If the team keeps growing, Virgil is gonna need a bigger boat, erm, car. He's gonna need a bigger car.
Things are looking to get off on the wrong foot when a request to retrieve stolen art comes in. This isn't just some old picasso. It's a well known piece of ancient Greek history. Ancient Greek history with a direct connection to Hades - god of the underworld.
To make matters worse, the thieves who stole it are notorious for leaving a trail of dead behind. All while still being nearly impossible to track down.
With Greg going M.I.A, Poltergeist steps in to help pick up some of the slack. Good thing, because with people disappearing and women jumping into the city harbor things are getting fishy.
Speaking of fishy - there's still that unfinished task left by Poseidon, and time's running out.
Meg, or Vengeance depending on who you ask, doesn't do attachments let alone family. So when Greg stops communicating with the group she isn't handling things very well. She is keeping her worry mostly in control and now has the distraction of art theft and crime patrols. Oh, and the never ending meddling of those she rather be rid of. But they are just as mysterious and cryptic as usual adding more spice to the mix.
I really enjoy this series. I'm not saying too much about the plot cause I don't want to ruin the plot twist that was dropped in I think book 3. Meg has fun breaking the fourth wall at times but not in a terribly jarring way, I'm usually left chuckling. She has learned her lesson about communicating and trusting the found family she has created. And I can absolutely feel her emotions when reading this story, I really enjoy her. That being said I enjoy the whole menagerie. They are my favorite bunch of dysfunctional idiots.
