4/5 "I've loved Ryker St. Thomas since before I even knew what love was."
TROPES: ~brothers best friend ~unrequited love ~age gap
PLOT: Clara is in love with her brother's best friend. They haven't seen each other in over a year. Things get hot and steamy pretty quickly, but what happens when the brother finds out?
THOUGHTS: I enjoyed this!! I've never read a book by Ariel London and this won't be my last. I loved the forbidden feel to it and all the secret trysts. I can't wait to see what Ariel writes next!
SAFETY: Ages: 19h, 27H Virgin/celibate?: virgin heroine OM/OW?: no Cheating/sharing?: no HEA? yes! <3
Clara is a 19 year old about to start college, crushing on her best friend's older brother who is home from his nomadic lifestyle. He's finally noticed that she has grown up from the little girl she used to be and the sparks fly.
This was a quick but spicy virgin instalove novella. It was good for a short spicy story but I've never really liked the instalove genre. It's not really much of an age gap 19 to 27 but they're both in the same stage of life so it works for a real relationship. Quite a few typos and odd statements bring you out of the story a little too much but it was still an enjoyable read. I'd read more from this author.
