Honestly, I loved it. It’s a stylistic evolution of his first novel, and expands on the lore and legend of the high desert as well. Quick read, I finished it in one long afternoon at the beach. Highly recommended!

The first one was just so good. This didn’t compare.

All I can say is… I really hope this book is fiction! I gave it two stars because it was a page turner, but super freaky.
