Such a sweet Christmas story! The X-Mas Tree packs a lot into such a short story - the book is only 27 pages long but it sure didn't seem that way - and the story is much more than I thought...very deep and had a lot of meaning. There's a bit of foul language, not too much and it seems to be used the most in one section, so I'm mentioning it if it's something you try to avoid. Overall, a prettty good story.
The father of the family works for a company that makes artificial Christmas Trees. His son decides he would like a real tree, so he goes to work at a tree lot. After, the boy brings the real tree home, he has a good talk with his father and learns some of the realities of life.
