When you know, you know....

Wall Street Journal and USA Today Best Seller L. Wilder brings you a new addition to the Satan’s Fury MC-SG series.

We met by chance.
It was just a random hook-up.
No strings attached.
That was supposed to be the end of it.

Only it wasn’t.
I couldn’t explain it.
There was something about her that I just couldn’t shake.
Her touch haunted me, and I couldn’t stop myself from wanting more.
But I knew nothing about her.
I didn’t even know her name.

The timing couldn’t have been worse.
Things at the club had taken a turn, and powers were shifting.
Everything hung in the balance.
Still, she invaded my thoughts.

As fate would have it, our paths crossed again.
And this time, I was determined to make her mine.

Rooster is a standalone MC romance that shows love can heal even the deepest wounds. There are some heavy topics in this story, but rest assured, the HEA will have you begging for more. No cliffhanger and no cheating. Enjoy the ride!

Rooster and Maggie

I have loved the men in Satan’s Fury MC and Rooster was no different. It was only a one-night stand, until it wasn’t. The way Rooster couldn’t let go of the feelings he had for Maggie made my heart swoon. He and Maggie were made for each other. Don’t get me wrong because it wasn’t all sunshine and roses because with Ms. Wilder’s books there is always drama with plenty of steam mixed in. I can never get enough of the men from Satan’s Fury MC and I always look forward for the next book in this series.

So I changed my rating to three stars after thinking about this book for a bit. We have Maggie who is a single mom and Rooster who meet and hook up in the movie theater bathroom. Let’s think about that for a moment. No movie theater bathroom that I know of is private enough to have sex in. They had sex on the counter, anybody could’ve walked in. They didn’t go into the bathroom thinking they were going to have sex. He followed her into the ladies room. Movie theater bathrooms are cavernous and no way they would’ve been able to lock a door unless it was a stall door, and that wasn’t the case here. But whatever.

Let’s move onto the kids she has an 11-year-old and a 12-year-old. They didn’t even blink when Mom suddenly started dating, barely put up a fuss when they meet the new guy, and were totally excited to move in after only dating a few months. Now I was raised by single mom and I was a single mom myself. I don’t know of any kid of a single parent that doesn’t push boundaries and buttons at least a little bit, either with their parent and/ or the boyfriend/girlfriend at some point.

Now let’s move onto ex-husband. He was a total douche bag as they tend to be in these books. I expected some blowback after Rooster took him back to the clubhouse, but that just seemed to go away and everything seemed to be wrapped up in a nice little bow, A-Okay. I was a little disappointed in that.

And then there’s the ongoing drama with the Bruton situation. These books just seem to be getting more and more violent as we go. They say they have lines that they don’t want to cross, meaning like sex trafficking, kid, trafficking, etc…but they’re killing mass quantities of people. And then going home to their wife and kids like it’s nothing. They are no different than any of these other people. In my opinion it’s getting a little out of hand for just your average MC book. And that kind of wrapped up nicely too.

The addition of Bennett was a little weird, but I’m assuming that it’s going to be a spin off series. Not sure if I’ll read it or not at this point. This book left me a little disappointed. It was well written, as they all are hence the three stars.

There was definitely a lot going on in this story. The love story was top notch. The back story was crazy good with some intense moments. This wonderful author never writes a bad book. So I always look forward to reading about these alpha biker who find their downfall in a sweet beautiful woman. Rooster and Maggie will make your heart melt.

Wow. I absolutely loved this book. It had you hooked from beginning, and had some shocking things. I couldn't put book down once started.

I loved Rooster and Maggie together, they met a while back but it seemed to not of been their time. Maggie has a busy life with her business and kids. But once they see each other again, they couldn't stay away from each other. Rooster always has his club but he finds something else in Maggie and family.

I can't wait for more.

** Review to come... I need a minute **

OK I know that was longer than a minute, but this one hit all the marks for me!

Single mom trying to grow and better herself has a wild night with a bad boy who she can't get out of her head.

The amount of underlying healing this has makes me so happy.

Rooster and his patience of a Saint but also the brash needs that we expect from one of Ms. Wilders Bikers was such a perfect combination.

The balance in this book and the love behind it makes it a 10/10 for me. ❤️❤️

Rooster is the fifth book in the Satan’s Fury MC Second Generation. This is Ronin and Maggie’s story, told in dual POV.

Rooster wasn’t born into the club but they are his family. He loves his brothers, he’s loyal, hardworking and will do anything to keep his club safe. He’s watched his brothers find and fall in love with their ol ladies but thought they were crazy, and couldn’t understand how they could let their lives get turned upside down. That was until a casual hookup and a chance meeting had him realizing just how easy it had been for them.

Maggie is a single, hardworking mom of two with a clingy, cheating ex-husband that just won’t leave her alone. She is determined to make the best life for her kids and does everything she can to make sure they are taken care of. She doesn’t date but one night, while her kids are with her dad, her loneliness gets the best of her. She has no idea that night would be the best thing that ever happened for her and her kids.

I absolutely loved Ronin and Maggie together! We get to see a more serious side to Rooster in this book, and it just really brings his character full circle. Maggie tends to get stuck in her head and I just adore the way he doesn’t let her stay there. The little things he does to show he’s there for her and her kids and how protective he is of all them.

Between the action, drama and love this book is chocked full of, I couldn’t put it down. I had to know what was goin got happen next. As always, the secondary characters lend to the story in the best ways. I love seeing past couples interact with the new characters and catching up with what going on with them.

Thank you Ms. Wilder for another amazing read! I can’t wait to see what comes next for the Fury! I know it will just as great as all the others!

Maggie and Rooster's story is a whirlwind that takes us on a bit of a wild ride. Maggie is a newly divorced mother of two, trying to make things the best for her kids and meeting Rooster is not on the list. But she can't forget him, and when fate steps in a second time, Rooster is determined to not let this chance slip by. But things are heating up for the club in more ways than one, can Rooster prove to Maggie that he is worth trusting or will her fears keep them apart?

This was a good addition to the series, we get some great drama, danger, a bit of violence, laughs, and some nice naughty moments. I have a feeling something big is on the horizon for the club, and I can't wait to see what it is. I give Rooster and Maggie 4 stars.

This is book 5 of the Satan's Fury MC SG series with Rooster and for us long time lifers of L.Wilder we have been patiently waiting for this book and she did not disappoint us either. Rooster has never settled down and most likely probably wouldn't of have ,but when you meet the woman who is made for you , it's time to join the rest of his Brothers in the settled down part of life. Ronin was at the movie theater when he saw the woman of his dreams ,but can one taste of her be enough for him? Maggie is divorced with 2 kids and a crazy ex ,but meeting a man at the movie theater and having the best experience in her but is it enough? With the club dealing with backlash from Burtons death who is going to try to take them down and will her crazy ex try to destroy her and hurt her? Can Ronin protect them and his club ? Great story. Its compelling and tantalizing and captivating and action packed so much more .Bravo L.Wilder on another fantastic book!

LOVED this awesome story!!!!

Rooster and his Maggie are the awesome staring couple of this 5th book of the Satan’s Fury MC 2nd gen. I love 2nd gen books done right and this one fits the bill.
I’m so ridiculously happy Rooster got the HEA he deserves.
Maggie and her kids are amazing. The perfect fit for Rooster.
Of course, there is some MC drama, a little personal mystery/intrigue/drama, plenty of super spicy good stuff and it all culminates with a phenomenal epilogue. I loved this story from start to finish.

Great book and series

It’s been a while since I took a weekend to just read and that’s what I did in this Holiday weekend. Roosters book was great! He always been hilarious in the past books but we saw him on another light in his book. The writing was great although I did notice similar descriptions in the spicy scenes. But honestly it’s not a big deal. I would’ve loved to see him become a Father and maybe interactions with his family. Can’t wait for the next book!

Book five in the Satan's Fury MC Second Generation series. Rooster and Maggie has a one night stand. No names, no complications. She just got out of a messy marriage. All she wanted was one crazy night. When her car breaks down. Rooster is there to save her. Second chance with Maggie. Rooster is not letting her walk away again. Rooster changes her mind about not wanting a relationship. Now he just needs to convince her that she was made for him.

L. Wilder has once again given us a book filled with love, laughter, intrigue, suspense and the feeling that family is everything.  I loved Ronin and Maggie's story. Their journey was an emotional roller coaster but love prevailed.. The perfect way to described  the Fury is "We were family, through and through, and together, we would face whatever came our way, and we would prevail—just like we’d been doing from the very beginning".  I am looking forward to the new Satan's Fury Little Rock series.

These two have a one night stand that Maggie feels she desperately needed to help her self-esteem after her ex-husband cheated on her. Rooster just simply wanted her.
Fast forward a few months and they meet again.
He still wants her. Badly.
He just has to convince her to take a chance on him.
She’s a package deal that comes with 2 kids and he doesn’t even mind. In fact, he greatly enjoys the kids.
I love a single mom story where the man is smitten with the kids.

While this story is in a series, it can be read on its own.

As always this series is my favorite. Rooster and Maggie are such an awesome couple. A chance encounter led to true love. Obviously they had their troubles in the form of a jealous ex, who is a real idiotica. A cheater who doesn't want her to have a second chance at love. Lucily Rooster sorted him out. The Fury is one of my favourite MC's and I'm looking forward to some more of their stories. I absolutely recommend this book. Great job miss Wilder.

A great read from the start! I enjoyed getting to know Rooster and Maggie. They have a super spicy start, but have a great connection that we can feel build as their story progresses. She's an amazing single mom, and Rooster fits in well to their world. Of course, with these Satan's Fury guys, there's intense moments that keep the heart pounding. A must on any must read list!

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Rooster gives a long-standing secondary character in the Satan's Fury series his chance to strut his stuff and readers will not be disappointed!

Ronin aka Rooster was a formidable and valued member of the Satan's Fury MC. His loyalty and commitment to his brothers was never in doubt. Maggie was a hard working single mom whose own loyalty was true but unfortunately the loyalty of the people she put her love and trust in previously had not been reciprocated.

When a random hookup between Ronin and Maggie lingered, their unexpectedly crossing paths sparked a flame. Ronin's determination was impossible for Maggie to resist despite all the walls she had put up. This couple's mutual attraction drove right through any reservations Maggie had about a relationship. Ronin had a lot more to him than most people gave him credit for and Maggie was quick to see past his outer appearance and see the man he was at his core. Ms. Wilder did a great job with Ronin and Maggie's interactions with her children, showing everyone's vulnerability in the situation.

L. Wilder writes with such ease but more so this ease translates to her audience's reading experiences. There is a mundane feel about her bikers even as they live lives that are far from everyday experiences and that shows the true depth of this author's writing skill. Her stories continue to offer a fresh and unique perspective from an unorthodox lifestyle choice. Ms. Wider's suspense elements are always well plotted out and engrossing adding a wonderful layer to her works. Rooster joins his fellow Satan's Fury brothers with a story for the books, so hold on tight for another L. Wilder ride impossible to put down!

*I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own. *
*While part of a series this book can be read as a stand alone, but for an overall enhanced reading experience reading the previous books in this series is suggested.*

Rooster is the 5th book in the Satan's Fury MC: Sec Gen series by Daphne Loveling. It's a second-chance single mom romance that fell a little short for me. I couldn't get into this book like I have the rest of the series and I think it could be because so much was happening. There was never a dull moment in the book which was good.
Rooster didn't understand why the chick he slept with at the movies wouldn't get out of his head. He gave her his number and she never called, plus he had more things to worry about in the club. Until a club problem led him right back to her when she broke down and he was the one to help her. Maggie had never done what she did with Rooster at the movies before but going through a hard divorce and having two kids she decided to be wild for a night. After seeing each other again they decide to give it a shot and take it slow since both of them had so much going on in their own lives. Her ex-husband was trying to manipulate the kids and still control her and Rooster was dealing with officer changes, taking over a business they never wanted, and helping another charter president out all while trying to be with each other.
I gave this a 3-star rating and a 3-spicy rating. So many things were happening in this book at one time that it felt like the building relationship between Rooster and Maggie was not the star of the book but rather in the background. The other things happening within the MC like getting a new president and helping a fellow presidents son were good parts of the book. You can tell their are many changes coming to the MC and I can't wait to see what happens next.
*I received this book for free. I voluntarily gave an honest review.*

This was another awesome story in this ongoing series. The characters were great as always. There is still an ongoing plot from the previous book with the death of a previous partner things were left to settle and a bit up in the air. The plot thickens with more intrigue more danger and love and loss.

Rooster a club brother seemed to be enjoying the single life and had no plans to get attached or even consider an old lady until a chance meeting not once but, twice with a beautiful brunette named Maggie he can't stop thinking about not only that Maggie comes as a packaged deal.

Loved Maggie & Rooster as a couple they made an awesome couple and after getting to know Maggie's ex we can say Rooster was his complete opposite and just what Maggie needed to give her a nudge to start enjoying life once again on a personal level.

Love these men who have no desire to be tied down and when the one comes along they do everything and anything to make them theirs for a man like Ronan aka Rooster for a man who never has done anything remotely close to a relationship he did what came naturally to him and won the heart, not only from a woman he wanted but the hearts of her children.

A lot was going on in this book to keep you glued to the pages the entire time. Loved the sweet romance that blossomed between Rooster and Maggie and how naturally it seemed to develop between Maggie and her entire family. It would not be Fury without tons of drama and action and more than a few surprises that graced them once again. Loved it!

Rooster is book five in the Satan's Fury Second Generation series. This book was  easy to read and entertaining with its sweet, honest, happy, and violent moments. There's a splash of action, humor, spice, and drama.

Rooster is protective, patient, loyal, and caring. We do see a more serious side to him in this book. I would have liked to know more about how he came to Fury and his personal life. Like where's his parents? Does he have siblings? I did love how fun and spontaneous he could be too.

Maggie is hard working, responsible, and a good mother. I found her to be relatable when it came to insecurities. She did drive me batty when she made excuses for her ex. I would have liked to see more interactions with her at the club since that's a main part of Rooster's life.

All the dynamic changes are starting to come together within the club and they are evolving and expanding their reach too. We meet some new characters which is setting up a spin off for Little Rock Satan's Fury.  Overall an enjoyable read and there are many things left unsettled so I bet more big changes are on the horizon.

This is the 5th book in this second generation series, and this is Ronin / Rooster and Maggie’s journey.
Ronin is strong, protective, and caring, and he has watched his club brother’s find their significant others, not expecting it to happen to him any time soon. Maggie is a single mom, which is strong and hardworking, with a cheating ex-husband, and when her kids are their dad for the weekend, she is lonely, and meets Ronin and they have a random hookup in the most unexpected place, with no strings attached. When these two cross paths again the chemistry between them is undeniable, and Ronin will do whatever he must to keep Maggie and her kids safe and protected.
This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, with dual POV’s, engaging and relatable characters, family, friendships, loyalty, drama, chaos, humor, witty banter, undeniable chemistry, second chances, tension, and love, which leads to an entertaining, unpredictable, twisted, haunting, and heartfelt, steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Maggie & Rooster's first meeting was a hookup at the movies, and that was supposed to be it, but the best laid plans amirite?! Maggie was busy being a single mother to teenage kids after getting divorced, and Rooster had no plans to ever settle down but fate had other ideas. They come face to face again, and this time, Rooster is determined to make her his as they definitely were each other's person so they sizzled off the pages. Of course she's not familiar with club life, and his MC is going through some dangerous power shifts so he's doing his best to develop a relationship while doing dangerous things without Maggie knowing the details. She has her ex making waves in her life now that she's finally living life so there's that other complication, and both of these things provided some twists to keep me guessing. I'm a HUGE fan of L. Wilder & the mouth watering bikers that come to life, so I'm always jonesing for more after finishing the newest release! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I Loved Rooster, aka Ronan, and Maggie’s story. My Goodness, their story is one for the ages. Oh it’s not all peaches and cream, but boy oh boy will it grab your heartstrings. These two have a wild one time hookup, which is the way Rooster prefers things. Settling down is not for him. But there is something about the woman, who’s name he didn’t get, that he can’t get off his mind. Same thing for Maggie. She is a single mom whose life revolves around her kids and she wouldn’t have it any other way. But that one time she let loose and did something for herself. Now her nights are full of dreams about the unknown biker. But as luck would have it, Ronan runs into her again, weeks later while on a stakeout for the club. Can this hardened biker convince Maggie and her two kids to give him a chance?

I can’t recommend this book/series enough. Grab it up - you won’t regret it.

A crazy HEA for Rooster! Meeting at a movie theater and having a one-night stand there, Maggie is doing something she never typically would and isn’t totally sure why, and Rooster is interested in getting to know her afterwards but is shocked that she isn’t ready for that. After going through a divorce, Maggie is questioning a lot in her life, and doubts if Rooster actually likes her. Fate intervenes and brings these two back together, and Maggie decides to take a chance, and Rooster is all in. I love that he is respectful of her children while also making sure that their relationship is a priority and important within the family as well, and I love that he protects all three of them towards her ex-husband. I loved their HEA and can’t wait for the next book!

Rooster: Satan's Fury MC- SG (Satan's Fury MC Second Generation Book 5) 5 stars posted 1/4/24
Rooster & Maggie + two

She didn't do hookups and that's all he did--till now.

It had been a long while since she'd been with a man. Persuaded to go out with friends she'd seen him. He'd seen her and a "close encounter" was their beginning. It is a touching story. A man no one expected to be the kind of father to these kids. She didn't expect to care for him or for him to show her the tenderness and the kids caring.

I loved the book and recommend it to fans and new readers. You won't be disappointed. The club brothers never expected this from Rooster but were supportive. A little advice: bring a drink and a fan because you won't want to stop reading until you finish.

Rooster hooks up with Maggie in a bathroom at a movie theater. Thinking they would never see each other again. Fate kept throwing them into each others path. From there they just kept hooking up until it turned into more.
Although once she hooked up with him her ex decides he wants her back and keeps harassing her until Rooster puts a stop to it.
I really didn't get the whole point of Cotton stepping down as Prez so that he could get away from the stress of running the show and then turn around and become the big honcho to the gun running. He seemed to be running the show anyway with Maverick as his side kick.
I do hope the rest of the SG get their HEA. Maverick and Smokey's kids and Cotton's daughters.

A fantastic story that I couldn’t put down! Ronin and Maggie were absolutely brilliant together! The way he handled everything from the kids to the ex was just perfectly balanced and showed how much he cared! Maggie was an amazing woman and dealt with things so very well! These two were just made for each other and I loved watching the fun they all had together! This was truly a very well written story that showed a lot of maturity in some areas that a lot of people would benefit from. I love being back with our favorite MC and see how they’re getting along! Absolute enjoyable read that I highly recommend! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book

Rooster finds himself intrigued by a single mother he meets unexpectedly at the movies. Maggie has a lot on her plate. She has an 12-year-old son and an 11-year-old daughter. Her ex seems like he has done a real number on them. She definitely has trust issues. Rooster realizes he has to go about dating her with some caution. He makes a game plan and does a good job of sticking to it. Their story was quite an interesting read. It was nice to see him get some happy in his life. I liked how Maggie, Nathan and Samantha were so ready to let Rooster into their lives. He doesn't make them regret it either. Some of it was a bit OTT, but overall a good read.

Rooster and Maggie will steal your heart as these two turn a one night stand into something more when they cross paths again in what could only be fate. Maggie deserves to be loved by someone who will show her that she is worthy and Rooster deserves the love of a woman who sees the man that he is and the brotherhood he is part of. Their ride to forever is filled with drama, grit and chaos to go hand in hand with chemistry, passion and heartfelt moments. As the Fury take on new demands and show their strength the love story builds between Rooster and Maggie giving us the ultimate HEA.
