Ace and Gunnar

This was a dark, emotional book as well as a book about healing. Ace had been through so much and the idea of touch sent him into a tailspin. His brothers from the Ghost Born MC were busy with their lives and hadn’t noticed what Ace was going through. It was Gunnar who stepped up to help Ace. I loved watching the interaction between Ace and Gunnar. I’m looking forward to the next book from this author.

The characters of Ace and Gunnar grabbed me from their first page to the last. The fact that Ace was capable of being a rationale, relatively “normal” adult after his childhood is a testament to his strength and persistence, standing up and fighting for himself, no matter the odds. The fact he could not tolerate touching or being touched was so heartbreaking, especially when there must have been times he would have yearned for someone to hold him, to make him feel safe. His “brothers” loved him, but couldn’t give him the affection he deserved, for many reasons and on many levels. Being found by Gunnar did more than save his physical life, it saved his emotional and psychological life as well. He finally has someone he can touch and who can touch him. When he was taken, the only thing to save his sanity was the certainty that Gunnar would find him, no matter what.

I also felt for Jax. He loved Ace as much as he could love anyone, and was the one stable point in Ace’s life until he met Gunnar. Jax was as hard as it was possible to be, but he was soft for Ace and his partner Blakely, giving as much as he was capable of giving.

This series is complex, with multiple threads and stories hinted at with the characters that are sides in this book, but each have, or will have, a book of their own. The human traffickers are a consistent thread between the books, and I couldn’t help give a mental fist pump when they met their end.

It was very easy to get involved in this book and series, and I am anxious to read the books I haven’t yet, and to look forward to the next story. Action was fast-paced, there was suspense, revenge, sexy times for spice, horrible events for our character Ace, and soft, sensual, and emotional times for Ace from Gunnar. The two were perfect for each other, the missing half that made each other whole. This isn’t a long book, but definitely one to pull you in and spit you out, a bit drained, at the end, one I would recommend if you aren’t too bothered by dark themes. Do read the triggers, though, some are harsh.

Ace is the youngest of the Ghost Born MC, he was left to fend for himself is foster care after his brothers moved on. They come back for him when Jax gets out of prison to start the MC. Ace is not ready to be nice, he cannot stand for anyone to touch him. He is given the assignment to get rid of some bodies but not eating has him woozy and he hits his head and is out cold.

Gunner bought a cabin in the mountains after returning from overseas, he prefers his own company. He is out hunting when he hears someone grown, he finds him really cold and bleeding. He cannot leave him here to die, he bring him back to his cabin.

Gunner feels protective of him, wants to keep him but he must get him warm. This is a DDLB story with plenty of steam and drama, this story may be triggering for some for present and past abuse .

I loved this book! Great world building and wonderful characters. I was hooked to this story from the start. I was heartbroken for what Ace has been through, for some things that happen in this book. Gunner was the perfect match for him. Patient, caring, and protective. He essentially saved Ace's life- in more ways than one. This book was as much about healing as it was about love. I also really liked the supporting characters. The found family. The only thing I didn't care for was the instalove aspect. It made everything feel rushed. To fall in love with someone in two days after how realistic the whole beginning of the book was just made it feel off. But I still loved it. 5 stars.

I have been waiting for Ace/Babe's book from Agony and it was well worth the wait.

Like his brother's in the books before him, he has an "insta-love" connection when he meets his "one", being Gunner. They have both been shaped by their past, however fit each other perfectly. Unfortunately, things are not smooth sailing for them, and like all books in this series, it deals with dark and traumatic events.

I loved seeing more of the brothers and their partners from previous book, and I enjoyed how this book delved deeper into the bond between Jax and Ace.

I can't wait for the next book in the series.

What an amazing story of love, healing, and resilience! Babe: Ghost Born MC had me hooked from the first two pages. Ace and Gunner’s journey is full of raw emotion, passion, and unexpected twists that keep you turning the pages. The way T.O. Smith writes the inner dialogues and explores the deep connection between the characters is simply brilliant. You don’t need to read the previous books to fall in love with this one—it stands perfectly on its own. This book is a must-read for anyone who loves intense, heartfelt romance with a touch of danger!.

I am completely in love with the characters from Ghost Born MC!! Babe is Ace’s story and T.O. did not disappoint: finding his Papa is one of the most beautiful moments of the series!! Gunner’s heart is as big as he is and he’s not afraid to show Ace or anyone else how he feels. There’s danger, heartbreaking scenes, and soul shearing pain, but together they are each other’s strengths. I love the chemistry between them, the way they support each other, and their commitment to each other. It’s fascinating to see how these brothers interact with each other and their significant others!! I want more stories, soon hopefully!!

A Beautiful Forever From A Trauma Start
Ace is the youngest of the MC brothers; he’s had a rough life, so he’s sarcastic and bratty and he pushes people’s buttons to keep them at a distance. When on clean-up duty for the MC, one slip resulting in a concussion has him ending up rescued by Gunner, who fights demons of his own. This romance in this story is immediate - we’re talking insta-insta-lust/love- but this is far from a light and fluffy romance, as there’s plenty of dark to be dealt with. I really enjoyed Ace’s story - it’s a true trial-by-fire and survive story, high is uplifting all on its own. A great read.

I wondered where this story would go and for the most part really liked how it unravelled

I loved Gunner for Ace and how they instantly clicked. I adored how he saw through Ace’s behaviour to what he really needed.

I disliked the rest of the mc somewhat for how sidelined the had made Ace, given all they had given up for him, they seemed to quickly push him away when their partners came along

This was a really good one for T.O. Smith. I have yet to find one I do t like. I was a bit hesitant to read this one mainly because it’s an MM romance and I haven’t given that genre a chance really but I figured since I enjoy TO Smith’s books so much I’ll give it a go, this one was pretty good, the characters were good together and the storyline was well put together and the ending was well thought out. Good work. Looking forward to the next one.

Babe is the fifth book in the Ghost Born MC series. In this one, we see Ace, also known as Babe, find his Papa, Gunner, who will keep him safe and ready to defend his MC family. As the MC works to overthrow the human trafficking ring, this book is full of drama, steaminess, suspense, action, and tons of love. Babe: Ghost Born MC is the epitome of what family means and how family fits and works with us and even serves us as we traverse the good, the bad, and the ugly of this life. That is where Babe brings us in this series.

Wow!! This was a wonderful, fast paced, emotional rollercoaster. Ace was injured and in danger when Gunner finds him in the woods. Gunner takes him home and takes care of him, Gunner knows Ace is his from the second he sees him. When Ace is kidnapped Gunner will do anything to save him! Hot, steamy story with amazing chemistry, a loving, caring daddy, danger, suspense, heartbreakingly emotional twists and a beautiful HEA.

We get Ace's story with this book and if you have read the others, it is not a surprise that it is MM with a Daddy Dom kink. Ace is taking care of business for the MC when he is hurt in an accident and Gunner rescues him. Gunner is a war vet suffering from PTSD and has become a recluse in the woods. The two find solace in each other and are able to silence their traumas. This is an emotional read, some steam and a very strong OTT alpha protector who will do anything for the boy he has saved.

This is book 5 to this series and it’s best if you’ve read the books prior to this one just for back history. Ace is the youngest and the “Baby “ of the crew hence his road name Babe. He has suffered a ton of trauma in his life (lots of trigger warnings!!) but he still tried to do his part for the mc. Gunner is ex-military and values his quiet. But becomes extremely protective of Ace- even against his own family.

Ace had been through a lot that left hin distant to people and especially touch, BT when Gunner finds him and helps him heal, they heal more than just physical scars between them. When the end takes Ace, Gunner will go to any length to get him back but will anything e the same again? Well written emotional desires MM, MC romance. A great addition to the series.

Babe is a good, fast paced story about healing. Ace has had a tough go of it and his brothers seem to have been busy with their own lives to see that he's struggling. Gunner is the one who comes in to help him heal and learn how to live again. Their story is an emotional story and keeps you involved in their journey from start to finish.

Dang - this book tugged at every single heart string that I had and nearly destroyed me while reading it. I cried so many times over how badly Ace was and is being hurt. It wasn't easy to read his story, but I'm glad I did because it needed to be told. I'm so thankful that he fell into Gunnar's life and that he's now got a Papa to take care of him. That boy just needed someone to love him.

This novel is the story of the youngest in the MC, Ace. His troubled backstory plays a key role in this short but poignant addition to the series. This is MM (not surprising if you have read the other books in the series) and it is important to read the trigger warnings! Ace and Gunnar broke my heart a bit in their love of each other and Ace’s run in with the human trafficking ring….I just wish it had been longer!
