Finishing a series like this is always bittersweet.
I am so happy I got to the end of their story and I got to see their story play out, and I’m so happy I got to see the ending in this series, but also I’m so sad, because I got to the end, and don’t get to binge read these characters anymore.
Morally grey characters have always been my favorite when it comes to romance and fantasy books, and it took me a bit to catch on while reading this series that the FMC is the morally grey character, with her teddy bear MMC.
You don’t really get to see women being the morally grey characters in the standard trope, and it was so refreshing to see.
They burn bridges and they say what they need to say, they become vulnerable while also being complete bad a@$es.
The spice in this book was a bit less than the others, but in the scenes you do get it’s really good.
If you love amazing storylines, fantasy, strong female leads and teddy bear men, I highly recommend this book and this series.
It is written so beautifully and I just can’t handle how much I loved this entire series.
Read it.

Conqueress was such a beautiful conclusion to The Crymzon Chronicles. I was so sad for it to end. However, I loved the way it ended! This is definitely a 5 star read with just enough spice! In this series you get a morally grey FMC and a MMC that is so sweet and fluffy and I absolutely loved the switch up. It was so nice to have a badass female lead for a change. The plot twists throughout the series were genius. This is a super quick read and so captivating from book one until the last page of book four!

I was so happy to finally been able to read the ending of the Crymzon chronicles, and yet so sad to. Because now I have to say goodbye to all these wonderful characters that grew a place in my ❤️.
I loved every minute of it! It was so so so good again!
If you read all the previous books, then now you can see it all come together.
I love how you can read things from different points of view. It makes the story interesting and you get more insight in the characters.
It was a rollercoaster of a ride. It was really a grand finale to a wonderful series.

A Banging Conclusion to the Crymzon Chronicles

First of all, I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to the author C.K. Franziska, for generously providing me with a free advanced reader copy. This review is entirely voluntarily, and I want to emphasize that it truly reflects my genuine emotions and thoughts about the story.

Star rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, Spice rating 🌶️🌶️(½)

Conqueress stands as an extraordinary conclusion to The Crymzon Chronicles. The enthralling
adventures in Escela had me captivated from start to finish. The seamless blend of fantasy and romance, the multiple POV’s, and the intricate worldbuilding established in previous installments came together in this final chapter, offering readers a satisfying conclusion to the series. The author crafted a compelling plotline that not only met but exceeded my expectations, leaving me thoroughly impressed.

Soulin's redemption journey, a narrative I had eagerly anticipated since the beginning, surpassed all hopes. Witnessing her transformation into a loving and relatable character was truly impressive, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in her growth. The apex of events, especially tying back to earlier books, and her evolution into a complex yet fascinating queen were standout moments. However, I yearned for more scenes of Khaos and Soulin together in Conqueress.

Admittedly, I initially despised Avira's character in Conqueress, finding her motivations unconvincing. Yet, as the plot unfolded, the author skillfully crafted her into a remarkable villainess, and her storyline became more understandable by the end. The interconnectedness of characters and events held me spellbound, and the build-up to the finale took me on an emotional rollercoaster in the best way possible.

Bidding farewell to the series carries a bittersweet tinge, but I eagerly anticipate the author's future works. Conqueress left me yearning for more, and being part of the ARC team was a genuine pleasure. Once again I’d like to thank the author for the opportunity to delve into Conqueress ahead of its release date. I'm eager for new readers to discover the magic within The Crymzon Chronicles.

Conqueress is the final book in The Crymzon Chronicles. I've read all four books and they are all 5 ⭐ reads. Conqueress wrapped up the series nicely. The character building and worlds created are wonderful. C.K. Franziska has a beautiful imagination. It's refreshing to see such strong women as lead characters. There is magic, war, love and just enough spiciness to be intriguing in this series. The fantasy world's are described beautifully...you can see it as you read. I can see this as a great movie with lots of special effects. Don't miss out...pick up the series....you'll love it.

Loved this book (actually the whole series!) The author created an amazing world and I loved all the characters. There were fantastical creatures as well. This is a great story of inner turmoil, magic, heartache, love, war, revenge, lost past, hidden identity, sacrifice, and unexpected connections.

What a final book! This had me on the edge of my seat the whole book. We had a character do a complete 180 in personality. Her normal sweet innocence demeanor turned into one full of vengeance and a struggle with her new powers. The build up to the big battle was so good. The emotions I felt during this book. A series I will definitely recommend and go back and reread

'My death will never be your burden.'

The end of an era. This was a very fun series and u feel like I was able to get to know the characters pretty well (still have a very strong dislike for bitch boy Cyrus but that's neither here nor there, she just could have done better).

There ended up being 3 FMCs in this series who each went on their own interconnected journeys and I will admit that I did not like one of them for this entire book, the power trip she was on is insane when she was stealing someone else's power in the first place 😂.

The last 2 chapters felt a little rushed for me and confusing as the main couple reunited the MMC had no memories but for the ones planted to make him hate his queen but within a page he could remember people and events and wasn't angry anymore?? Yes idk. Other than than I think the whole series tied up all the love ends beautifully and I did have a good cry at 2 separate points, which is a sign of a very good book 👌🏻.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!

I picked up this series because I saw a tiktok of the very beautiful special edition omnibus and I realised I hadn't read this yet. I went in blind because I didn't take any time to read the blurb or any comments about it. And I do not regret it....this series was next level.

Monstress - all through this book I kept questioning how this person could be so horrible. She has no redeemable qualities except for a few hints here and there about positive things done. This book is a rollercoaster in the best possible way.

Huntress - again this woman is bada** she emulates girl power and after reading monstress you can see why she would want to assassinate her. But its also clear her father was pulling her strings and made her into a weapon. Devanna is my favourite character across the series because you can properly relate to why she might succumb to these more destructive behaviours.

Otyx- this story takes place completely in the underworld and you don't meet any of the "normal" characters from the first 2 books. But I'm so glad I read this before the final book because it gave a insight into Aviras personality. You spend your time wondering why she has colour when every other soul doesn't. The twists and turns in this book are just as good as the first 2 books.

Conquress- this is the final book in the series and it doesn't disappoint...all the way through I just wanted to snap Aviria out of the sins that have her in their clutches. You finally see that actually soulin does actually have redeemable qualities even though the things she's done are horrendous. Devanna is the only character I feel lost some of her bada** personality. But you can also see why after all she's been through. But this series ends in a "kind of" happily ever after with some sadness Mixed in.

Overall I would recommend this series over and over again. Every book was 5 stars and the world building is amazing.

Mesmerizing. The Nations within the World of Escela are richly detailed by descriptions that make you feel as if you can truly see them. The story of Conqueress is a relatable embellishment of the actions of one who has been deeply hurt and betrayed. The emotional upheaval is responsible for so much death and destruction as she flexes her power to hurt others in retaliation. Nations join forces however and all but defeat her as they defend their world. Losses are severe though and those left behind have very mature approaches to moving toward the future.

This pulled me in and didn’t let go. Fast paced, superbly detailed both physically and emotionally. All the feels are here and you might just shed a few tears along the journey.

Going in with heartbreak in the first chapter. I knew it was coming, I knew the details would unfold of that moment. But I still wasn’t prepared, for the whole book!!! Avira, how I loved her, when now, I loathe her. Or do I? Idk!
This book mesmerized me, I had no clue what to expect next. Each chapter switching povs leaving me with questions had me swallowing the book in no time. The tension and anticipation to know what was going to happen took me over. I hated finishing this series, I’m not sure what to do now! I loved seeing how each relationship finished, to see who lives and dies. This series will always be a top 5 for me.

I can’t thank the author enough for creating such an amazing world with strong female characters that speak to the inner most part of me.

This book perfectly wraps up this series. I laughed, I cried, I re read to make sure I didn’t misunderstand what I thought I read (those twists really got me) and then I cried some more.

With multiple POV you are kept on your toes while still being taken along and the character development came full circle.

10/10 recommend for everyone 💜

A beautifully written book with a badass morally grey main FMC that is strong as hell and won’t let anyone stand in her way! It all started off with a heartbreak I knew was coming yet still I was not prepared for! The pace of the story picked up quite quickly as I was hit with action and suspense from the beginning with fantastic world building and multiple POV. This was definitely an adventure I loved reading it but I am sad to see it end!

Wow! This book was such a well done conclusion. I was thrilled to end the Crymzon Cronicles. In this series you see a trope that I LOVEEE, it’s morally grey character FMC, and a lovely MMC. I went through a lot of emotions in these books, I’m so glad to read it! This last one was a quick read, I took a lot of time to start it, but once I did it was really fast paced. It was a incredible journey!

I thought that Otyx would be my favorite…before I read Conqueress! It was a wonderful culmination of the first three books that tied everything up neatly. I laughed, I cried, and I fell in love with the characters all over again. It spoke to the idea that the good can fall, and that those fallen can rise up again and be redeemed. I highly recommend the whole series!

This series will forever hold a special place in my heart. Queen Soulin is one of my favorite of all time characters and I love her idgaf attitude about other peoples opinions.

I just finished Conqueress about 10 minutes ago and I’m still speechless. Perfect ending to a unique story.

If you loved, or related to Nesta from ACOTAR - read this series. Sprint… don’t walk.

Let me start off by saying this series was more than I ever could have expected it to be. Yes, I didn't fully go in when an open mind, but that's totally on me. C. K. Franziska gave me a new look into this genre of books I want to expect. With this being the end of the series, I must say it's worth it to read. This book did get me in my feelings, and I was shocked cause I'm not one to generally bawl my eyes out over a book. Yet here I am with tissues trying to wrap my head around all the emotions I went through. Phenomenal wok C. K. Franziska and can't wait to see what you stories you bring us next.

Where do I even begin?!

Conqueress was a beautifully written ending to The Crymzon Chronicles. I was super sad for it to end but it was a bittersweet ending! All of the twist and turns left me on the edge of my seat. I loved every minute of this series! The hidden redemption and self-sacrifice this book had was amazing.

I really hope to see more from these characters in the future otherwise, I am happy with how it ended.

I truly enjoyed the last book of this series! I got to see the FMC finally break down her walls & show who she really was on the inside. This isn’t your typical FMC who depends HIGHLY on the MMC to win the day. She is MORALLY GREY, strong, bad ass, who isn’t afraid to do what needs to be done. If you enjoyed TOG - meaning the strong FMC, fantasy based , adventure, danger lurking at every corner.. pick this up!! There is some spice but not a lot.

Spice: 🌶️🌶️

Conqueress was absolutely fantastic! It will definitely give you all the feels. With action, love, revenge, loss and little bit of spice. The Crymzon Chronicles is a rollercoaster of a series that always leaves you on the edge of your seat but this was the best way to end the series. I will definitely be rereading the Crymzon Chronicles and would absolutely recommend it to everyone.
