1902. No Edition Remarks. 336 pages. No dust jacket. Decorative red cloth with gilt lettering. Rough-cut pages. Black and white photographic plates. Frontispiece detached but present. Light foxing and tanning to pages and plates. More prominent to text block edges and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters and hinges causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Lettering remains bright and clear.
