101 Web Freebies is a good reference book although somewhat dated. The book references Windows Vista, and Windows XP mostly with one mention of Windows 7. This is many generations behind the current version. The title is misleading because just about all the freebies are software items instead of tangible items. Perhaps the title should have indicated this by calling it 101 Software Freebies! In spite of the above, I still consider it useful.
Really great insight on many sites I've never ran across!
Very good suggestions! There are quite a few of them I am ready to get into right as soon as I finish this up! Some interesting things to look into...Thank you for suggestions that many of the sights I've never heard of! Looking forward to test them out!
I did not realize this e-book was 99 percent free computer program type stuff, or that it was written at least 20 yr ago, and much is out of date. Accurate title and date should be in plain view for buyers.
I thought it was physical items you could get for free. I didn't read the description. If you enjoy apps and programs for mostly your pc then you will enjoy this book.
