Hello everyone, I'm Mr. C Reviewer, and tonight we're discussing (She/Her) Rachel Grey's book, Unbridled. This was my first time reading one of her work and after reading this one I do think that I would like to give her other book's a go.
I'd like to extend a huge thank you to booksirens for providing a copy of 'Unbridled' as an E-ARC in exchange for an optional honest review.
Unbridled is set to be Published February 7th, 2024. The narrative, told using first person perspective following Sana, Owen, Baylen, Leif and, colt. Which spans 53 chapters and 411 pages.
Summary: In a world where The Change has fractured humanity into distinct classes - Alpha, Beta, Omega, and an enigmatic new offshoot designation of Alpha - individuals grapple with their predetermined societal roles. The sudden emergence of this mysterious mutation triggers erratic feral behavior and physical anomalies, predominantly impacting the Omegas.
Trapped within the confines of an Omega institution, two inseparable friends await their impending destinies of being auctioned off to traditional Alphas or Alpha packs. However, their fates take a treacherous turn as covert political schemes loom, threatening to unravel the very fabric of their existence.
Review: -While I found it somewhat challenging to put down, it didn’t completely captivate me. As a fan of Omegaverse books, I was intrigued when I stumbled upon this one and decided to give it a chance. The writing in this book struck me as rather well-crafted, with detailed characterizations that brought the characters vividly to life in my mind. The world-building was commendable, although I personally wished for a tad more depth in that aspect. The narrative contained gripping scenes that had me on tenterhooks, yet I yearned for a touch more intensity sprinkled throughout.
In my personal opinion, the book seemed to place a heavier focus on Owen’s character compared to other characters’ perspectives. This emphasis on Owen sometimes made him come across as slightly annoying, despite being one of my favourite characters. I believe the story would have been more enjoyable if it had been narrated solely from his point of view. By delving into the events and discoveries alongside Owen.
-I found meeting the characters to be a delightful experience. Sana and Owen embody qualities of sweetness, care, sassiness, and sensuality that make them a truly unique pair of Omegas within the story. Their unwavering support for each other, both as best friends and romantic partners, was heart-warming to witness. The bond between them was captivating to explore. Additionally, delving into the lives of Baylen and Leif provided insight into their experiences within the book’s world. Winston, the impressive wolfdog character, added depth to the scenes he was featured in. The concise cast of characters in the story was also a refreshing aspect that I appreciated.
-The conclusion of the book was enjoyable, although it seemed a bit hurried. Nonetheless, I found it to be well-crafted and engaging. I would eagerly anticipate a sequel if the narrative were expanded into a series that delved deeper into the characters’ journeys. The story felt like it was just the beginning of a grand adventure. Moreover, I believe this book has the potential to be adapted into an excellent movie, and I would definitely watch it if such a film were ever produced.
-I was eagerly anticipating the opportunity to immerse myself in both the written and auditory renditions of this book. To my dismay, upon investigation, I realized that an audiobook adaptation is not yet accessible. I personally derive immense pleasure and benefit from the harmonious blend of reading the text while simultaneously listening to an audiobook. I remain hopeful for the eventual creation of an audiobook version. Moreover, the provision of an audiobook rendition would serve to expand the reach of this narrative to a wider and more diverse audience.
I rate each story I read out of 10 and for this one, I give it an 8. Remember this was what I thought about the book personally and I suggest that you give it a go for yourself.

I was fortunate enough to be able to read an advanced version of this book and was immediately drawn into the world Sana is living in. As essentially a trapped bird in an outwardly elegant cage, it doesn’t take long for the glamor to wear off and the horror of what being imprisoned means for her. But escaping doesn’t necessarily seem like the better option as being caught would almost certainly lead to her return and immediate punishment of being sent to an even worse fate.
But when she and her best friend find themselves on a beautiful flower farm, they begin to hope that escape might just be possible. I hate spoilers, so I don’t want to share any more details about what unfolds, so I will just say that I was constantly feeling the pull to return to the book and continue reading.
The world Rachel has created feels fully realized and although the characters are often secluded, there are glimpses of the wider world which feels populated and ever present, especially as tensions rise.
I enjoyed the new take on Alphas and as someone who does not read Omegaverse stories that often, it feels like a great introduction for those who are new. Everything is explained in a way that made biological sense to me and didn’t pull me out of the story to wonder how something could possibly happen. As a gay man, I also really enjoyed the lack of homophobia that seems to exist in this world of large, seemingly straight, men. There was no shying away from physical affection, even if sex wasn’t the goal. And when it was, there was no shying away from that either.
Whether you’re a longtime fan of Omegaverse stories, or just dipping your toes in the water, I think you’ll enjoy this story! I know I did!

I DEVOURED this book!
It took me a minute to understand the dynamics of the world but once I understood, I couldn’t put this book down. I read it one evening!
The romance is wonderful, there’s grumpy x sunshine, there’s spice, there’s love you for who you are not what you are. My heart was jumping out my body with the cuteness, there’s tension and again SMUT!
I throughly throughly enjoyed this book and am so grateful to have been able to be chosen to receive and ARC.

Rachel introduced an interesting take on Omegaverse, adding in a new designation - Ferals.
At first it was bit strange to get into it, it was weird for me to read about two omegas getting it on.
And I didn't immediately get the world these caracters were living. After this slow start, it started to get to even out and the world building became more real, the different societies and politics of it became clearer and so much interesting. I really appreciate when an author prefers to ease the readers into their world. When you get all the information at once, I easilyget bored and miss some very important notions to fully understand the book.
The idea that many people didn't feel comfortable in their designation and the stereotypes connected to the designation, was an interesting view and reflection of our world. The idea that you can be a Beta with the body of an Alpha, or an Alpha who wants to dominate his omega when they feel they need to, but at the same time willing to kneel to them, is just amazing. It's pure and simply love. Not caring about the outside world and what people think. Just theperfection of being yourself with the person you love.
I enjoyed reading about Sana and Baylen's connection, the strenght it gained when they shared more, especially when she got to know his Feral and the discoveries she made about him. How Sana managed to feel comfortable in her own skin and stop feeling worthless, thanks to her relationship to Baylen is a wonderful growth to read. Another interesting point is the change of power dynamics between them. Seems one moment Sana is the Alpha of the couple, and then the Omega. An interesting switch.
We also got a little glimpse in Colt's life. And oh boy what a glimpse. That doctor is one lucky lady, let me tell you.

This book is a delightful blend of sweetness, spice, politics, and heartfelt moments. At its core, it explores the concept of fated mates, albeit with the added twist of Alphas, Omegas, Betas, and even Ferals. However, beyond these designations, it's fundamentally a story about individuals destined to be together.
It delves into themes of resistance against oppression and the enduring power of love, illustrating how it can compel individuals to endure any hardship to remain by each other's side.
In keeping this review spoiler-free, I must refrain from revealing too much. But I can't help but gush over Baylen, this charmingly, sweet Feral, especially when he utters the commanding yet alluring words: "Submit," with a growl. Perhaps my fondness for him is influenced by his appreciation for peonies, a sentiment I share wholeheartedly. Go Team Baylen!

First off, the cover is absolutely adorable so I really hope that might be what caught your eye and got you reading this review!
Sana and Owen are Omegas to die for and Leif and Baylen are Alphas with secrets, fear, and paranoia.
Be ready to ride an emotional roller-coaster. Be it empathy and sadness for their lot in life, or the ever growing hope that maybe things can be different and better.
It's a beautiful story that's not quite what you'll expect but worth every second it might take to read it.
Baylen is definitely my favorite and I'm sure you'll at least agree he is incredible in more ways than one.
Not to mention the spice is HOT with all capitals. So be ready to feel like your heats turned on high even though it's just you haha!
Run. Don't wait to delve into their story and see what unfolds.

It’s definitely a 4.5 stars for me. I really enjoyed the emphasis on the complexity of the relationship between the omegas beyond any sexual interactions. While it was a lovely spicy book the different relationships between all of the characters was the most heartwarming part of this book. Sometimes it’s amazing to read a steamy book where characters make sensible decisions and have meaningful relationships and the sex just adds to it. Overall very solid book that I really enjoyed.

Sana and Owen are Omegas in a world where they have no rights. Running from the possibility of being sold to a Feral Alpha whose knot and peen have spikes, they go from frying pan to fire, finding a pair of twins. One an Alpha, the other a Feral. Sana is attracted to Baylen, the Feral and Owen is attracted to Alpha Leif. Sana and Owen have a sweet chemistry. Leif has a great relationship with his brother. The rest of the world, not so much.
The sex is hot. This feels more polyamory rather than harem. The characters have a seamless relationship. And the worldbuilding is great.
The omega pet with no rights, at the mercy of callous alphas , is a familiar trope. Much of this book is tried and true with the surprise being the feral alpha and his anatomy.
I'm hoping that there will be a next book, because this feels like the beginning of a journey. Very quick, enjoyable read

A very unique paranormal novel, Unbridled was like nothing I’ve ever read before. I literally didn’t want to stop reading. When I did have to stop, I couldn’t wait to get back to it.
A different slant on a dystopian type world, humans suddenly developed distinct physical traits that determined their role in society. They’re stuck in these roles with no alternatives, some even legally kept in cages.
There are so many things I liked about this story. The entire novel was just fascinating but the characters are what really did it for me. I think I’ll actually miss them.

Really enjoyed this story. The angst and tension of personality vs. designation. Sana is a relatively dominant Omega, Owen is a comparatively large Omega, Baylen is a feral Alpha. Each expressed their designation outside the usual expectations. None were textbook. I loved how Sana protected and supported Owen and how close they were. Leif had been protecting Baylen since he got his designation and had hardened his heart to letting anyone in. They all went from being locked into their designation boxes to opening up to feelings and love. (BIG P.S. - The Change (the beginning of designations) is explained. Thanks!)

Yet again, a whole other Alpha world that was never thought of or imagined by Rachel...she's amazing at thinking outside of the box and this was no different.
All four main characters are great, fitting together like a puzzle. Where one fails, the other compliments. I wasn't so sure how making four would go, but it flows. And I can't see one not being in this story. I was rooting for Sana and Baylen from the start, but sure never saw the twist of Leif and her or the family they became! Which was so heartwarming.
If you love Alphas and Omegas, and want something different, because this truly is, then pick this book up! It gives such a different spin on everything.

3.5 stars. I truly had a great time reading most of this addictive book, and only two things really bothered me.
The first thing: Sana gets crazy upset at one point about someone calling her and Owen “Omegas” instead of their names, and yet inside her head she calls Owen “my omega”. Owen does the same for her. Seems like a big mistake for the author to have made if it’s such a big insult to be referred to by your designation.

This was an interesting book with a new Alpha designation for some Alphas, a mutation known as a Feral, an alpha with uncontrollable feral behavior and painful physical deformities. These alphas need to be kept from the rest of the population because they can be a danger to others when in that state. The deformities can also be painful and physically damaging to Omegas.
There is also an Omega Institute where omegas sold by their families or there voluntarily are sold to Alphas or Alpha packs. Two of the Omegas at the Institute, Sana and Owen, have managed to avoid being sold for years, but have recently learned that an Omega from the Institute will be given to the Feral Alpha winner of a lottery by the current governor running for re-election. Figuring that one of them will be chosen, they decide to try to escape. The rest of the book follows their escape, where they end up, the two Alphas (one of whom is a Feral) and one Beta they meet, and the problems that arise from their situation for all involved.
This was a pretty original idea to me, and it presented several unique situations when dealing with a Feral. The development of the Feral side of Alpha Baylen through his interactions with Omega Sana revealed qualities that were totally unexpected, but probably wouldn’t have been revealed if not for her attraction to his regular Alpha persona and her desire to learn more about the Feral. As Sana, Baylen, Owen, Leif, and Beta Colt work to challenge the governor to protect the Omegas and inadvertently come upon a way to help the Ferals, they also find the way to their future.
These four MC were very interesting, each with their own strengths and vulnerabilities to help them cope with the challenges they face, discovering things about themselves they hadn’t realized or had overlooked when facing their daily challenges, each fiercely protective of the ones they loved, but also willing to sacrifice if needed. The book is told from the POV of the 4 main characters with a chapter from Colt’s POV. The story kept me interested and had some twists which I hadn’t expected. I would definitely recommend this book if you like variations in the Alpha, Beta, Omega universe. There is no mpreg, but there are some steamy scenes that blend well into the story.

They’ve been “trained” and they’re expected to make rich alpha matches who will buy them. But they’re determined to do whatever it takes to stay together, sabotaging potential matches.
Then Owen hears a rumour that omegas are about to be sold to a compound housing feral alphas, whose physical changes can literally kill omegas. Knowing they’ll be prime targets, they take the desperate step of actually escaping from their prison.
Tucked away in a florist’s van, they are taken to a remote property where they find Baylen, one male alpha lead and a feral alpha in hiding, being protected by his twin brother, Leif, the second male alpha lead and extreme grump. Leif knows they have no scope to keep more secrets but Baylen is enthused by the idea of company. Sana and Owen are just shocked to find an alpha each who they’re actually attracted to and, if they mate, would allow them to stay together!
But they need to find a solution to the situation they’ve escaped from. And for Baylen’s changes…
This story is mainly four lead character POV, with a couple of chapters from a friend who facilitates the resolution. It is well written, and an erotic omegaverse fantasy romance. I enjoyed Sana and Owen’s comfort with each other in all forms of intimacy, and their stress relief of sexual intimacy with each other. I enjoyed the contrast of Baylen’s personality vs Leif’s. I enjoyed the parallel relationship development and the growing intimacy between the couples. I appreciated the integrated beta friend, Colt, who was a linchpin for the story. I enjoyed the cleverness of the resolution, both for the overarching plot and for Baylen and Sana’s relationship. I appreciated the cleverness of the intimacy situation and the balance that the couples achieved together and as individual pairs.

I have to say, I didn't know what would expect me. I saw the ARC per chance. The cover looked interesting, and I loved the art style. And the blurb caught my attention too. Though, I was confused about the constellation.
The blurb reads like it's an MMF situation. When I opened the book and saw the different POVs, I was like maybe it's RH after all, which is what I normally read. But I didn't expect twins and mainly M/F and one M/M pairing. Though, there were crossovers with each other (of course, except for the twins).
Colt was a confusion too, because he was listed in the chapters, I initially thought he would be part of the group. But he wasn't. I didn't get the purpose of him having his own POV. But I figured, it was to show the parts of the story the omegas, Leif and Baylen can't witness themselves. And that not just passively, but actively.
In general, the story was surprising. It was a different take on my favorite genre. It has some new terminology and biological differences. I loved that the sexuality was more open-minded. The introduction of feral alphas, as a sub-form of the usual alphas, really hit something.
The whole story and dynamic was complex and had different facets. Both Leif and Baylen fight with themselves. They struggle with different insecurities and burdens. Same with the omegas. It was surprising to watch their relationship. And be witness to their struggles.
Really, it was surprisingly good and well-executed, that I read it in one go. Full of details and different takes on norms, while having some reality too. Like the political aspect of the situation.

Unbridled immediately brings the heat and continues to give the reader more throughout the story. Definitely a high-spice read!
Sana is a strong and protective omega, who feels responsible for her friend Owen’s safety and happiness but ignores her own needs and doesn’t seem to respect herself as much as she should. Owen is more of the omega that the world expects of the designation, and he’s happy to be himself and let Sana care for him, though he does wish he were a bit stronger at times.
Sana and Owen have a special dynamic. They are not in love, but love each other enough to enjoy being intimate when their omega traits demand it.
We meet the feral alpha, Baylen, when the omegas hide in his barn after escaping the omega institute. He’s terrifying, but when they interact with him in his normal state, he’s anything but. Sana begins to fall for him and his feral side while they are stuck at the brothers’ farm, hoping to pull forth the strength inside him that has been buried by his shame of his designation. Baylen, in turn, tries to show Sana that she’s worthy of love and being cared for.
Owen begins to fall for Baylen’s brother, Leif, who we find is the opposite of Baylen but just wants to protect his brother and the omegas themselves, even though none of them can see his good intentions. His and Owen’s relationship was tense, but exciting to watch unfold throughout the story, and I was relieved to see Leif allow himself to find happiness.
There is a political aspect, which I found unique and believable, that brought a lot of action to the story. The world-building was great, showing an omegaverse universe and designation that I haven’t seen done before.
I finished this book much faster than I expected because I couldn’t put it down. Definitely recommend it!

Another must read by Rachel Grey!
Unbridled was a light, enjoyable read with a lot of steam, but very fleshed-out characters and a fantastic plot. I loved it!
It starts off with a spicy scene between Sana and a beta who is a weakness of hers. The chapter shows the reader how lowly Sana thinks of herself while bringing a taste of the steam the book will offer.
Sana focuses on caring for her omega friend, Owen, who is stuck in the same Omega institute as her. She finds worth as his protector and provider, and he looks up to her for her strength and kindness to him.
The introduction of the feral alpha gives this story a unique twist, as well as the government conflict we see throughout the book. When the omegas escape a dangerous fate, they meet Baylen’s feral form on his and his brother’s farm. The difference between Baylen’s normal self and his alpha form is extensive. It’s hard to see them as the same person, which is something that Sana also helps Baylen see and accept throughout the book.
We learn of the main characters’ insecurities, each having a unique struggle with themselves. As they get to know each other, they end up finding ways to uplift and help each other with these issues. The focus on accepting what others see as flaws about ourselves instead of pretending to be someone we aren’t is really relatable.
Sana’s interactions with Baylen’s feral form are touching and so fun to read, as well as her intimacy with Baylen’s normal form that helps them both respect themselves as they find respect for each other.
Leif is a grumpy character, but it’s all for a good cause. He wants Owen, but puts Baylen’s safety first, unfortunately pushing everyone away in the process. His worries are valid, but he learns that some things surpass logical reasoning, and listening to one’s heart can be even more important.

Sana and Owen are the most sweetest, caring, sassy and sexual pair of Omega's I think you'll ever meet. They have each others backs always, and love each other as best friends and sexual partners.
Expectations are that they should individually find an Alpha or a pack. However for reasons that become clearer later in the book, the vulnerabilities that each of them have and the fact that they will not be separated, they go on the run.
Leif is an Alpha with a secret, his twin brother Baylen is a Feral Alpha. Feral's are dangerous, in their altered state their fangs are longer, they have sharp claws and spikes on their knots. They are segregated from society. Normally.
When Sana and Owen hide out at Leif's flower farm, they certainly find more than they expected. They find themselves, they find their fated Alpha's, and all four of them confront their own insecurities, find themselves vulnerable on many levels and ultimately find happiness.
Unbridled has a brilliantly unique take on the Alpha designation with the introduction of 'Ferals' and the political aspect of this book provides a great foundation for driving the plot forward.
One of my favourite moments in the book is where Sana and Leif go head to head in anger and protectiveness over Baylen and in doing so finally realise how much alike they are and find a mutual respect and understanding for each other.

Unbridled is a steamy MF, MM Omegaverse romance (with some crossover between couples) ending in a guaranteed HEA.
It contains explicit sexual scenes and is intended for readers 18+.
It is an interesting take on a dystopian world where something akin to a virus turns the world into an omegaverse (no full shifting). The rich get what they want (omegas), the poor are penalised and those that are different are deemed dangerous and locked away.
Although nothing seems to really happen, at the same time lots of things are happening. There is so much growth with the 4 main characters within the short time that they are together and it is great to see the events from the different povs. They all want and need to make it a better world for themselves and their friends but 3 out of the 4 are in hiding and they need allies. There is also always the risk that they could be caught and torn away from each other.
Rachel has a way of telling stories that pulls you in and keeps you hooked wanting more. She manages to convey the feelings and thoughts of the characters so well that keeps you invested and understanding their perspectives even if they are seen as ‘the bad guy’ for a while.

“If they’re discovered, all four of us will lose everything. Isn’t it better to lose one thing than to risk losing it all?” “Not when you’ve found the one thing worth risking it all for.”

I think the writing is good and the world building is all fine and dandy. However, there were just a few things that really threw me off.

Owen and Sana, the two omega besties, have a cute and interesting relationship. I really enjoyed reading about them.

The Bad & the Really Ugly:
The ‘feral’ alphas were just a tad bit… hmm, not really my cup of tea. I mean, I know that was the whole point, but spikes? Reading about it just made me feel icky.
This is a long book, and according to my personal preference, I like these types of books to be short and sweet. If they are long, I usually lose interest and never finish.
I also thought Sana & Owen got along with the twins way too fast, and overall, things get resolved rather easily.
In Conclusion:
If you’re looking for a new omegaverse with a Happily Ever After ending, lots of spice, well-written, and not super short, I would highly recommend this book! Although for me, it didn’t particularly scratch the itch I was hoping it would, I completely understand why this book has such great reviews.

Owen and Sana, the two omega besties, have a cute and interesting relationship. I really enjoyed reading about them.

This book starts off slow, but gallops away after that. There is some world-building and a glossary of sorts is included. We begin with two omegas - Sana and Owen - who are die-for-you besties. In this world, Omegas are scarce and when their designation comes in (usually early twenties) they can voluntarily enter, or be sold to by their parents, an institution that is supposed to take care of them and find them an alpha to mate with. Of course, this means the institute sells them to rich Alphas. Sana and Owen have managed to keep themselves from being sold by being less than hospitable to the Alphas. They are determined to stay together.
I won't ruin the story for you. There is lots more to this strange world. The newest addition to the lineup are designation Feral. In there feral forms, these males have spikes where no man would want them, and claws. While Omegas are slowly locked up for their safety, Feral are locked up for everyone else's safety. You will meet one who is a fine person in his non-shifted form, not so much when he shifts. But Sana can see him for who he actually is and she is determined that he will see himself the same way.
Plenty of sexual scenes. MF and MM, so if that bothers you then this book isn't for you. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

UNBRIDLED is an Omegaverse story with a difference - and I loved it!
In this, we learn about The Change and how it affected people. Once again, Omegas get the rough end of the stick, but maybe not the roughest. That I would say goes to the Ferals. And my heart just broke for them!!!
There are a lot of aspects in this book that maybe aren't usual, but I loved that they were here. For instance, a gentle Feral, Omegas getting it on together for comfort, a Beta who looks like an Alpha, and an Alpha willing to let the Omega take control.
The character development here is second to none. I was gripped by the unfolding story and seeing the thoughts and feelings behind the behaviour. Told from multiple perspectives, it was well-rounded and full of action. The pacing was perfect, giving plenty of time for tension to build. Fantastic connections between all of the characters.
I think this is a standalone, but I would be more than happy to return to this world - especially if I find out more about Colt, plus the other characters from here. I really want a HEA for ALL of them!!!

The first 2/3 of this book is focused on thrilling action that had me wondering if things would turn out. I was invested in the lives of the characters, and I was eager to see the resolution to problems that affected all of the mc's. This part of the book has great tension and it kept me reading.
The last third of the book is more about the resolution of the problems our mc's have encountered. Unfortunately, I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. Turns out that it's a pretty soft shoe because the issues are addressed and resolved for our HEA. What that includes is a spoiler that I won't give up.
I liked all of the characters since it turns out that there is a soft center under a hard shell. Sometimes, it just takes a little longer to get there. I found the character of Baylen to be wishy-washy most likely because his feral side was so angry and confused. Leif, on the other hand, is that hard-shelled character with the soft center. His feelings are more consistent, and you just have to hope that he's included in the HEA.
There is graphic sex, including some sword crossing. Violence is understandable but surprisingly minimal. As I said, there is an HEA. This is an excellent author that I plan on reading as many of her books as possible.

I really love omegaverse and it is always such a treat to find the genre portrayed in innovative ways. The themes of subjugation that are common in omegaverse are heavily represented in this book but the additional designation of Feral Alpha with altered states and spiked knots is a twist. The relationships themselves are also unique.
At first, I did not really understand how Sana and Owen had sex but said their relationship was not sexual or romantic
Sana later explains that she loves Owen like she should love herself. Sex with him is almost masturbation. The twins are also solely attracted to their respective partners but they do share heats with both omegas. In this, they see the sex as more a service and an honor than something romantic/sexual. Having two couples in one book was unique on its own but this level of intimacy was quite fascinating. I also just adored Baylen for the sweet cinnamon roll he is. The multi POV was perfect to portray all this intricacy
My only contention is all the events and relationship development occurs in the span of maybe a week. The depth of the development compared to the time frame is rather startling, especially with how the overarching plot was somehow rectified so quickly.

This book is an interesting take on an Omegaverse adding in a new designation - Ferals. It was a slow yet abrupt start for me. It felt like the beginning of the book was missing half a chapter to a chapter. It took several chapters for the flow to even out. I enjoyed the weaving of personal issues with and contrasting with overall societal issues. Many of the characters don't fit their assigned gender/designation stereotypes which adds depth to the story. I didn't really care for Leif though I understood the motivations of his character. The ongoing moodiness was off-putting and I think more time between him and Owen would have been nice. Baylan and Sana are an interesting couple with fluctuating power dynamics. A major aspect that I really appreciated was the relationship been Sana and Owen and how it was respected by the other main characters.
Overall interesting universe and imagining of an Omegaverse. It's an enjoyable read with some suspense/intrigue, spice, and romance.

Beautiful story full of psychological layers
WOW! The second book by ms Grey and just as special as the first, Speechless. An understanding of the human psyche and the interactions they can have, whether it is out of love, protectiveness or fear. Trust issues play a big part. What does it mean when a person is locked in, prisoner of society or looked at as a possession. Between those issues is a heartwarming story, full of hope and humor. Steamy scenes between the four characters with a HEA as a family.
A message about caring for each other, accepting differences as just ‘other’ instead of better or less.
The story to me was really captivating, making me laugh and wipe a tear. The part where Sana goes to the dungeon to be with Baylen and makes a video while she is interacting with his Feral Alpha and when he views this video the next day is beautiful with an emotional depth that went under my skin. I read the book in one day.
