Lark has a lot to cope with. She’s undervalued at Creating Beauty Co. In Virginia so on hearing of her father’s declining health. She makes the decision to move back to Dallas to care for him. When she has car trouble , she meets Joey an auto repair shop owner. They are both old friends, could this be the start of something new? Her father is very un accepting of her help to start which breaks her heart. While she faces hostile in her job Easy Beauty ,Joel is dealing with his own workplace conspiracy. These two hearts are better suited together to face their problems and rise above them as one. Beautifully written work by Drew Beyson.Lark and Joey face it head on . But does this mean their relationship is done or do they carry on…Awesome writing and inviting . With awesome characters and descriptions. I’m leaving my review voluntarily in my own words.

Lark has a lot going on. The problems at work and struggling with her dad. She is working through everything but it is hard. I was rooting for her and was glad how her story is going. A great story.

Lark's dad is struggling with accepting help and the diagnosis given. At work things are disappearing and she's suspicious of sabotage. Could running into an old friend result in a new relationship? Will she be able to discover what is happening at work and prove it before her chances are ruined? What will it take to get her dad to let her in? I received a copy of this book from the author.
