The Plot:
Lillian and Derek are coworkers and rivals. Although, the rivalry seems to be more one sided. After the Super Bowl LVIII Lillian and Derek both decide to go away for the week of Valentines. Lillian decides to go to Trunk Bay Island, a secluded BDSM lifestyle resort. While Derek is heading to what he believes is a relaxing resort set up by his older brother, also on Trunk Bay Island. These two not only get stuck on the same plane, side by side, but get placed in the same cabin! Also imagine Dereks shock when he gets to the island and realizes his brother is playing a prank on him sending him to a s3x island. Emotions get riled up when Lillian displays herself to the island during demostraciones and Derek realizes he has a thing for his coworker.
I do have one complaint, THIS WAS NOT NEARLY LONG ENOUGH! It feels slightly rushed, but thus is a novella. I wish we got to know Dereks answers to the survey he took. I would genuinely like a full length novel about this couple. I am also disappointed we did not get to see the Manhunt play out. I really like reading this in books.

Derek and Lillian are co workers and s working on major ad campaign for the Super Bowl. They have always been rivals so when they are all gathered to see what team's ad airs there is obvious tension in the air. Maybe a bit of undeniable sexual tension between these two but regardless tension is undeniable. Their boss comes into the room and decides to turn it all into a health competition between both teams. Both teams are taking a week long vacation but if the winning teams ad airs and it goes viral that group’s week long vacation will turn into a three week vacation. But you will have to guess who the winner is, no spoilers here.
Lillian is off to her vacation, in the airport she spots him, yes her work nemesis Derek is at the airport at the same time. While they maybe rivals they are both clearly attracted to one another. D. Williams sure knows how to convey all the sexual tension that these two are radiating. It is truly undeniable. So when a lit of coincidences and a crazy prank bring these two together closer than ever sparks are sure to fly. But can these two spend a week together in Paradise and deny the attraction and sexual chemistry? More importantly can they go back to work denying that attraction as well as forget their incredible week together?
If BDSM, enemy’s to lover’s, spiciness, and it’s just sex turned to romance is your jam then this book is one you are going to want to get your hands on, and get lost in an amazing story that D. Williams is so amazing at giving to us.

3.5 stars. This short story is dual POV, well written but desperately in need of a proofreader, and a sweet and spicy, rival coworkers to lovers, older woman(Lillian)/younger man (Derek), BDSM contemporary romance. I empathised with Lillian’s frustration and enjoyed seeing her push Derek’s limits. I chuckled at Derek’s reactions to everything at the resort, given he hadn’t expected to be in such a location. I enjoyed Lillian’s confidence and sensual enjoyment of experiences. I enjoyed their building intimacy and Derek’s determination for a real relationship.

Who gets it? Of course he does! Lillian is off for some rest and relaxation without a care in the world, until she sees him. It can't be, how could he be here on her plane and then at her resort.

They both work very hard to get one over the other until they can't fight it any longer.

Another well written story. This one is a enemies to lovers story. Who doesn't love a good story like that. A contest at work turns them into rivals. Where Derek wins and takes off on vacation. He meets none other then his work rival Lillian. They seem to have ended up at the same place. I will leave at that. This is a great story although a short read that I highly recommend. Loved it!!!!

As always I’m in love with D. Williams writing style. She knows how to write downright dirty couples. I can’t speak highly enough about her books. If you wany your spice with some added in story then just download this book!.

This enemies to lovers story features rivals Lillian and Derek involved in a contest at work. Derek wins and takes off on vacation. On the airplane he comes across Lillian. They seem to be heading to the same location. A lot of revelations happen.

I thought there would be more switching action. They go to a bdsm resort but there's not a lot of it in there and I think the newbie factor could've been explored more. Never got to see her as a domme. But then she's submissive but with no real explanation. I wanted to love it but I didn't. Sorry.

I'm currently halfway through this short book and have already tripped over 8 different misspelled words. Some of them are ones that a spell check would have caught. I like the story so far, but the editing needs some work.

3 stars I guess…..idk started quick and ended abruptly. I don’t know how I feel about this one there was no real plot with it and although it was supposed to be BDSM it was very surface level.
