Founded in 2010, .: Literary & Visual Arts Journal is a diverse network and fellowship of artistry. From poetry and prose to sculpture and photography, .: provides a space for members of the NEIU community and beyond to showcase their creative talent and share their passion. We seek work from artists of all races, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age to submit work. We proudly accept our charge as the official literary and visual arts publication of Northeastern Illinois University. For many students and members of our community, .: is the first publishing experience of their artistic careers. We strive to find the best local visual artwork and literature, although our branches have extended beyond the Chicago scene. Besides publishing a stellar journal twice a year, we also take pride in networking with creative minds, assisting them in producing their best work, and keeping them inspired on their creative journeys.
