Book 2 so good!! These books just keep getting better! We just keep getting more and more involved and attached to Adria and Joseph. I love that we are getting more of the other characters. Great plot, drama, and spicy scenes.

I am screaming for book three. This was fantastic I love the development of the characters and their relationship. Obviously we all hate Ivan. I cannot wait to read book three. This book is exactly what was needed to develop the story more.

Continuing straight after Pinky Promise, the darkness continues as Adria is held prisoner by a ruthless mafia rival. Joseph comes to the rescue and has to help guide her through her trauma and recovery. They get to explore new experiences together and some surprises in their relationship. We also see Leo and Heidi's relationship develop too.
More drama, violence, high stakes intensity, and more spicy goodness.

And again you didn’t disappoint me. The way that the relationship between Joseph and Adria has grown and blossomed is just perfection.
That disgusting, vile, abhorrent Russian named Ivan missed his little chat with me!!!
The trial and tribulations and lengths that these two characters have gone through just to be together is next level.
I cannot believe you left me hanging again…. I am in desperate need for Book 3 please!

Oh My Lawd!!!!
This book goes DARK! When Adria gets taken, my heart broke. I felt for her, for Joseph and what she endured . . . well . . . you will just have to read. This is an amazing read and I highly recommend it for dark mafia readers. This author does not shy away from the details in the story and I loved every min of it!

I really wanted to like this book but there is just something about the pacing and writing style that just isn't for me. It was like the author wanted to put 5 books worth of plot twists into a single 200 page book. It does end on a cliff hanger, but it didn't make me want more like the last book.

As stated in my review for the 1st book I was so hooked into the series that I immediately jumped into this book to find out what happened. I do recommend reading the trigger warnings before proceeding with this book but even with everything that happened I couldn't put the book down.

This book picks up where book 1 left us with Adria in danger and Joseph doing everything he can to find her. I really enjoyed this book as we got to dive into their lives a bit more and to see how Joseph refused to give up on Adria and to help her deal with all she went through. I also liked seeing a more vulnerable side to Joseph as he learned to let Adria in more. I also loved seeing more of Heidi and Leo and their relationship as they became a support for the two of them. Can’t wait for book 3.

Adriana and Joseph.
Wow. This was a lot to unpack. Adriana was taken and was away from Joseph for a month by the time they found out where she was. She was taken by Ivan. They were looking everywhere. Her best friend Heidi is actually the one that found out where she was. She was in Russia. Joseph, leo and some of the other crew went to rescue her. They were able to get into Ivan’s house without getting hurt. So Joseph went to find her. He found her tied to a bed and when the door opened she panicked but when she saw that it was him she relaxed. He was able to get her into the shower to clean off. He asked her what happened but she wasn’t ready to tell him yet. She ended up telling him on the plane because she had a bad nightmare!! Everything changed for them months later. One day Marissa went into the apartment when Joseph wasn’t there. But Adriana and Heidi were. She was asking why he was with Adriana but she had a gun pointed at her. Joseph had gone upstairs and heard yelling so he walked into the room and saw what was happening. He got Marissa’s attention. He took the gun from her. They talked for a second and he told her to leave. She had other plans. She told him he was going to pay for this and she ran and jumped over the balcony!! Turns out she was right. She released a video and it didn’t look good for Joseph. He ended up getting arrested. Leo took Adriana and Heidi to the safe house. Everything went to you know what after that. This is the 2nd in the series and it is so good!!

I devoured this book in just one day!
This story continues the relationship between Joseph, a mafia don, and Adria, a doctor. As their relationship continues the ups and downs you are met with so many twists and turns you just have to go read!

I liked this book better than the first!
Adria and Joseph have both matured a lot, and I enjoyed the story more because we got to see more emotional development between them. Their friendship with Heidi and Leo is sweet and supportive.

This second good in the Pinky Promise Series brought tears to my eyes and had me holding my breath. A fantastic, fast-paced steamy mafia romance. I continue to grow attached to these complex characters. They have heart and passion. This series is easily becoming one of my favorites, and I highly recommend it to all who enjoy morally grey characters with incredibly hot scenes.

This is the second book in the series, and I would strongly recommend reading the first book, "Pinky Promise", to fully understand the characters and their context. Please be aware that this book contains trigger warnings.
I found this book to be engrossing and couldn't put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am loving this series - I'm excited to see that a third book is available.
The story provides answers to questions from the first book, with a fast-paced and action-packed plot. The characters continue to face and overcome challenges, including trauma and drama, and the book features elements of dark romance, twists and turns, and spicy content. The story also involves children and other engaging elements that add depth to the narrative.
I found this installment to be even better than the first. The relationships between Joseph and Adria, and Leo and Heidi, are particularly well-portrayed.
The book concludes with another cliffhanger, leaving me eager to read the next one immediately. I appreciated the bonus scenes included at the end of this book and am looking forward to continuing with the third installment. I highly recommend this book and series - readers will not be disappointed.

I devoured this book in one sitting! Shytle has a way of writing that just pulls you in and doesn't let go. I loved getting Joseph's perspective in this one and seeing his softer side come out. He's still got that alpha male thing going on, but you can tell Adria changes him for the better.
And speaking of Adria, I'm so glad she's starting to feel better about herself. It's awesome to see Joseph build her up and make her feel cherished. The steamy scenes are still there, but they're balanced out by some really sweet moments between them. I can't wait to read the next book and see what happens with these two!

What the ever loving heck is this author doing to me?!!!
This picks up right where the last book threw the readers off a very high cliff!
This book is much darker than the first and the trauma that Adria endures is beyond heartbreaking and seeing how Joseph tears the world apart to find Adria and help her begin to heal and support her in any way she wants/needs is so devastating in a beautiful way - as odd as that sounds. They endure so much, but how they stick together even when the blows keep coming, is lovely to read. I loved the character development and growth as well as more of the supporting characters.
Lots of dark themes to go along with the spice and love story. Can’t say too much without giving spoilers.
A wonderful Mafia romance and I can’t wait for the third book as I am so invested in this couple!
The twists and turns had my head spinning as I never knew what was coming next and the surprises never stopped!

A Love Like No Other.
The double pinky promise came to us head strong with a promise of retribution and tons of surprises. I have to be honest in saying I was not prepared for the emotional rollercoaster book 2 has taken me on.
The romance that blossoms further between Joseph and Adria is one for the ages. I adore the way they look at each other like there is.no one else in the world. Their love reminds me of my husband and I on so many levels, without the mafia stuff of course haha.
I adore seeing more interaction including Leo and Heidi as well, and the way the two of them grow from puppy love and googoo eyes to something you can tell and feel is much much deeper.
All in all the storyline of this one was emotional, and the challenges these characters face is palpable. You can feel every tear, laugh, scream, everything these characters are doing with each word that was written. A beautiful love story that I am so excited to continue reading.

Book 2 wow! The cliff hanger of book 1 made me devour book 2 as soon as possible! I loved that this book seemed to be a like darker and as a dark romance lover I was here for it! Joseph is just the man of my dreams and I find myself feeling like I am the same as Adria. Her thoughts are one I have had a time or too.

Here is my only warning (no spoilers) at the end of the book there are bonus scenes. Even I struggled a little and cried and I do not have any triggers when reading so you know it's intense.
I can not wait for book 3 because I need to know what happens next!!

Continuing the series from the cliffhanger with Pinky Promise.
"The Double Pinky Promise" was just as good and Brittany did an incredible job of showing a lot of growth not just with the storyline, but with both Joseph and Adria. To know that there were so many factors that came into play with this series so far, things that should have torn them apart, they truly overcame and became stronger than ever. I will say this was the book that we needed to really develop and take in everything that happened. Brittany gave great development, growth and plot twists for days! I loved that we see a different side to Joseph that we normally don't see in mafia romances. A mafia man is suppose to have this hard exterior, but you see that facade crack every single time he's near Adria. The softness and desire to fully let her in is there, and I LOVED seeing that side of him. Love this series and can't wait to see how it plays out.

JOSEPH is a saint. The way he didn’t even give a second thought into taking care of both babies even though one of them belong to Ivan! Like sir. 😅 puhlease!! And whenever i thought Joseph was going to die i literally didn’t know what to do with myself i was over here about to come apart 😂

Just like Pinky Promise, The Double Pinky Promise was full of surprises! B. Shytle allowed readers to connect more with Joseph as he gradually became vulnerable throughout this dual POV. The character development was the best part of this book because of how drastically Joseph and Adria changed compared to the first book, Pinky Promise. Joseph's stubborn tendencies immediately changed because of how invested he became with Adria. The body image issues Adria initially battled with also changed positively with the help of Joseph's continuous reassurance. I'm excited to read Do You Still Pinky Promise and see how this story unfolds.

So the first book ended on a cliffhanger so I had to grab this one immediately to see what happened!
The flow of these books is perfect, so easy to quickly read, I finished this one in a day. Super fast paced
The “scenes” are good though it’s not through the whole book and they aren’t drawn out but they are good
Parts of the book are a little rushed and I wish there was a little more behind them but the way they are doesn’t ruin the books I just sometimes prefer a little more detail.
Now on to book 3 because I have to know how this story ends

This is book two of the Pinky Promise Series and let me tell you that this book was soooo good!!! Book one was awesome and yet once again Brittany did not disappoint me. Book two is awesome as well! I literally couldn't put this series down. I really loved the characters, storyline, all the spicy moments, and the authors writing style. Once I finished book two I immediately jumped into book 3 because I was dying to know what happened next. I'm totally hooked on this series! I'll definitely be sharing this book around to all

The second installment of The Mafia Promise story, and continuing on from Pinky Promise, I was captivated from the start wanting to know how the story continued on, and it did not disappoint!
Seeing Joseph's vulnerabilities and growth throughout was refreshing. Adria is such a strong willed character.
I also love the friendships!!

The Double Pinky Promise by B.Shytle. Within the first 70 pages I wanted to DNF the book but I decided to continue reading giving it a chance because I don’t really like to DNF books. From then on the book, wasn’t too bad but it was not the best in my opinion.
I haven’t read the first book in the series, so I didn’t really understand/know the characters and how they are related and their hierarchy so maybe later in life, I’ll read that one then reread this one and see if I understand it better and like it better.
Another thing I didn’t like is the marriage proposal when he got shot! I understand why they do it but sometimes I feel like it’s not needed.

How did this book manage to be even better than the second one!!! I love how you see the relationship between Joseph and Adria really grow stronger! They’ve learned how to communicate their problems after every thing that has happened. The twist and turns of book 2 had me on the edge of my seat the whole time AND made me stay up past my bedtime reading this book lmao. the extended epilogue with Leo and Heidi made me a little emotional but I also do like that we got to see a little from their POV! Anyway on to book 3!!

Adria and Joseph go through a LOT in this one. It had me wondering if they were actually going to survive at all. I swear it's one thing after another. Adria is one tough cookie and she refuses to be anything less. I can't wait to see how things go in book 3!

Oh the trauma that Adria has gone through. My heart just broke for her. Please check TW as this book is a bit darker than the first. 😭 but still so amazing.
I don’t want to read the third book because I don’t want this series to end. I am obsessed!
