Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).

If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

Fácil, muy práctico, tremendamente útil y con un punto de humor. Me ha servido para refrescar conocimientos y poder comunicarme de forma sencilla. Cumple bien con su propósito.

I guess with iPhone apps like Duolingo & Google translate I just can not enjoy or use such a book. I can even hear the pronunciations of the words on the apps. Google translate even allow for offline viewing without a subscription. Sorry “German Phrases” maybe the language learning textbook is more handy. Since that book is more then just a terms booklet.

German Phrases for Dummies tries to be both a phrase book and a beginning German language book and doesn't really succeed at either. It has proven beneficial in teaching me just enough German to travel abroad, but I was really hoping for a simple list of useful sentences for someone who knows absolutely no German. It is organized well, with chapters for travel, shopping, emergencies, etc.—although I wish the section on dining had been compiled by someone with whom I had any tastes in common whatsoever. It would probably work best for someone who had taken a year of German in high school and needs to brush up on her vocabulary.
