I met Jewel last summer but only more recently learned she was an author. I don’t remember how, just know that I didn’t learn directly through her! I added her books to my Amazon wishlist and received this one for Christmas. Lemme tell you what. It took everything I had in me to not stay up all night as I soon as I cracked it open during an overnight pumping session. I had to force myself to close it and put it down each time so I could get some rest. I loved the writing. I loved the story. I loved that it was local. And I’m not saying that just because I know her! I really want to break my rule of not buying new books myself and order Azalea Cafe after enjoying Beach Days so much.
