Bob Singleton is back in Dead Drop an new Rogue Warrior book by Ian Loome. I find this series entertaining and well written there is only the small thing of the use of this amazing centerfire cartridge that Bob uses. Give it a rest, most ammunition is centerfire and it doesn't make it extra lethal. I know it is not easy with all the weapon details but using this term as some sort of special kind of ammunition instead of mentioning the things that actually sets his gun apart from others is not helping the reader. I try not to pick on gun details but sometimes it's so wrong I can't help myself. I did however enjoy the book and the ongoing story of Bob trying to stay under the radar from his former employers when at the same time he gets involved in different kinds of trouble along the way. I already am curious to see what will happen in the next book in this series. I can recommend the works of Ian Loome. I also must thank Inkubator Books and Netgalley for giving me this advance copy.

My first and not my last book by Ian Loome. This book was packed full of action and will he or won't he. Enjoyable from start to finish.

Psychotic Russian mobsters get what’s coming to them from Bob. Team 7 leaders are still after him, even sent a freelance mercenary to try and dispatch him. It didn’t work out well for that guy.

Bob is back in action and now Memphis is going to feel his wrath.

Bob just wanted to look in on an old friend and boxing coach. But once again his covert black-ops past has caught up with him and friend is kidnapped in an effort to leverage Bob into taking out a Russian Mobster.

Alexi wants Victor take out so that he can get the business and also the girl - never mind what the girl herself actually wants! So now Bob has to dodge Russian Mobsters, the FBI and a very irate friends wife!

I really enjoy this series, Bob just wants a simple life but fate seems to want him to keep getting involved in one high octane situation after another! I was happy to see Bob calling on the talents of some of his former team-mates - he's no longer the lone wolf he once was. I did get a bit lost when the narrative sunk to much into "guns n ammo" talk but otherwise this was a fast paced, well plotted thriller.

This is another terrific fast-paced and action-packed read. Bob is in Memphis and meets an old friend which sets off a series of chaotic when an ex-Russian soldier sees him and sets out to settle some scores. Throw in more Russian mobsters, corrupt police, undercover agents and innocent civiliants, lots of guns, drugs, and you have all the ingredients of a thrill of a read.

His old colleagues send out yet another resource to take him out. Trouble seems to follow Bob whereever he goes and long may it continue so we get to read what situation he lands himself in next. As the pace never relents, I find myself reading quicker and quicker.

This series has consistently delivered entertainment and quality writing, and the latest installment is no exception. I relished the twists and turns in the continuing story of Bob, as he strives to stay off the radar from his former employers, all while finding himself entangled in various troubles. The book is a thrilling, fast-paced, and action-packed ride that held my attention throughout. Already, my anticipation is piqued, wondering about the developments that will unfold in the next book of this series. Without hesitation, I recommend delving into the compelling works of Ian Loome for a gratifying reading experience.

Bob Singleton has now arrived in Memphis but from the time he arrives at a gym to retrieve a key to the time he leaves, he is fighting or working at getting his friend out of being kidnapped. It starts simple but this book is go, go, go from start to finish. When a Russian sees Bob and remembers him from a mission that Bob did and Bob let him live, now he wants Bob to take out another Russian mobster the head guy and while doing so he takes Bob’s friend. This is not so simple because he has stumbled upon an F.B.I. investigation and then the people after Bob now have sent someone after him as well. There is plenty of action and a good story to keep you interested in this book. Good characters and very much worth the read. I received this book from Netgalley.com

a tormented soul

Bob is just trying to survive and maybe make amends. Somewhere along the way trouble always finds him. An old friend and an old enemy cross paths and Bob has to save one while being blackmailed by the other. Then unscrupulous government officials hear about him and send someone to eliminate Bob. Everyone thinks they are smarter than Bob but he saves the friend kills to people who needs killing but the government isn’t about to let him rest because of their own secrets.

I enjoyed this book. It figures the typical military vet who trying to do good but everything goes cockeyed. I like how the characters are developed, you get a good sense of who they are and feel for them. I particularly liked Norm and his wife. The action scenes feel real like they. Could have happened. I do feel sad for Bob as nothing is really resolved for him and he doesn’t know what to do. #DeadDrop #NetGalley

Another fun fast paced read in the Bob Singleton series. The story follows Bob as he tries ro stay off the radar and avoid the CIA, seeing an old friend. Trouble from his past follows Bob and drags him and his friend into it.

A fast paced story with lots of action. It is easy story to follow if you have not read any of the other stories in the series. Looking forward to more books from the author.

Bob Singleton thought his past as an assassin for the CIA was over until his past catches up with him in Memphis. A former Russian spy recognizes Bob from his former CIA days and is trying to kill Bob to finish an old score. Alexi kidnaps a friend of Bob's and offers to make a swap. Bob has to kill an enemy of Alexi named Victor in order to save his friend. This is the third book in the series and it's amazing.

Trouble seems to find Bob no matter where he goes. The past always has a way of coming back and yeah biting you in the rear. Bob is an amazing guy just trying to live his life but unfortunately his past won’t let him. Ex employers with a hit on him and the Russian Bratva wanting him, how’s he going to get through all this. I like Bob and I’m curious to see what kinda trouble finds him next.

I'm entertained by Bob's escapades and the way he kicks a$$ and doesn't bother w/ names if you hurt his family or war buddies he'll lay a world of hurting on you. Wherever Bob Singleton goes trouble is sure to follow and he ends up in some real messes that are intriguing, suspenseful and thrilling.

Action mystery Book 3

Enjoyed the character Bob but adding so much F words was unnecessary. Then the elderly ladies Fn and the story goes off course. A well placed curse word once in a while, maybe...
I read the 2 previous books but may not proceed to book 4.

👎 Amateur hour. Unreadable from page 97. When you pull the trigger on an empty gun, the slide will NOT go back and forwards.
