about their past. They finally feel that they can stop and rest for a while. Ari needs her nest before the babies arrive. The panic is real that she won't be ready and settled before the birth.
This storyline has plenty of action drama and sexual chemistry between the clan. The war is coming and they are all worried for their Omega Ari. How can protect her and the clan from the empire. There was plenty of humour sprinkled with sadness and fear that her clan will be harmed or killed whilst they are trying to protect their Omega and their future children. A lovely read.
4.5 stars - I would knock the final star down by half only because I felt that there could have been a bit more. By the end of the tale, there is still so much that feels unknown - especially with Aless and Rhain. Also, with all of the build up with the unnamed god, it felt like there should have been a bit more, either with the south as a whole or the king. Overall, I loved the whole tale. That clan fought so hard for their love and freedom. It was beautiful. I'm going to hope there will be other branches of this tale as I feel like there is more to be learned in this world.

A fantastic ending to a fantastic tale. Ariadne finally gets her happily ever after. After finally making it to the south, the crew is able to settle down for a bit and feel safer although the threat of the war is still on the horizon. When the King calls for the alpha to fight in the war the guys go leaving a very upset and pregnant Ariadne and Rhian behind. Once they get back from the war, the guys have to grovel (my favorite part) to get back into Ariadnes good graces. They are then truly safe when the family finally get to meet their babies.
I loved that’s after so many months of fighting, running, and surviving, the whole groups was able to find love, connection, and family.
After everything they have endured, the HEA is just within their reach. Things are far from settled. A few more trials and tribulations ate asked of this clan my their unknown God before they can finally seek respite. Nothing hard really - only to bring safety to the Fae. They should be able to handle it, right?!
Add a little drama to the mix by having their omega become pregnant and some of their alphas become near feral - it's a real fun ride. Full of passion and more action than other books in the series. Get ready for some fun.

I am so thankful to have gotten to read and experience this beautifully written tale. With the conclusion of this series, my heart is bursting. There’s so much love and awe at the journey, the love, the trials, and the lessons that not only the characters experience, but lessons that we as readers can also take from this.
I truly hope that if you love high fantasy stories, why-choose relationships, and omegaverse stories with spice that you decide to read this series! I don’t want to say too much since this is the fourth book of the series. Just know that book 4 is the gift we all need 💗
This series is EPiC! Ari and her clan finally cross the border and found a place to call home in safety....so they think! While they firm the bonds between them ,new troubles come to their door. A fantastic series in a detailed and multifaceted universe,an enticing and often complex plot and storyline ,great settings and world building and the characters are absolutely delicious! I loved this series and I highly recomend!.
