This is book eight of the Dragon Rules series and this time it is Rhadan who is called to meet his mate, a mate he never expected to have, especially with the curse of his special ability. He was on his way to go back to sleep in the dragon caves, when he was called by Adara the mother of all druids on Earth, telling him to he needed to get to his mate in town within the hour, before the dark mage, Allorin, could grab her. He is told she is Tempest and she is the last circle holder, the gatekeeper needed to get the temple connection opened to the world Adara is stuck on, so she can come to this world. Allorin has known her since she was a child, and knew she might be a druid, but she was blinded in the accident that killed her father. She doesn’t trust men, nor dragons, after being raised by Devlin, a follower of Allorin, who controlled her mother’s mind and destroyed her childhood. Rhadan fears his power will make Tempest love him and be obsessed with him, like everyone else he comes around. His radiance draws people to him and he can even make dragons and others do what he wants them to, with just his voice. It is embarrassing, but also deadly, as he found out in his youth! Thankfully, it seems Tempest is immune to his radiance and gets annoyed ay him attracting all of her married customers, not that he is even trying to, but Tempest refused to go upstairs to talk to him, away from others.
The dark mage wants to ensure dragons are obliterated and killing off all the druids would ensure that. There are dark dragons, woken by the words of Allorin, easily persuaded to the dark, to help kill off their own kind. Legion had been awaking dragons from the caves, but many are more comfortable staying asleep rather than live without a mate and possibly go dark. Rhadan was told by Adara, that his day would not go as he might expect, especially since Tempest knows the other druids who have mated to other dragons, so he could have thought she would know a bit more about what a mate means to a druid. Unfortunately, her past has influenced her reactions, especially her mother’s relationship with Devlin, following him like a puppy, with no signs of the mother she used to be when her father was alive. When her mother die, Devlin was going to marry Tempest, to make her his own as well, something she refused to allow. Rhadan can sense her magic coming out, something that shouldn’t happen until she is twenty three, meaning that the dark dragons will also be able to pick up on it and be coming for her. He needs to protect her and will do all he can to protect his mate, but she isn’t exactly making this very easy for him! Tempest wants to help save Adara, but she refuses to allow another dragon to control her life. She can’t visit the temple within the dragon caves, not being able to walk safely amongst all the loose stones on the floor.
The more irate she gets with him, the more her powers start to reach out to his magic, allowing her to see the colours of it reaching out to him. Strange since she has been blind since a young age. She soon finds that Rhadan can read her mind, as the bond between them grows. Rhadan feels the mate bond, but has to hold himself back from actually taking advantage of that until she comes into her powers, which is supposed to be on her twenty third birthday, about a year from now. Allorin turns up outside the shop and wants Tempest for himself, not knowing Rhadan is her mate, and has turned up with a couple of dark dragons as muscle. Somehow Allorin has managed to create a spell to reduce Rhadan’s ability to influence him, but not the dark dragons with him and they soon have to leave, but will no doubt be back! During this time, a young woman came to apply for a job in the shop and Tempest had to interview her, when Mara was delayed. Sam had only been in town for a week or so, and both Tempest and Rhadan can sense she is hiding something. They don’t get the chance to figure it out, when Allorin returns and manages to grab Sam, using his version of Radiance on her and the dark dragons with him! When Rhadan manages to get her free, she runs off, without them getting any answers from her. Next Rhadan takes Tempest for a flight on his back and she is drawn to a building Devlin kept items in and she finds her circle. They get a message from Adara that she must gather her fellow druids and get to the temple by midnight the next day to perform the ritual to open the connection, but it will not be without sacrifice and a sudden attack by Allorin and his dark army. A battle is coming and Tempest will be key to ensuring whether they succeed in getting Adara to this world and protect all dragons and druids, but she will be reluctant to lose a cherished friend as death calls for them! Lots happening and I can’t wait to see what will happen in the last one of the series and I have a bit of an idea who might be involved already. Poor Rhadan has a power that is darker than any of his other brethren. Using it is automatic and he has to avoid other people as much as possible, especially humans, as they don’t have any protection against it. Adara tells him that he needs to get to his Druid mate immediately as she is in danger. Tempest is the last circle holder so she must be protected at all costs, or the temple that Adara is in, as well as all the druids and the dragons would die out. As the druids are the only mates for the dragons. Tempest is blind and her protector female wolf, Daisy is awesome. Tempest thinks that she is protected at the store and doesn’t need a mate. She had always ignored the other druids that had found their mates. The interactions between Rhadan, who is absolutely god-hot, and Tempest are hilarious and some are hot and steamy. Finding out what Tempest had to go through growing up was absolutely heartbreaking and made me cry.
The Fight to free the temple in this book is epic. As the last circle holder, it is Tempest’s job to open the gate between worlds and let it thru. But not all is at it seems and the dragons and druids are in deeeeeeep trouble. Drat, Allorin and his dark dragon followers. I loved this book. I can’t wait to see if there are any others, I hope there will be a book for the newest hire of the store, Samantha.

Rhadan is a dragon and his power is to be able to command anyone. He discovers that he has a mate and her name is Tempest. She is in danger and if he doesn't rescue her she will be lost. Although he is a little off because his mate will be accepting of him because of "magic" he will care for her. Then he meets her and realizes she does not bow to his requests at all. She is immune to him. Then the dark mage comes for Tempest and Rhadan has to protect her. Tempest is trying to keep her independence but after the encounter with the dark mage she needs to know more. Will she accept Thadan? Will she be able to accept Rhadan?
A moving story that will enthrall the reader.

I like that the stories are standalone for the couple. There is a back story so they should be read in order. The couple gets their deserved HEA.
Rhadan's "gift" is unique and he has a second "gift". He thinks he is cursed. I like how Tempest slowly convinces him that his " gift" is a miracle and it has a purpose. Now and in the future. I liked that she is immune to his allure. He had to work to get her to even acknowledge him.
Twists, steam to the romance, acceptance and protectiveness make this a wonderful story.

Amazing series! Rhadan has people falling at his feet. The only thing he wants is for a person to love him for who he is and not because of his power. Well the fate listened because his mate Tempest is immune to his power. Now he just has to win her over and keep her safe from the dark dragons. This is an awesome story. It goes to show you looks go only so far. Tia really stepped up the game with this storyline. As this story is part of a series that I highly recommend. Totally invested and don't want it to end.

Rhadan and Tempest are two very different people. Rhadan, a dragon, has compulsion radiating from him and Tempest is a blind druid. They are destined to be mates and Tempest is not impressed with Rhadan when he comes to protect her. They will learn to work together as Tempest is the Gatekeeper of the temple and they must save Adara being destroyed. I enjoyed reading this book which is full of emotions, drama and a happy ending.

Dragon Rhadan and blind druid Tempest are fated mates with a lot on their to-do list. Terrific characters and a highly detailed, emotional and dramatic storyline bring forth plot lines that will stay with you for quite a while. Great backstories, sassy banter, danger, hidden agendas, lots of magic and omens. Loved their chemistry, the vivid locales and the steamy moments. Totally enjoyed the story and hope the next book comes out soon.

Druids, Dragons and Evil Plots
Dragons and druids, what a great combination that enticed me to give this author and series a read. It did not disappoint. Rhadan and his power combined with his blind druid mate Tempest intertwine with a dark plot lurking in the distance for years. I loved the action, danger, suspense and steamy as this paranormal plot was exciting and intriguing with its unique take on this genre.

Rhadan is the eighth book in the Dragon Rules Series. This is Rhadan and Tempest's story. This was a great read. Rhadan, who believes he is cursed, races to his fated mate's side when he finds out she is in danger. When he realizes she is immune to his powers, he is overjoyed. But now he must fight to keep her safe from dark powers. This story is full of danger, excitement, intrigue, and a lot of love. Great read.

This is Book 8 of Dragon Rules Series starring Rhadan and Tempest. WOW that was incredible and definitely worth the drama and danger. I felt sorry for Rhadan and have to say finding Tempest changes his life in unexpected ways and helps Tempest find new balance and uncover past pains and lies. I can’t wait to read the next book.

This eighth book in the Dragon Rules series Rhadan is a sizzeling good Paranormal Romance filled with action-adventure,
magic,deadly plots,intriguing characters,mystery, and dragon shifters. Nicely written and fast paced the story of Rhadan and Tempest brings together another couple in a story of fated mates and the battle for the dragon races survival against evil.
An all around enjoyable read!.

I really loved this story. Tempest is blind and Rhadan has a power that attracts people and makes them obey him. Tempest is different and she doesn’t fell his power as others do. Rhadan loves that she was not attracted to him because of his power.
Allorin is also up to something bad and they have to stop him again. Good thing is there will be more books! Love this series.

I’m crying !! Truly , this story is the best of the 8, and it has such highs and lows, it’s scary. Tempest and Rhadamanthus and the rest are finally at the moment they have all been waiting for; the return of the Temple, but at what cost to our beloved characters? In my opinion, this is the best book of the series, and possibly the worst, you will have to read it to see why I feel this way. 5✨’s !!!.

What a wonderful story. We follow Tempest and Rhadan. Tempest is blind. Rhadan has powers that make people obey him, which can sometimes be a blessing and sometimes a curse. He also finds it a relief that she doesn't get anything from him and feels like the others. She feels a click and attraction between them. A great story and definitely worth reading.

Loved reading all about the rule dragon clan and this story was not a disappointment. Loved reading this book. It was such a page turner that I am sad that the book has ended. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Rhadan and Tempest have a dangerfilled and thrilling adventure. These two are complex, dynamic and well written characters. Their story is emotional and moving. It has a fast pace that made me not realize how fast the pages were turning. This is n engrossing and incredible addition to the Dragon Rules series.

This was an exciting addition to the series and I loved how different the main characters were. Rhadan is a dragon shifter with a VERY unique gift, and Tempest is a blind druid. With richly detailed world building, great characters, witty banter, drama, danger, emotions and steamy chemistry, the author has penned a page turner. I'm really looking forward to the next book :D
