Jade Marshall’s, Gift Wrapped is the next book in the 12 Dates of Christmas series.
This is an MF romance with a paranormal trope. The main characters are shifters.
Lake Roman is the female lead, and she is a ligress shifter. She is an office assistant who has just ended things with her boyfriend who just uses her, and she has had enough. Her regular coffee shop barista recommends that she give the new dating app a try to get over the wasted time with her ex.
Wilder Smith is the male lead, he’s a tiger shifter. He is the boss and owner of his own company and his past relationships have all been casual. Lately, he’s been wanting more and he’s open to looking for it by joining the match-making service of one of his wealthiest clients.
They are matched up via the app but don’t meet right away, instead spending time getting to know each other and flirting via text and calls.
Everything is going really well until it becomes clear that they actually know each other. Wilder figures it out first and he’s determined to not let it come between him and his perfect match.
This was fun and sweet and Wilder was more than willing to help Lake explore her kinky side.

To add to Lake’s great day she finds out she has been promoted also. She’s gone from just a department manager's assistant to the big boss's assistant. Unfortunately, he’s kind of a grumpy ass. Despite that, she ends up getting matched with a man on the dating app that actually might be just what she’s looking for.
Wilder has to take on a new assistant so one of his managers isn’t distracted by the woman he says is just too sexy and distracting. What he isn’t expecting is for her to be just as much of a distraction for him. He’ll have to figure out how to avoid her until he has a better solution. Making his day look up though is finding a match on the dating app that surprises and interests him.
As Ligress28 and DomBrae they instantly hit it off. They are compatible in many ways. They enjoy talking and getting to know each other and their chemistry is obvious via message and phone.

This is my first book by Jade and it won’t be my last. This book centers around Lake who has decided enough is enough with her now ex - he has spent too much time taking her for granted, and what has he done for her nothing he is take, take, take in every sense. But hey I’ve got my job that I love.
A coffee and a flier for this dating app why not what have i got to lose. Lake loves her job and is told she will now be working for the main guy himself Wilder – Mr Smith he likes his formalities and being left alone. In Lakes eyes Wilder is gruff and unapproachable although hot.
Wilder just hasn’t been able to meet the right person so he is giving the dating app another go but so far nothing. Having Lake outside is hell on earth, she is stunning and has all the right curves but she is an employee and that is it.

Book 3 in the series, Gift Wrapped gives us a fast paced story with shifters, instant chemistry, and a boss employee element. I loved how fast the plot moved along, how quickly we got the spice, and kept the creative spicy scenes throughout the entire story. Even though this is part of a Christmas themed shared world, the Christmas element of the story is really just background, and I appreciated that.
I wanted a lot more of Lake, the female main character. I loved reading about a strong and confident Ligress Shifter who was not afraid to go after what she wanted. Wilder was the perfect Alphahole, unapologetic, protective and dominant. I always want more of Jade Marshall's fabulous characters.
I recommend this quick read to all readers that love a quick romance story, shifter romance story, or spicy spicy spicy romance!

I loved this story. It brings the idea of gifting to a whole mother level. The paranormall shifters are both strong, alpha pair, who do not realize that they are flirting with each other thur a paranormal dating site.

This sets off a chain of events that put them together, physically and their feelings are finally known to each other and their love continues to grow.

Love & Shenanigans - a dating app and part of a very unique shared world. This story involves shifters Lake and Wilder. Lake just got rid of her lazy boyfriend who doesn't work and lives off her. She's unhappy, kicks him out and wine helps her decide to fill out the form for the dating app. She also gets a promotion at work so her day is going great and then she meets her new grumpy boss.
Wilder is tired of dates that only want what his money can provide, never looking beyond the suit. And he decided to complete the app and is only looking for a shifter that is compatible. He's not so happy with his new assistant though, he's too attracted to her.
Jade has given us a great story with interesting plot twists, nasty ex, secrets, a strong alpha, strong female that really wants someone to dominate her yet accept her strengths. A great addition to this series.

In this third book of this season we get to follow Lake as she changes her life. Lake finally kicks out her abuses ex who took her for granted. Now she gets a new position at work. After some wine she fills out her profile for the dating app. Wilder is tired of women want him just for his money. So, he turns to the app hoping to found someone to love him for him not just his money. When he agreed to switch assistant at work he was not except Lake or to be attracted to her. Both will match with each other but neither knows because they choose to keep their identity a secret but secrets has a way to reveal them. Their journey is spicy, twisted and full of secrets. But will they find their HEA in the end?

Book 3 in this multi-author world introduces us to the first shifter couple. She's a ligress, he's a tiger. He's the owner of a company, she's his new assistant. She's just getting out of a horrible relationship, he's looking for his mate. Behind the screen of the dating app, Love n Shenanigans, they can be themelves but what happens when they discover who they've been flirting with?
I love this premise. I loved that they fell in love over the app and the way it added an honesty to their relationships. I loved the heat and the steam, and the way they were attracted to each other even before they discovered who they were to each other. It's a quick, steamy read that was perfect for warming me up on a chilly winter afternoon.

Gift Wrapped is the perfect book to curl up with on the snowy afternoon. It is a quick shifter romance read. Lake is finally out of a bad relationship and wants to get back out there in the dating scene. She signs up for Love -N- Shenanigans and in a few hours found a match. Her relationship status isn’t the only thing that changed. She has a new boss, Wilder Smith. You have to read the book to see how Lake handle these changes. The book has a good amount of spice. It was a great romance and the shifter elements of the book complement the story and the reasoning behind Lake’s actions and thoughts.

Very quick hot read! The tension and chemistry these two have had me blushing. Even when texting you can see how well they go together. I definitely would not have minded a full length book on them.
I do love how he didn't hesitate to fire and her get a better job when he found out they match with each other. He didn't let the fact the he was her boss stop him from getting together. Him being so dominant and protective had me giggling.
I would have liked if they got a little bit more kinkier in the bedroom though. That was a big part of their story so I would have liked a little more.
The end had me in tears with how cute it was!

Welcome to Love and Shenanigans where anything can happen.... In this third book we went through the feelings of Lake and Wilder! Lake is a ligress and Wilder is a tiger shifter. What started out as a wanted one night stand soon turned into fated mates! The only issue is that Wilder is Lake's boss, so what's there left to do? In his mind all that's left is to fire her... She accepts because all she wants is to be with him! This is a short sweet book from the dating app we all wish we could have!

Jade Marshall does a brilliant job with this story. You cannot help but squeal in delight when you realise you know things before the characters do. More Love and Shenanigans as fate finds Lake and Wilder a perfect match. What's not to love about these two as they inadvertently get to know each other online? When Lake finally dumps her old boyfriend and finds herself the new assistant to the big boss, fate has its way in getting them together. The hot shot boss has got it all, and his assistant has gotten well and truly under his skin. I loved how Wilder was so protective of Lake even before they realised they were fated mates. I thoroughly enjoyed this quick, fun, spicy read.

Throw in a lot if spice and that's its Christmas time and its one excellent story that I highly recommend.

The third book in 12 dates of Christmas shared world brings us shifters. I love when shifter stories involve atypical animals. This one a tiger and a ligress. Lake and Wilder’s story is short but is spicy and even has some conflict. It is the perfect little holiday reading snack.

Loved reading Lake and Wilder's story. How he wanted to protect her and his reaction upon realizing what sent Lake's ex in a tailspin. Lake realizing who he was and his decision to keep her. How this story played out was great. I enjoyed this story. Jade Marshall is great in her writing and always want more.

Love N Shenanigans really knows what it's doing. Three for three. Love this series. I love how Lake is right under Wilder's nose and he didn't even know it. Thank God her original boss thought she was too sexy to work for him . On to the next book.

Lake ends up as Wilder's new assistant. He is attracted to her but knows she is off limits. They are both shifters and are both on dating app as well. She has a mean ex boyfriend that can't accept things being over. Loved how the story played out.

Loved this! This was a super short and quick read. I love how the dating site has different species on it. I loved the protectiveness involved and the trust. I read this book in literally 30 minutes or less because I couldn’t put it down. Definitely recommend checking it out!

I absolutely love a book when 2 characters have some massive chemistry and it builds and builds and bam they have an epic steamy encounter! I stayed up all night to finish this book because I couldn’t put it down. Definitely a great Christmas read!

This shifter Christmas story was on fire. Jade can do no wrong with her shifter romance stories. This author converted me and I love everything she writes. Lake and Wilder’s chemistry was off the charts. It may be short but it kept me turning the pages.

This is a very good, well written, Shifter, Christmas romance. The characters are interesting and lovable. The love -n- Shenanigans dating apps strikes again in this short, contemporary story. There is definitely some triggers but it ends HEA.

Hot damn, I love shifters. This quick read was amazing it included some kinks, violence, and love. Lake is amazing and Wilder definitely gives off alphahole dom vibes.

Jade Marshall has produced a short story that is so hot it is smoking! I prefer w/w of a sapphic character but this was surprisingly well written and entertaining.
