India Notes is a dialogue between two wonderful visions of India, between two almost magically matching points of one from a Westerner in love with the country, and one from a local, perhaps the greatest Indian photographer, who spent his life reporting on this huge territory and its recent changes. It's about India in all its complexity, its contrasts, its immemorial culture, and its people.
Tiziano Terzani was an Italian journalist and writer, best known for his extensive knowledge of 20th century East Asia and for being one of the very few western reporters to witness both the fall of Saigon to the hands of the Vietcong and the fall of Phnom Pehn at the hands of the Khmer rouge in the mid-1970s.
