The Billionaire's Most Unexpected Triplets

Rate this book
He’s the ruthless tyrant who practically runs this city,
He’s definitely not daddy material,
Too bad he’s about to have triplets!

I’ve always been the girl who played by the rules,
For one night only, Jack Leadsom made me forget all of that,
It was supposed to be just business, but things quickly got out of hand,
He had his fun — and I had mine — only for him to stab me in the back the moment the bed was cold.
Well, Jack’s about to get a taste of his own medicine,
’Cause I have three babies on the way, and a paternity test with his name on it…

I always knew having a family wasn’t for me,
I even went to extreme measures to make sure kids wouldn’t be on the agenda…
Now Leah’s telling me she’s having my triplets, and my world’s turning upside down,
I never expected this, I never signed up for it,
And we’ve been at each other’s throats since day one,
So why can’t I just turn around and walk away?

Torn on the rating again

He was such a jerk at the beginning, check through the whole book, and he o my changes in the last five percent of it but he did step up. I loved the names of the babies and the epilogue was very sweet. They were a different kind of couple but you could always feel the connection. She was feisty and I liked that. She stood up for herself and that was great. He was a playboy bachelor and never wanted commitment. I'm not sure he was even celibate during her pregnancy. I know there were two times he wasn't interested but it just never clarifies. She was of course. And he was happy about that. Of course. He was just such a jerk. I still liked it.

low commitment read here, but crazy plot twists made it memorable. ⭐️Billionaire Jack is an a@@. Leah hooks up with Jack and unexpectedly falls pregnant with triplets. Wow. I read the premise but was not prepared for a pregnancy after a condom and vasectomy failure! Of
course this supports Jack’s continued antisocial behavior 🫏🫏🙄 Leah is suffering from morning sickness in office trash cans, later she is trying to maneuver her XXXL bump all over the place. Could have used more descriptive smut to fill around the my babies daddies so rich but woe is me.

This was so bad that i had to write a review. The 'hero' is an out-and-out a*****e. Has not even 1 redeeming quality or scene. Yet the 'heroine' forgives him and takes him in. WHY!!
Seems like the answer is "because the author said so".
Whenever that's the way a book goes. there is simply no reason to read it

I didn’t like this story. This story is about two corporate executives that have a one night stand and Leah becomes pregnant with triplets. Jack is a jerk who is cruel. It was hard to read and I skipped through the book to see how it ended.

In hindsight, I don’t know why I thought this would be good.

•••

Possible Triggers - Parent Death

Tropes - Rich guy, Oopsie Babies, Enemies to lovers, workplace romance

•••

Tl;Dr - Jack tried to buy Leah’s struggling app. It has a solid user base but it has not been reaching its full potential and he wants to take it to new heights. Leah says no to the buy, but yes to a quality lay. Over them the weekend the board votes to sell anyway, because apparently that’s how business works. Jack then takes full creative control of the app moving forward and is very involved in day to day operations… which is strange because he’s the CEO of a tech conglomerate? How does he have time for this? Regardless, Leah winds up preggers with triplets, he laughs in her face, and then refuses to talk to her about them for the majority of her pregnancy. He shows up at the birth. Apparently he’s actually been in love with her the whole time. Wowza.

•••

The Characters -
Leah: She likes to cook and run her company. That’s about it.

Jack: He rude and grumpy with almost no redeeming qualities. He has a tendency to pout and brood like a toddler, which is strange because he’s in his 40s.

•••

My Thoughts - The progression of time made no sense. It seemed like she got her first scan at 4 weeks and found out about the triplets. Then another scan, 4 weeks later and they said “hey you wanna know the genders”? That’s not how that works. I’m not a baby expert but I know that much.

The book ends with an exchange of “I love you-s” despite the fact that they hooked up ONCE and have “hung out” TWICE throughout her entire pregnancy. They were contentious work place colleagues for the rest. This relationship is comically bad.

Leah seemed lame. Jack was terrible. I wish I had the willingness to DNF.

It Is Difficult to Escape Destiny -
Leah life was all about the company she started, so when Jack invited her to dinner with the premise of convincing her to sell, but they ended their time together with one heck of a memorable night. Whilst Leah thought their night would lead to something more, she was shocked to discover Jack had deceived her and taken over her company behind her back. Unfortunately, just as she resigned herself to her reality, she was thrown a curve ball that had life changing implications.

Even though Leah was apprehensive about telling Jack the news, the last thing she expected was the anger Jack directed towards her or the decision he took after. Fortunately, Leah was able to get the support she needed from her family and friends, whilst Jack on the other realised during their time apart, that he wanted more from her. As luck would have it, Jack made the decision to fight to be with Leah and the kids, so he could get the forever family he didn’t realise he actually wanted. This was a truly moving story, with engaging characters that worked their way into my heart, that you won’t want to miss out on reading.

Superb!

Leah and Landon story was surprisingly good. The characters build up was in depth. What I got from this was Landon not knowing how to receive or give love. Not knowing how to really communicate or show how to pursue someone who he actually was falling for. With his lack of love demonstration from his upbringing, namely by his father. Leah was the right woman for him to fall for because she was loyal and determined and showed she didn’t give up or lose hope just because everyone said something would fail. She saw that with faith there is always greatness in what most saw lost hope; you can see that with her strong desire to her company that everyone tried to discourage her to let go. Even though Landon was a jerk throughout this whole story he was trying his best in his own warped way. Leah’s good heart, strength and hopefulness helped him open up in the end. She didn’t shun him out but let him come to terms with himself and was open to enough to let him right his wrongs without holding resentment and hate. It’s the depth of the characters that spoke to me and shows forgiveness is often times underrated in today’s society. I really enjoyed this story. Simply Superb!! 🌟

This book was honestly just frustrating. There's an unexpected pregnancy trope which is fine, this one just wasn't good in my opinion. Jack, the MMC, and Leah, the FMC, hook up, and despite using a condom/ the MMC having a vasectomy 20ish years before, Leah gets pregnant. Jack is an asshole who screws Leah out of her business. He constantly says that he finds her annoying yet she some how wormed her way into his head.

Upon finding out she is pregnant, he treats her HORRIBLY. Even after he discovered that the babies were his, he continued to be a jerk until about a month before she gave birth. He takes her to one doctors appointment and buys her a house which I guess is a turning point in their relationship.

He quite literally doesn't decide he wants to be a family with Leah until moments before she gives birth. Despite being a douchebag for a vast majority of this book, Leah has had feelings for Jack the entire time and decides to take him back. Jack has apparently turned into a doting father and they get engaged in the epilogue at the triplets first birthday party

Jack is a ruthless, arrogant, tyrant, who practically runs the city, while Leah is sweet, feisty, and strong, and she runs her own business, and she has always followed the rules. When Jack takes Leah out to dinner, his intentions are to convivence Leah to sell her business, and they ends up sharing a hot 1-night stand. There are consequences to their night together, three of them, and Jack does not believe they are his. Will Leah be able to convince Jack the triplets are his?
This is a well written story which has family, friendships, deceit, challenges, anger, emotions, intrigue, truths, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, unpredictable, and steamy addictive page turner.

5th installment in the 'Olympus City Hunks' series. possibly my least favourite of this series. James is the CEO of a tech company who wants the app that Leah's company has developed. After her repeated refusal to sell him her company he wines and dines her as a last ditch attempt to change her mind; this results in an expert seduction after an excess of alcohol. I think what I really disliked about this story is what a total a$$hole Jack is through most of the story, especially in buying Leah's precious company out from under her and then refusing to take responsibility for the result of their night together. He does the 'right thing' in the end, but much too long in coming to convince the reader he's changed into a better person!

Leah's start up company needs some more money to expand but she doesn't want to sell the company to Jack Leadsom's company. She agrees to a dinner to discuss it but makes it clear she isn't selling. There is a spark between them which results in them spending the night together. But then Leah discovers that Jack has persuaded her shareholders to sell the company to him and she has lost control of her company. Now she is working for Jack! Things get more complicated when she discovers that she is pregnant and Jack denies that they are his as he had a vasectomy years ago.

I enjoyed this story.

don’t waste your time

Idk how this book has gotten more than 4 stars, first we start with a boring first chapter. Why is Lea crying when the stranger was saying hi to someone else, already making the character weak crying because she feels lonely?! Once the company is sold she’s acting like a child, demanding stuff like if she’s the CEO those chapters she was annoying. We have no character development whatsoever, her pregnancy was just a dull moment as a reader you know she was going to get pregnant by reading the preview, so you’re waiting to that climax in the book! What do we get? The most boring and untaclimatic chapter!
Don’t waste your time or money on this book.

The characters lacked romantics development. It literally went from the ML rejecting the FL and their babies to all of a sudden he realizes he wants them and they exchange “I love you’s” without ever really spending any time together outside of a few events. Maybe this was also skewed by the weird time skips where in two skips of 4 weeks each, we went from pre-pregnancy to 6 months pregnant. Overall it felt like the whole book was focused on the ML’s inner turmoil with his refusal to be a father and less on the development between the two characters. And then the author just jumps into the HEA.

The Billionaire's Secret Most Unexpected Triplets. (Olympus City Hunks).

Wow that was a wild ride of emotions. I loved this story,so like life itself. How and downs with an arrogant are hole thinking he is the only person that matters in this world despite his feelings, and then to shockingly e told he is going to be a father of triplets no less. Having had a vasectomy years ago didn't think it possible so paternity test proved him wrong, plus he is the only one she has ever been with.
What a grand story! I recommend reading this book for sure.

Thank you for writing this Layla Valentine.

A cute read

The H wants to buy the h’s company, she declined his offer. At dinner, they feel their chemistry and have a one night stand which leads to a pregnancy. The H doesn’t believe he is the father because he had a vasectomy 20 years ago. He was arrogant, ruthless and a butthole at times. He abandoned his h during her pregnancy. The h was feisty, strong and sweet, she loved the H and wanted to have a family with him and their triplets. They had to overcome several obstacles before they found their HEA. Great epilogue.

puff and fluff

Naught but a puff of fluff.
So the event is heralded in the title, but what a waste.
the male lead is bizarrely unhinged in his reactions and the author garbled in describing his thoughts.
PLOT SPOILER;

THIS JERKOFF keeps being a beast until a labour declaration and reconciliation.
wow, a pregnancy book trope where they aren't together the entire time?
totally obviating the entire point of the book, and stretching incredulously too far.
no way would I forgive asinine behaviour when he's being cold the entire 9months.
hard pass on this anti hero

Enemies to a triple more HEA

The Billionaire's Most Unexpected Triplets is the fifth book in the Olympus City Hunks series. This story find Leah and Jack at more than a little odds when he wants her company and she is not willing to sell. That starts him on the path of going directly to the shareholders and the games beginning in this enemies to more romance. I enjoyed this easy read with a lot of sizzle and pop. A great addition to the series.

I Enjoyed It Very Much

I didn’t think I could like. He was such a pompous jerk. He treated Leah terribly in the beginning. When Leah found out she was pregnant. She told Jack. He tried to deny it. He really couldn’t wait to laugh in her face. That was until the DNA results come back. That was one of the best part.
He than he goes right back into jerk mode.
But, that was until he had to drive Leah to her ultrasound that’s when things kind of started to change.

I found this to be a quick and easy read with a sprinkle of angst. I enjoyed the first half of the book however I did find that towards the end I felt it was rushed. Despite this I enjoyed the enemies to lovers aspect and how feisty and strong-headed Leah was!💛

Don't waste your time with this one. Such juvenile, 1-dimensional writing. Awful characters. Jack is a big jerk, screws her out of her business and I have no idea why Leah stays working for him. She doesn't leave because she says she has a successful career. She does not! He stole her company and she has no role at all in it. He LAUGHS at her when she tells him about the pregnancy but then shows up at the birth! What an awful plot.

One Night Leads to Triplets

Leah and Jack have one night together before he forcibly takes over her company. Result? Triplets despite the vasectomy he got 20 years ago.

The two have a hard time reconciling their differences once Jack is convinced that he did Father the triplets.. (Leah's interfering friend Taylor doesn't help matters. I wanted to slap her.)

HEA following the expected angst,

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. The attraction is strong and so is the love they deny. It comes down to the wire but Jack makes his feelings known to Leah and they are very happy together with their family. Overcoming past hurts can be hard but the effort is worth it.

Something Doesn’t Feel Right

The Billionaire’s Most Unexpected Triplets is an engaging read. Leah is a strong, independent female. Jack is a man who finds himself through love and family. New author for me. Will definitely read more of her work.
