A refreshing home of thoughts on early motherhood which you will want to revisit often.
Motherhood to Me is the third book in Emma Heaphy’s collection of poetry and prose on early motherhood, following Dear Motherhood and Mother On.
Here you will find her thoughts on pregnancy, postpartum, life with multiple children, the closing of some chapters and the opening of others. Most importantly, you will be reminded of your strength in what can feel like your weakest moments. Because while we give so much to motherhood, motherhood gives us even more. And that perspective shouldn’t ever be lost in translation.
Like her popular previous books, which remain in Amazon Best Selling Charts, Motherhood to Me will help countless mothers traverse through their own early motherhood experiences. Powerfully written, it has the ability to change your perspective for good, and maybe even your motherhood.
Don’t wait to start.
“Emma’s words describe motherhood so beautifully, so tenderly. They are like a hug personified.” Tara Clark, creator of Modern Mom Probs.
“Emma gives a voice to the parenting realities we all think, but rarely speak to, helping us feel united in the chaotic beauty that is motherhood.” Marcia Leone, author of Not So Mumsy.
“Emma’s heartfelt words authentically capture the raw beauty of motherhood, providing solidarity for mothers as a safe sanctuary to access comfort and compassion throughout their unique journey. You can expect to feel seen, heard and validated for the wild ride that motherhood is; with an inner knowing that you are not alone.” Sarah Cremona, founder of The Mumma Nest
Dzejas un prozas krājums “Motherhood to me” būs tā grāmata, kas stāves manā naktsskapītī kā aptieciņa. Tik precīzi un trāpīgi ietērpts vārdos piedzīvotais un izjustais.
“Motherhood to me” būtu liekama katrai sievietei somiņā, dodoties NO dzemdību nama mājās, līdzīgi kā mēs krāmējam dzemdību somu dodoties uz dzemdībām. ❤️
i'm a first time mom and read this over the first 2 weeks of my son's life and i'm so glad i did. it has a lot for every phase of motherhood so i'll try to revisit this over the years as he grows. there were absolutely some things that my fragile, growing, first-time postpartum heart needed ❤️
I absolutely loved this .. it’s not my typical book but reading this and knowing there’s someone out their that feels like me in motherhood was so comforting
I ABSOLUTELY loved this book! It was so relatable. I loved every single page! I really felt like this author was so well spoken. This is definitely one of my favorite books I've read this year so far! Wow. I read this on my Kindle but will probably end up purchasing a copy for my home library. It was great and if you are a mom, you can totally relate to this one and I would HIGHLY recommend. Can't wait to read more by this author!
