This is the final book in Sam's ghost series. I read it, under protest because its June, with the Facebook group and my protest was noted by Mr. Whittaker himself. That being said, I'm so glad I read it because it was a nice short novella that seemed to wrap up the series very nicely. There were still a few intense moments and, of course, ghosts were involved, but I loved how this story was more pleasantly paranormal than the others. It was really a great way to end the series.

Cheap, simple and fast horror entertainment and I loved it. With it’s around 60 pages you can speed through it while cooking dinner. It’s not a masterpiece, which is one of the reasons I liked it so much

As per usual, Whittaker has created an impeccable story. Although short, the writing is well done and the storyline engaging. I imagine it can be quite hard to create fleshed out characters and fully formed storylines in such a short format; however, Whittaker's main characters have rich history that show through from past novels and the new characters for this story have just enough for the reader to truly understand their stories. The plot itself is just as well done despite the length of the book. The details are succinct but all there to create a great little read.

*I highly recommend reading all these books in order, and this book is no different. Although, this could be read standalone, I believe it would be better enjoyed within the series.

This was an enjoyable quick read, perfect for anyone wanting a Christmas-time ghost story. Steve and Katie are recovering from previous ghostly encounter and decide to stay at an isolated cabin in the woods for Christmas. What could possibly go wrong?

The story moves at a fast pace and has a happy ending. It has a few scary moments, but nothing too graphic. Just what you want at Christmas with a few ghosts!

The ending was GREAT!!! 🙌

Who knew that going on a Christmas vacation to a cabin would lead to another encounter with ghosts? Oh wait, Steve and Katie should have known, hehe! Butttt this one was super adorable and the similarities between the couples was amazing. It tied everything so well and I thoroughly enjoyed this one! Great series. Loved listening to them on audible! So worth it.

I totally enjoyed this delightful Christmas story! It was so interesting with its ghosts that finally find each other after being apart some years. I ended up with tears in my eyes. Loved it!!!!!!

I could feel it in my BONES that this short installment of the ghostly elements series was gonna be a good one! Steve and Katie have been through hell and back and they finally needed a ghost that wasn’t so rough on them this time. I loved reading this series this year!
