Much better than the first one, but still not as good as other books. There's more talking and doing in this book other than lots of hot sex, but still not a lot of back story. Just a lot of sex which there's nothing wrong with.

Interesting. This is a new Harlequin Short. Believe me it did not take me long to read this story and that was for two reasons. First, because it is a short story. Second because it was interesting and I wanted to see where everything was leading.

Grace was a driven woman. She is determined to make a name for herself in art world. She fell in love with the works of Jaxon Silva the first time she saw it. Now it's her time to shine with his display. She's proud of her work … excited to be putting the show together … scared that it won't be accepted. Little does she know that she has impressed at least one person.
Jaxon has never seen his work portrayed this way. He's enthralled … with the display and with the curator. He needs to photograph her and he needs to do it desperately. Now, to convince her that she won't be compromised in the art community.

As they come together and she agrees to his request, they can't help but feel the connection, the energy between them. As the week progresses, so do their feelings. The pictures are beautiful, their love is beautiful.

I was surprised that Tracy Wolf was able to build her characters and this story in so short a time. But, she did. You knew what Jaxon and Grace were working towards and why. You felt the connection between the two of them and hoped that everything they wanted, they got. I was really impressed that she was able to bring out all the emotions and passion the way she did. Impressed, surprise and happy that I got to read this story.

This is one quick, smoldering, sexy read. But oh so-satisfactory. It almost made me wish the book is longer. Almost because everything wrapped up very nicely at the end that I cannot complain that it’s not enough.

I must admit I was taken aback by how quick Jaxon Silva makes his move. It was almost...predatory and not to mention creepy. But that scene at the gallery the following day change everything. There is almost that sense of desperation in their fast-moving relationship. But funny enough, it genuinely felt more than just pure lust between them. Considered me sold on their relationship.

It's love, people!

Not too bad of a super quick fun times story. This one had ropes in it so that was kinda cool. It’s hard to get really into the characters because it’s short, but it’s a nice afternoon read to break up your normal reading schedule.

Hero wants to tie up (Japanese rope bondage) and photograph the heroine - but since she's an assistant curator and has to work in the business, she says no. He, of course, doesn't take no for an answer and I pretty much hate everything right now. You know what's sexy? Heroes who listen to heroines. That's sexy.

4/5 - I really like these short erotica novellas from Carina Press.

Grace and Jaxon were hot in this story. Steam for days. And , give me anything with rope bondage. Shibari is beautiful and sexy.

While I liked this story there’s a lot of dialogue, internally. Not much doing besides sex. I completely understand the purpose of erotica’s and appreciate them but there’s usually some plot. Not just get in the pants of the other person and create ways to do so. This isn’t even much of a complaint more observation.

Thank you NetGalley and Carina Press for the opportunity to review this story.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

I am enjoying the variety and different ways that authors have interpreted "The Dirty Bits" in this series from Carina Press. I would recommend that you give them a try - and remember the premise of all the 'good' bits in a short story, and judge them on that basis. They are quick, often cheeky, forays into passion, often with a quick transition to romance. Sometimes a short, sexy story is just what you need!

This is the second in the series for Tracy Wolff, and I would definitely suggest that you read Hope and Deacon's story too, as it is also super hot!

Grace Parker has been a fan of photographer Jaxon for a very long time, and now she has curated an exhibition of his work. When he sees it, he knows that she has a far better understanding of him and what his work means than anyone he has ever met. This pleases him greatly, because from the moment he saw her photo, he has planned to tie her up, please her, and photograph the results.

He is a man on a mission, and whilst Grace is protective of herself, recognising that she could fall in love with him far too easily, she is really at his mercy. And he makes sure that she loves every minute of it! I enjoyed his care, and whilst he pushes her, he also knows when to hold back and when to make the next move. As we get to read both their sides of the way the week progresses, it is clear that this is just the beginning of something bigger and important. For me that is the perfect way to end such a short story!

3.5⭐⭐⭐ Another sexy dirty bits read by Tracy Wolff, this time Grace, a curator who is putting on a exhibition of Jaxon's photography, he is someone she has been obsessed with for years. On meeting him, she is intrigued and attracted to him and pushed completely out of her comfort zone in order to find out what it is like to be at his mercy in more ways than one.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.
Jaxon is a famous photographer and Grace is a curator at the museum holding one of his shows.
He was intrigued by Grace just from her emails and when he got the chance to watch her at a local bar, he took it. But he couldn't just watch, he had to meet her. And he was happy to see that she wasn't a push over. But he wanted more from her.
Grace goes to the bar close to her apartment for a drink never thinking that the artist that she has been planning a show for would be there. When a man offers to buy her drink she refuses, even when she realizes that it's Jaxon Silva. She is shocked to see him sitting next to her.
In the short time they spend together, their feelings grow and it scares Grace. She knows that Jaxon has to leave soon for another show soon. She can not risk her heart. But Jaxon wants more and doesn't seem to care about the show.
Can they make a relationship work or will they crash and burn? Will Grace get over her fear of losing him? Can Jaxon make her see that she is what he wants?
I liked the first story but liked this one more. This one had a little more story-line and more sex and being a quick read, there wasn't much time for more backstories on them, but I guess if there were then it would be a novel. Anyway, if you are looking for a quickie, then this is one for you. And if you love Tracy Wolff as I do, you have to read it.

Make Me (The Art of Pleasure #2) by Tracy Wolff
3 stars
M/F BDSM Romance
I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

Jaxon and Grace's first meeting isn't quite what Jaxon wanted. I loved how Grace wasn't going to let him get away with anything. She made him work for every inch. But, after that, I thought that she folded like a chair.

I wanted more from Grace. She started out so strong. But, once Jaxon was able to smooth talk her, her resolve to hold out and make a name for herself in the industry went to the back burner.

While they had some great chemistry, I wanted more of a story than to just watch these two dance around whether or not Grace was going to allow Jaxon to photograph her. But, if you wanted a quick and dirty read, this is your story. Just don't expect a lot of character development.

“It’s what I’ve been looking for all along—a way in. A way to see what’s inside of her, to find all the small, jagged pieces of her that she keeps locked away. After all, she’s already seen mine…As I work, I pay attention to Grace and not the rope. The rope has been with me so long it’s like an extension of me, another part of me, wrapping around Grace. Holding her. Cradling her. Tying her to me.”*

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

When Jaxon, a famous photographer, meets Grace, the curator for his latest museum exhibit, sparks fly. He blown away by how she simply gets him, as is evidenced by the insightful and loving way she’s assembled and showcased this works. Not only does he want to bed her, he’s itching to tie her up with his shibari rope and capture her with his camera. She seems to see inside his soul, and he wants to know her as intimately as she seems to know him. Grace can’t believe her favorite artist is interested in her. His request to tie her up both frightens and excites her, but she doesn’t want to jeopardize her career by giving into her desires, no matter how delicious they may be.

MAKE ME is the first story I’ve read in the Dirty Bits line published by Carina Press. The story definitely delivered on Carina’s romance promise “All the romance you’re looking for with an HEA/HFN.” The story is sensual and generates plenty of the feels romance lovers crave. The story takes place over a short period of time, but the connection between the couple leaves no doubt that they have something special that will last.

The narration goes deep into the character’s feelings and the love scenes sizzle. There’s a hint of BDSM in the story, but it’s something that’s used to enhance trust and intimacy, rather than the focus. With their novella-length word count, stories in the Dirty Bits line are meant to be devoured in a sitting or two, which nicely fits into a packed to-be-read list.

Thanks to NetGalley and Carina Press for the opportunity to experience this book in advance of its release.

Jaxon and Grace’s story is hard and fast. They connect on a deeper level and resisting each other seems almost impossible.

She sees too much and that scares Jaxon to death. No one has ever gotten this close to his true self. And to make matters worse he can’t seem to stop wanting her.

Grace has never in her life met anyone like him and its hard for her to understand his attraction to her.
She has been hurt before and her low self esteem is not letting her see what fascinates this amazing artist.

Letting go of her inhibitions and fears will free her and might give her a chance to experience the love of a lifetime.

Super fast paced story, they meet and fall. So if you don’t like that type of bool don’t bother.

I enjoyed the characters but i found myself a bit bored by them. I couldn’t connect with either of them.

Its not a bad book, but I just couldn’t get into the story.

Make Me
4 No Photos please Stars

I discovered Tracy Wolff with art of pleasure #1 which focused on a sculptor. This focuses on an photographer and he is a kinky kinky man. This is a scorching read even the build up scenes are intense. Jaxon is immediately obsessed with Grace and what follows is 7 days of addiction, sex, and intense infatuation. Of course we are supposed to leave the book knowing the characters are in love. If I left the book with the notion that they were totally a couple and really happy with each other it would make more sense. I think Grace was finally opening up to herself as a character but then the book ended. I know I know its supposed to be a crazy hot and kinky novella but man .. I really need to check out the authors back list to see what her full length books hold because I bet you I would feel the connection then! This story is a safe and consensual story about Shiburi.

Jaxon Silva is a very accomplished photographer and Grace Parker is excited to curate a show around his photos at the museum she works at. Grace has been drawn to his work since she was 16. What Grace didn't realize is that Jax is very drawn to her and wants to photograph her, bound in his ropes.

Grace is hesitant to let a man control her because of things from her past, but quickly changes her mind because she is just so drawn to Jax. Jax cannot explain why he is so drawn to Grace but together they have a strong chemical attraction.

It takes a huge leap of faith for Grace and Jax to fully commit and trust in the other, but once they do, they find the happy ending they both always longed for.

This was an enjoyable novella dealing with shibari and interesting to read.

Talk about a spicy hot book! Make Me checks all the boxes! Smoking hot British hero-✅, sizzling heroine-✅, enticing chemistry-✅, believable storyline-✅✅✅!

Jacob is a photographer and Grace is the curator of the gallery set to show his latest work. When they meet they ooze chemistry from the page! Their attraction is combustible and I loved their story!

Even though this book is a quick read, I never felt it moved to fast. The author did a good job of writing their desperation for each other and it was oh so satisfying! Did you remember me saying it was spicy hot??! Woo wee!

Great story to breakup those long novels!

So here's the thing... IT TOOK ME FOREVER to finish this book and I can't exactly tell you why. The writing is good, the characters are ok, and once we get to the last 15% of the book and emotions and kink is involved, I was all in. Sort of. But it literally took me two and a half months to finish it. I would see it on my Goodreads list and say to myself "you should go ahead and knock that out," but then I just couldn't and I'd start (and finish) something else. I guess I just didn't connect with the book. I was super interested in the kink that is explored towards the end of the book and I wish we had gotten more of that. And some more character development or exploration or something that could've helped me form more of an attachment to them. But oh well... 3 out of 5 wine glasses.

Unfortunately, I missed the first book in this series, and find it annoying when authors don’t note that it is book 2 of a series. That said, this story does stand-alone and is not for anyone who wants a romance of hearts and flowers. Basically it starts with a stalker type element, which I found creepy, but quickly moves on to a full-blown, scorchingly hot, sexual encounter that is documented over 7 days. I did enjoy the story, but it left the reader guessing that there was a HEA, rather than spelling it out.

Jaxon and Grace's story really had my kindle sizzling and my heart racing whilst reading it and I devoured the story in one sitting.
It's erotica and Tracy Wolff knows exactly what her readers want.
British artist Jaxon takes one look at Grace and knows she would be the perfect subject all bound up and in that exact moment of pleasure would look even more beautiful.
He needs to have her in front of his camera.
This is a quick, hot as hell and spicy read that will really get you in the mood.

Grace has never had someone just want her or even think she is beautiful but if you look through the eyes of Jaxon Silva she most certainly is. Grace is a curator in a famed art gallery and she has set up a show for the world famous artist who is known for his work in bondage. When he begs Grace to pose for him she objects vehemently until little touches and reassurances has Grace begging to try being tied up. This is a quick story to read but full of love if Grace can beat her insecurities.

This guy has the balance between intense and sweet perfected. His first reactions towards Grace is to devour her but since she is so skittish he recognizes that he needs to take his time. Care for her, get to know her as deeply as she has discovered his true self. Jaxon feels exposed every time he is near Grace without she even trying. She just genuinely gets him. But not even when that sets him off kilter and leaves him feeling naked, he never wants to be away from her. She peaks his curiosity even more and without a doubt he is determine to make her realize that he is not going anywhere. That he wants everything with her and from her. Just as he plans to give her his all. The bondage is a bonus too.
