I just finished reading Mel Robbins’ The Let Them Theory and saw a lot of parallels with her book and this book. All essential tools that help us overcome our own ability to live a fulfilling life. In Lotardo’s case, the focus is on the workplace, but you could easily apply these concepts to day-to-day life. I highly recommend this book to anyone who feels stuck where they are in their career or has anxiety about shaking things up and doing something different with their life. I got laid off last year and would have loved to have read this book earlier, as I think it would have led me to my current path sooner.

A wonderfully practical manual for making work a more positive experience

Young workers, especially, will benefit hugely from following the advice in
“Leading Yourself.” The guidance is refreshingly uncomplicated. Yet I’m confident that anybody who applies even 10% of it will experience a boost in their workplace wellbeing and success.
