the previous book was disappointing to say the least and for that reason i went into this one with very low expectations. i honestly didn’t believe that i would have the best time with it, but deep down i was hoping i was wrong and that maybe it would end up surprising me. as you can notice, that’s not what happened.

my experience reading this was not the best (which is obvious if you’ve read my updates) multiple times i felt the urge to DNF, but i didn’t because it was the final installment of the series and, well, i didn’t read 12 books to give up at the last one so i pushed through. was it worth it? no, it really wasn’t. but you know what, i’m very proud of myself for not giving up. it was not easy, but i made it.

i started reading the Like Us series at the beginning of 2022 and at that time i was obsessed with Luna and Donnelly. their books weren’t even released yet, all we had was just small scenes of them in other character’s books, but even so, i can tell you that they were my favorite couple and that i was beyond excited to read their story. at the end of that year, Misfits Like Us released and i adored it, i was pretty sure that i would adore their next books as well. then, in 2023, their second book Unlucky Like Us came out and i didn’t like the direction their story went in at all. and on top of that, i also realized that i just didn’t care that much about them anymore. sure, i still had some positive feelings towards them; but generally speaking, i definitely didn’t feel the same way as before. reading Nobody Like Us made me realize how much i have grown detached from Luna and Donnelly — as individuals and as a couple.

Luna and Donnelly were bland and unremarkable for the majority of the book, i found both of their personalities tedious here. i was deeply uninterested in them and also in their personal struggles, i genuinely couldn’t care less, sorry. it truly breaks my heart to say that because i used to have these two as my favorite characters in the series and i wasn’t expecting to have such negative thoughts about them. don’t get me wrong — i’m not saying that i hate them now, i don’t, i’m just not as fond of them as i used to be.

as for the romance; it was so meh and lackluster. i didn’t feel emotionally invested at all and i was almost dying of boredom reading their moments together. it failed to captivate me. and don’t even get me started with the amount of pathetic and cringe scenes between them... especially the ‘spicy’ ones. some of them had me cringing so hard that i had to take a break and stop reading for a few minutes (seriously, i’m not exaggerating). i lost count of how many times i cringed.

i really didn’t want to feel this way, but it is what it is. i wholeheartedly believed that Lunnelly had a lot potential, it’s a shame the authors wasted it. sighs.

this book is over 800 pages long, and for the love of god, just tell me what is the point of that. it’s absolutely unnecessary for it to be this long, mainly because the plot itself is not even very interesting to begin with, it was boring and repetitive and there was a lot of pointless filler scenes. i guarantee you that it could’ve easily been 200 pages shorter (or maybe even shorter than that).

although i didn’t like this book, i decided to give it 2 stars because, surprisingly, there were a few good things:

1. Lily and Lo crumbs; they are my everything and i’ll never get tired of reading about them.
2. a significant amount of scenes with Xander; i enjoyed every single one of his scenes. he’s my favorite Hale kid so of course i was happy to see him.
3. other side characters; apart from Lily, Lo and Xander, some of the other side characters kept me interested as well.
4. the last 85% of the book; it was somewhat interesting. nah, interesting is a strong word, let’s just say it became less insufferable.

and that’s about it.

even though i liked the things above, i must say that, overall, Nobody Like Us was not an enjoyable read for me — i’m very happy to be done with this book, such a relief! i’m also glad that this series is finally over and, frankly, i don’t think i’m gonna miss it. now i’m looking forward to the Cobalt Empire series series. i hope, and i believe, that it will be way better and far more interesting than this one. we shall see.

───────────

i’m going into this book with very low expectations to be honest... but let’s see how it goes! hope it surprises me 👀

“Be yourself, space babe. That’s all I’ll ever want.”

After 13 books, I can’t believe the ‘Like Us’ series has come to an end. But what a way to go out. Nobody Like Us is the third Lunelly book and I haven’t loved a book couple more since LiLo. I’m obsessed with these two together and it’s made their books so special to me.

Luna and Donnelly love each other so much. And not only that, they genuinely like each other all the time. It’s so refreshing to see a couple that into one another and 100% comfortable with letting the other person be exactly who they are. Paul Donnelly has a messed up family, but he is an amazing man despite it all. And Luna is the best. My favorite little weirdo. I was so proud of her in this one.

I don’t want to talk about the storyline much, but I loved the direction it took, especially the ending. That epilogue was everything! The Hales are my absolute favorite fictional family and I never complain about getting more of them. Loren was incredible in this one and I’m still hoping we get a Xander book one day because I’m so intrigued by him!

I love starting January off with a 5-star favorite that I know will make my 2024 favorites list! This book was perfect for me. I highly recommend reading it, and I’m looking forward to the Cobalt spin-off because I need more of my favorite characters!

Incoming: Full chaotic rant about this series and book. I have so many thoughts I need to unload, so pls bear with me🧎🏻‍♀️‍➡️

13 books later and I’m finally here!! I seriously didn’t think I’d get through them this fast. When I first started this series, I thought it’d take me way longer to finish, but it flew by! And now I’ve got a whole month to wait before the first book in the Cobalt Empire comes out, and before I can read anything in this universe again :( I Can’t wait for Ben’s book, but ik it’s going to be torture waiting between releases.

This series is one of the best I’ve read this year, and I can easily say K & B are becoming two of my favorite authors ever. I’ve loved and devoured almost every single one of their books I’ve read. THEY NEVER MISS!!
I love how every single character they write feels completely different and unique! They’ve never written characters repetitively, which is honestly impressive given how many characters and books there are in the Like Us/Addicted/Calloway universe. It’s one of my favorite things about their writing, and I genuinely had so much fun getting to know each and every character. They’ve definitely raised the bar once again for any series I read in the future!

Anyways, back to this book! I really did enjoy it, and I have so many positive things to say about it. The only reason I’m not giving it a higher rating is that it was a bit too slow-paced for my liking. Still, I’m so glad we overturned the miss that was Unlucky Like Us with this book bc it was so much better imo.
Luna & Donnelly will forever be one of my faves in this universe, and their love for each other means everything to me! It's so deep and genuine that you can truly feel it in your heart while reading <3

I was crying atp <3

I also absolutely loved Luna’s friendship with Charlie! She’s the first one in the family (aside from his twin) who actually made an effort to build a relationship with him and treated him like he’s a good person, worthy of her time despite his flaws. I love how she defends him from their siblings and cousins, especially Sulli, who really needs to get over her grudge against Charlie. Anyways, I can’t wait to see more of Luna and Charlie in the future, their dynamic and the way he’d do anything to protect her is just so interesting!

And seriously, how the fuck did grandma Calloway manage to outlive even grandpa Calloway?!?! When will it be her timeee???? I needed her dead like yesterday. Istg if she doesn't die in the Cobalt Emipre series, I will.

At the end of the day, this series and the entire Addicted/Calloway universe will always hold a special place in my heart <3 Thirteen books later, and I still can’t get enough of these characters, their messy lives, and the love they hold for each other. It’s honestly rare to find a fictional world that feels this alive and I already miss them ɵ̷̥̥᷄ˬɵ̷̥̥᷅.

This was everything I wanted for Luna and Donnelly's last book and more. I didn't think it was possible to love these characters anymore than I already did but here we are.

The growth these two show over the course of this mammoth book had me so incredibly proud of them. They had so many odds stacked against them, but it's undeniable that Luna and Donnelly are meant to be, in every universe. They worked so freaking hard for themselves and each other.

And not only did we get some of my new favorite Lunnelly moments, we also got many of my new favorite side character moments. I loved seeing all the characters interacting together. All the big group scenes were *chef's kiss* And the smaller moments between other characters - Donnelly and Farrow and the forever strengthening of their bond, Donnelly and Lo, Luna and Eliot & Tom, those troublemakers, Luna and Charlie. PLUS all the crumbs we got about the Cobalts we get ready for their series!

No joke, Nobody Like Us is filled with all my hopes and dreams that I've harbored for Luna and Donnelly FOR YEARS. There were scenes that I've been requesting on Patreon that actually made it into a book. There were burning questions and suspicions I've had that were finally answered. I've been waiting on a certain date to happen in a very special location, and it happened at last. There were life changes that I have daydreamed about for Luna and Donnelly, and IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. Dreams do come true. By the end of this book, I just filled with so much joy for these two characters who deserve it all and got it all.

Of course with this book, we get the conclusion of the Like Us series and I'm feeling some type of way about it all. This book definitely has "end of an era" vibes and I struggled to compose myself for the last 10% of the book. Thank you to this entire series for being such an epic part of my life these past 6.5 years. While I know it's never a goodbye, just a see you later, I'm gonna miss these characters and stories so SO much in the meantime.

Cringe is the only word to explain Luna and Donnelly romance from the beginning to the end. Thank God I don't have to read Donnelly POV ever again. I said everything about them in previous reviews except now they are extra boring. The new CEO of Fizzle plot was dragged so much when we know who will take take it, it is her book. Given that to Luna at the age of 21, while she is actively recovering from amnesia plus all she does is writes alien smut and dates her older bodyguard. The length of this isn't normal or needed it, I had to stop reading a couple of times.

Why does KBR have to make everything dramatic unnecessary? I'm talking about Ben character arc. Otherwise, all Cobalts siblings' scenes were amazing, especially with Charlie and Eliot. Also, Tom and Leo better happen.
I can't wait for the Cobalt Empire series to start. And before that happens, can we have Quinn and Frog's book? I'm giving this a 2 star for Cobalts and family scenes, but LU is finally done, and we everyone is celebrating it.

“I’d like to think that those who know us best will say there was nobody like us. That we left this world how we lived inside of it.”

ok. as with nearly every other book in this series, i'm conflicted.

i'm just... not the target audience for these books, and YET, something brings me back with each new one. i don't even remember how i stumbled onto the OG addicted series, bc they were all het new adult romance which is not my vibe, but i got hooked/attatched to the characters and... like 20 smth books left, here we are. these twins have written ONE sapphic book and it was a standalone (i loved it, so, ya know, i'm desprete for them to write more but not holding my breath). these are all largely het romances that i tend to have issues with (they are SO attatched to age gap romances where the girl in question is always younger, and nearly always less sexually experienced at it's Such a thing at this point i hate it!!! it drives me nuts the way they write them, and YET).

and yET, is a theme, for me and this series.

it is very much not my vibe, but i've devoured each and every new book, and not only that, i COME BACK TO THEM every once in a while. for me, the draw is the familial dynamics. the sister dynamics is what drew me into the OG series, and the siblings/cousin dynamics is what keeps me here, despite the fact that they tend to take the backseat/get skipped over a LOT. the glimpses of what we get, i like. i've long since made peace with the fact that i'm not the target audience, and largely just stopped worrying abt it, but there IS a frustration that lingers when i get glimpses of stuff i'd love to have explored more, only for it to be skipped over and another drawn out scene of the male love interests, usually.

in this specfic one, there were things i liked, and things that annoyed me. i liked seeing a bit more of the hale family and luna and her parents (but was rlly irritated to see both those dynamics way overshadowed with donnelly bonding with lily and lo more than luna) and seeing more of luna and the cobalt boys friendship was fun, but i was super bummed that we got basically nothing of jane or sulli and hardly anything at all with kinney. as a series finale... i was rlly bummed at the lack of the other characters. i would have loved something kinda like Some Kind of Perfect where we get multiple couple povs again (especially jane, got she got so shaffted by this series--least amount of books and also (imo) some of the worst/most boring books at that). it bums me so hard at the lack of female relationships in this family. we always get lines SAYING they are close/hanging out, and never get to see much of it, yet we get a ton of scenes of the bodyguards bonding.

my MAIN annoyance and frustration with this one was the way they talked abt sex. it was SO heteronormative the way they kept being like "we can't have sex yet" bc luna was a 'psedo virgin' bc she lost her memories of the time when she was sexually active before she got with donnelly, and THEY WERE CONSTANTLY HAVING SEX. ORAL SEX, IS SEX. JUST BC IT'S NOT PIV SEX YOU ARE STILL HAVING SEX. THIS DROVE ME WILD AND NOT AT ALL IN THE GOOD WAY. it only futher cemented my irritation at how they write smut, het dynamics, and experienced older men/younger virginal-like girls.

overall, i enjoyed this one more than i thought i would since i don't really like the luna/donnelly dynamic all that much. and i know i'll likely check out the new series centered on the cobalt brothers, for nothing else than the hopes of glints of jane, rose, and audrey, bc i love them.

My heart is going to explode from all this love.
While I'm so very happy that I read this and it has brought me so much joy over the years, I'm also sad at the prospect of this being somewhat of a finale. Of having to see them all grown up and separate from the cluster, the mess, the laughter and the heartbreaks.

A warning though. This is is going to be a very biased rating and review, colored by my pure adoration and devotion to these characters and this world.

From crying, smiling too wide and FEELING ALL KINDS OF MELANCHOLY with the Core Six and then witnessing their children create even more of a mess of their lives has been a beautiful journey. Through the scorn and the brutal one star reviews, I still believed and loved this series and I'm so happy I read it and decided to stick around.

Moffy and Farrow will always be my favorite. Hands down. Because they started this obsession. Later, it grew into this immense love for every single character of this huge family. The bonds were tight-knit, and so very real and beautiful to read about (it is one of the best family dynamics I have read till date) and SFO (I have never been more invested in people's lives like this until now).
I was rooting for them all.

This book. At first, it was underwhelming. So many tangents that I didn't know where it was all going to go (didn't particularly care about the Fizzle takeover and the competition or the tension among the Donnellys) but I was ready to take all the crumbs I could get from all of them, and what a finale this was.
But Luna and Donnelly - they were flawed, they were broken but the way they were with each other, the way they held on to their hope, their weirdness and their unshakeable belief in each other had me sobbing.

Moments that bowled me over:

# The dynamic between Lo and Donelly
# The Yale Boys and SFO - the little flashes were not enough
# Charlie and Luna (I didn't see it come it coming, but I'm not unhappy about it at all)

“But I think deep-down, you would try to move mountains for them, if they really needed you. You just maybe don’t feel all that needed, and sometimes, you like it that way. Because it’s easier than watching people you love fail over and over again

# Ripley is too cute, I can't.
# This.
And then I realize…” Leo grips the bar casually. “You are nothing without me, and I’m nothing without you.”
They share this deep, fiery look—like an aggravation is burning a hole through both of them from their unceasing rivalry, stoked by their ballet company

Add in Jo and I'm a goner.
# Frog and Quinn. If they don't end up together, it will be a terrible crime.

I'm not going to survive when the next series drops. I've been waiting for way tooo long for the Cobalts to just destroy me and leave me in ruins.

“I’d like to think that those who know us best will say there was nobody like us. That we left this world how we lived inside of it.”

And one more series is coming to an end. This book was exactly what one would expect for Luna and Donnelly’s last book. That pretty much summarizes whatever I’ll say next.
I loved it. For all the bad things I felt reading ULU, they’re all good now.
First of all, I loved seeing Luna’s development and growth. She matured so much since the first book, finding out more about herself, her passions and path for her to follow. I loved following her as she was learning more of who she was before the accident, and who she wants to be now. And honestly, I kind of hate how all her memories didn’t explicitly return (even in the epilogue), but I can make a pass, because for the ones she remembers during the timeline of the book, at least there were good contexts and scenes.
Now, Donnelly, how can someone be so good and pure, and never lose hope or stop dreaming, after all the bad things he had to endure his entire life will always be a mystery for me—but I guess that’s just who he is. I loved to learn more about how he could overcome it all, and make peace with his past life and family.
And I love them as a couple. They can be all cringe and ridiculous but I couldn’t care less about people’s what elses. They’re quite literally everything. They make sense and understand each other in ways no one else can. And as Donnelly said—it’s been written in the stars, they were fated to find each other. Their growth—together—and the way they always manage to overcome all problems thrown at them was so precious, and their connection and feelings, magnetical. They’re enchanting.
I loved following them in this new and (probably) last chapter of their story (at least told by them). It’s always beautiful to read a story that feels so real and beautiful about a love being born and blooming—and in their case, especially for Luna, it even happened twice.
And lord, how hard can it be to say goodbye to characters I know I'll be seeing soon enough for *at least* 10 more books of *at least* two different new series, plus standalones? I kinda don;t want to think about it, but hey, at least it’s a book by Krista and Becca Ritchie, so *at most* by the end of next year, I know they’ll be back.

Let me start this review by saying that I have not been a fan of any of these books. They have ranged from disappointing (Jane - Thatcher) to predictable and overused (Maximoff - Farrow) to outright terrible (whatever Sulli and her sidekicks were).

That being said, I have (like a lot of readers) stuck around for the legacy and nostalgia of the Core 6 (or 8), and the hope of the Cobalt Empire.

So I actually do not want to review Luna and Donelly’s romance since I find them lackluster at best and cringe and awfully blank at worst. I have no connection to either of them, they feel way more two dimensional in their respective POVs than from other’s perspectives.

Sadly, that is a trend I have seen in these books. Fleshed out characters with a real drive and motivation in other POVs, get somehow downgraded and demoted by their inner monologues.

And maybe that is one of the problems; KBR seem to not understand the concept of plot. I see that they mention they “plot out” their books… I have yet to see an actual red line that gets us from point A to B. The Likes Us Series was an amalgamation of randomized shots in the lives of shallow and passive MCs, with no real depth or meaning.

Donnelly feels like a bad copy of Farrow; not cool enough, not wise enough and not interesting enough to fill the pages of 3 full length novels.

His inner thoughts range from hydration (his gf “pussy”) to WaWa and a strong and redundant Philly accent.

His terrible backstroy, which would make for an actual insightful monologue, is completely lost to his rumiation about miniscule things that do nothing to forward the story. What a missed opportunity to make a fleshed out, pained and somewhat insecure character - learn the meaning of true family and find his own meaning in the world and his identity. Instead we get Farrow 2.0, but without the intelligence or charisma.

As for Luna, she is as passive as all her predecessors. KBR have a knack of detroying all female characters, making them whiny, insecure, weirdly incompetente, weak and malleable.

Jane and Sullivan a side, I did have some hope for Luna. Hope that she would be the outstanding female MC, that would make readers see the fortitude in her. The years of bullying or media attention, the stress of lost memories of a past she does not remeber. Who are you withouth your memories? As fascinating as those questions are, we are sadly never going to get those answers. The amnesia trope, as tedious as it is, can lead to interesting plot lines, it can push a character forward in reforging their life, build new bridges and exploring what it means to not remember certain parts of yourself.

KBR instead centered Luna around her sexuality, her codependency to Donnelly and her utter lack of active thought. Again, I am very disappointed and feel Rose a mile away from any of the other female MCs.

I do want to touch upon the (repurposed) plot of the Fizzle CEO race. If we lived in real reality none of these kids (and yes, they are children) are fit for taking over the role. The only person who might come close to is would be Charlie in the future due to his intellect. I understand that KBR wanted to make Luna “win” something, but is goes against everything her character stands (or stood) for. She is the weirdo, the one that doesn’t fit in, the creative writer, the lost-in-the-clouds characters that should have offered us a view into escapism and how bleak reality can be for her. I personnally would have loved to see Luna take over Superheroes&Scones, or become the creative writer behind a comic book franchise, or become part of their marketing campaign. Again, there were so many option for Luna to find a happy and fulfilling and meaningful end. Another missed opportunity in my opinion.

I don’t really want to get into more detail, but all of the Like Us Series, feels shallow and umbereably monotonous. The characters lack depth and do not ring true at all for me. I think Maximoff and Farrow are maybe the only couple that could potentially be saved (if they had 2 books instead of 4), but all their interactions start and stop with something sexual.
I want to address one other point before moving to the main reason I am leaving a review (the Cobalts of course).

I have spoken about Sexism and KBR sexist approach to their female characters before, but I do want to give my honest thought on the whole franchise.

I am very deeply disappointed in two female writers, and their choices to portray female MCs in such a depressing light. There is nothing wrong with being insecure or needing help or even rescue, there is nothing wrong with a protective boyfriend/husband, or needing your partner or relying on them. Those are all great attributes. However, the problem lies within the passiveness and complete incompetence of ALL female characters (exception of Rose and maybe Kinney, Jo and Harriet). I am devastated to read yet another book about a YOUNG girl in a relationship with an OLDER and more experience, protective and snakry male MC. I have had it. I am so done with the portrayal of these young women, that seem to have nothing going on in their lives before the male MC shows up. Even Sulli, a supposed gold olympic medalist, is remarkably dull and insufferable. They all lack motivation, brains and charisma and have legit nothing going on for them.

Moving on, before I get too heated, I want to adress the Cobalts and the upcomign Cobalt Empire series (which we know very little about).

Starting with Ben, since he will be the one opening the brothers series.

Did I think it was smart to start with his book? Maybe. Listen, we all know book MCs are driven by a maketing/sales plan as much as a creative decision. And so yes, I understand why they chose Ben (still pretty unknown to us) over Eliot or fanfavorite Charlie. I think he will be able to offer a POV where we, the readers, get to see NYC Cobalt world through the eyes of a newby like Ben.

Ben as a character feels very different from the one we met at the beginning. No longer does his innocence shine through, but we see a very dark aspect to his character. I enjoyed it, although, in true KBR fashion, they went completely over the top with it. I am here for the drama.

Love interest: Harriet feels like she could be a good snarky strong MC, however as my review shows I have very very very little faith in KBR writing a good female character. The scene of her and Ben (rescuing her from a teacher) is already eye-roll worthy.

Relationships: Very interested to see how Ben - Charlie plays out. I feel like they have so much going on that is will be fun to unveil. Also Ben - Beckett how that bridge will hold up in the future.
If Harriet is going to be his LO, we could also see some interesting scene with Tom and her “feuding”.

Tom, for me a very underutilized character. KBR doesn’t seem to take much time in crafting a characterization for Tom. For now we do not know who his LO will be (maybe Phoenix?) or exactly what his future holds. I think he could be an intersting MC in the future, given he gets the chance for some plot and character growth. For now he seems like Eliots +1.

That bring us to Eliot himself, I really like his character, I think there is a very interesting element of “false greatness” to him, in sense that he portrais to be the perfect mischief god, but is actually riddled with insecurities. I hope we get to see him and Charlie team up in taking down the “bad guys”.

Charlie, the outstanding character of the whole LU series. He is everything I want from a character: morally-grey, remote, emotioanlly conflicted, deep-thinking, black soul and a whole lot of intelect and cunning. I am so gratefuly to have a flawed and real characters, someone who know exactly who they are and do not try to pretend otherwise. There is a fortitude in Charlie, in knowing he will always be on page to make a scene better, to elevate the dialogue or to create utter devastation. He is a catalyst for the whole of the LU series, and is in the center of almost all unfolding events. If I had to give a trophy for outstanding character I would give it to him by a looooong shot. Thank you Charlie for being a character that takes action, that feel emotion on a deeper level and that tries so hard to keep people away, while also needing their love and attention.

LO: Roxanne Ruiz (unsure about her).

Last but not least Beckett, I think we have seen so little of what this character can offer. I think we have just skimmed the very top of the silent and deep lake of Beckett’s mind. He is seemingly unruffled by everything, and we see him be a pillar to his brothers and the one that is the rock to them. I hope we seem him loose some of that control in the upcoming series. LO: Joanna (high hope for her, for now my favorite female character after Rose. Please DO NOT make her into whatever the others are, and Leo who could be interestingly antagonistic).

That wraps up my review (long, sorry). I am dissappointed in the LU series and their characters and wish that the Cobalts have better stories to live and share.

Until then xo

I loved this book so much I almost threw up. I am not exaggerating... like there were times I almost threw up because I was crying so much.

Not only was this everything Luna & Donnelly deserved, but I think every side character had their moment, and it also set up the Cobalt series so perfectly.

No one has suffered like Luna and Donnelly have suffered. To finally see them reach their peace and happy ending was indescribable. You cannot read this book and still doubt these two are soulmates. In every timeline, in every universe. They both go through so much growth, acceptance, and healing in this book, and it brought tears to my eyes.

We also got to see every side character. We even saw Willow & Garrison and Poppy & Sam! But the biggest stars were the Cobalt brothers and Xander. This book has set up that series so well, and I just know we're in for an inside ride in NYC with them. I have a feeling the Cobalt series is going to be very, very messy.

This book 100% felt like an end of an era, it wrapped up the arcs of the characters we've already read from while leaving so many possibilities out there for the other characters.

more maximoff, less donnelly 💖💖💖

i couldn’t care less that this is his own book the amount of times i rolled my eyes is crazy him and luna are sooo nauseating and not in the cute fun giddy way marrow were.

kbr wanted this to be the some kind of perfect of the series so bad, but we could’ve ended with headstrong like us and i would’ve been happy. i feel like i know these characters better than those twins likeee … lo wouldn’t allow donnelly anywhere near his family over #that situation in ulu. im tired of him being bullied into approving of these grooming relationship.

maximoff does not fw donnelly at all and i love my him baddd for it. farrow needs to get hit in the head or smth bc his blind defense of donnelly is gross. like pls remember where your Real priorities lie.

another thing im not rocking w, why does every character kbr touch get pregnant/have a child barely a year into their relationship with their significant other. THEYRE ALWAYS LIKE IN THEIR 20s TOO? these famous ppl should be in the CLUB not stuck in the house taking care of a newborn.

alphas like us was the last genuinely good book in this series. kbr fumbled Bad. the two stars is for the tiny tiny marrow moments + hale siblings.

“Who wouldn’t love a Lunnelly?”

Nobody Like Us absolutely fed me all the Lunnelly love, moments, and growth I wanted and needed and also gave me so many crumbs from future potential stories to glimpses at the OG Addicted/Calloway crew. The love story between Luna and Donnelly always shines bright for me, but the non-romantic relationships in these last three books truly have a huge chunk of my heart. The way Lily and Lo have grown as parents and quasi-parents to Donnelly truly gave me so much joy. I love them so much.

I have so so many things I could say about this book and so many moments in this book that had me smiling, crying, laughing, swooning, sweating, but all I know is that I am so happy Luna and Donnelly made it to their HEA. It was written in the stars, I know, but the anticipation to forever is sometimes a little stressful as a mere reader. Anyway. Highly recommend to lovers of the Like Us series or even the Addicted/Calloway series from the same authors. I feel that these last three Like Us books truly returned to the balance of love story, life story, angst and found family that captivated me in those books.

Of course my only complaint is that it’s over. 800ish pages, thousands of annotations, and I’d still happily read more and then some. Can’t wait to see what the Ritchie’s give us in their next publishing chapters. I know it will be everything.
