Dear David Re “Judgment” Sun, Oct 21, 2012 I just finished reading your poem, and I can’t believe it. It is one of your best, most powerful!
It is as energetic as Browning and reminds me of him--but with your own creative daring that would awe even him.
It is a shocking and moving tribute to art that includes, of course, religion and faith, and an intense awareness of human flesh, with its beauty and frailty.
This poem is breathtakingly intense. So many allusions, such chiseled language.
Thank you so much for letting me read it.
