Nirvana means “extinguishing of fire, “and it justifies it. You'll feel at ease if you start reading the book at the end of your hectic. The poems written by Jyoti Patel take you to another world. The book is a collection of poems, quotes, and stories highlighting the lives of men, women, lovers, and many more. In a world where priority is only given to women, I felt at ease reading the poems that were dedicated to and highlighted the hardships of men.

“Love’s light conquers even the darkest paths, marking the victory of one’s journey.”- The quote highlights how love can diminish the darkness in our lives. We often shut ourselves from the world when we get our hearts broken, but it only escalates the gloominess of our lives. These are the quotes that kept me hooked to the poetry book.

“Oh, distant lands, your promise may be grand, yet in my heart, I long for native land. For true contentment lies not in the flight, but in the joy of living, day and night.”- This is one of the lines, I related with the most. We often think that if we move to a foreign land, we’ll get more opportunities, we’ll live a life with more ease, and have the luxury, but this is not always true. The foreign lands may look like they have so much to offer, but we’re only truly content when we’re with our people.

All-in-all the poems that this book has hits the right spot, and one can easily relate with them.

Nirvana- Raga, Dvesha, Moha is a well written collection of poems and beautiful stories by Jyoti Patel. Starting with the eye-pleasing cover which grabs attention at the first sight and moreover, the heavenly quotes delivering thoughts about love and relationships and more.

Loved the illustrations, they were definitely cherry on top. Books are my escape but books with beautiful illustrations and quotes are love! The thought that I loved the most is  “EXTERNAL BEAUTY WILL FADE OVER TIME BUT INTERNAL BEAUTY WILL NEVER FADE AWAY” and the poem that touched my soul is “THE KEY TO BLISS”.

It was definitely worth reading and I truly loved it! Will definitely recommend this book and can't wait to re-read it again.

Life itself is a collection of poetries and stories. It could be either peaceful or heartbreaking but time walks one. I critiqued poetries and short stories during my days as a High School Senior but for the first time, I will be reviewing poetry in the
public platform.

'Nirvana' is a collection of poems and short stories by the acclaimed author Jyoti Patel, who's known for her last motivational book 'Taekwondo: An Olympic Sport', and her debut 'A Sensation of A Soul'.

This book has introduced to the world between the clash of spiritualism and materialism. Secondly, it reminiscent of the Classical and Romantic Era of poetry. Furthermore, it even shares similarities with a post-modern Nobel Laureate Carol Anne Duffy for 'Rapture'.

Other than that, there are some deeper aspects of the sonnets such as 'The Silent Suffering', 'The Unwavering Love', commentaries such as 'Colors of Unity', 'Society's Whisper' and motivational 'In Loss, I Found Courage' and 'Waves That Roared' moved me into a manner that the author spoke about the aspects of her life.

The quotations are the self-explanatory points where the author matches the themes of both the stories and the poetry among it.

The language of the anthology looked simple but it has depth. Some of the morals could have been subtle, such as at the end spreading the message could have been a little more clever to leave the readers to interpret. But on the other hand, some had really clever writing that helps the reader to easily interpret the context of what's on to it.

As, I remember during her Wattpad days, her writings were quite raw and fresh but as a professional writer, she excelled her craft with such grace.

The poetries have all the tastes that are synchronized within. Be it onomatopoeia, tactile, auditory and visual, the book shows where it becomes graceful within. On the further note, it also has cultural roots.

Overall, it is a must read book till-date. I'm honest about this book and I mean it.

"NIRVANA - Raga, Dvesha, Moha" invites readers on an extraordinary literary odyssey through the rich tapestry of the human experience. With fearless precision, author Jyoti Patel masterfully navigates the intricate landscapes of relationships, love, parenthood, and societal issues, weaving together a compelling narrative that resonates with profound insight and emotional depth.

At the heart of this magnum opus lies a symphony of emotions, delicately composed to capture the essence of human existence in all its complexity. From the tender innocence of childhood to the poignant moments of death and heartbreak, each page is imbued with the raw authenticity of lived experience.

"NIRVANA" is noteworthy for its unflinching exploration of societal issues, from the insidious complexities of dowry to the transformative power of feminism. Through vivid storytelling and rich character development, Jyoti confronts readers with life's harsh realities while offering glimpses of hope and redemption.

The title and subtitle of this masterpiece serve as a compelling promise to readers, inviting them to delve deep into the recesses of their souls as they explore the universal themes of love, loss, and the pursuit of meaning. As readers embark on this literary journey, they are reminded of the inherent interconnectedness of all living beings, bound together by the universal melody of human existence.

It will act as a beacon of hope, a reminder that even in the darkest times, care, support, and true love can light the way towards a brighter future.

I would like to end this review with a few quotes from this book -
“Hope is the beacon that guides us through the darkest nights, illuminating the path to a brighter tomorrow.”

“Life is a relentless war; we must choose our battles wisely and fight with unwavering courage.”

This is probably the third or fourth poetry book of poet Jyoti Patel I went through and like always, I was as elated as ever to walk through the pages. Jyoti has exuded a rather gradual sign of betterment in her poetic acumen; and growth in maturity beyond her age through Nirvana: Raga, Dwesha, Moha.

The poetry book is often a gradual ride to what can be deciphered in its totality. The poems were a treat to read ever since the scourge of Instapoetry which has been meted out to the average poetry reader. There were poems on all topics; racism, valour, love, devotion. Compared to the previous poetry books, this one pays special attention to illustrations; depicting the overall theme of this book.

Followed by the poetry, were 30 quotes. The thing with quotes is that, it might be a hit or miss; and sometimes even when they’re far too relatable, it ends up falling on the “miss” side since what’s relatable might not be aspirational. It’s a risk and it’s a risk… well taken!

The illustrations bloomed through the pages, speaking about the wondrous talent of Ms. Patel and the quotes (most of which were based on love) speaks volumes about the best parts of the book.

Now, comes the part which I believed formed the “miss”. The longest format or the short stories. Normally, authors try their best shot with whatever they are going to put out with their first poem or the first story of the book and I believe the first story of the lot, felt a bit underwhelming. Don’t worry, yet. The stories do get better as you turn through the pages and the book reaches it’s end; a source of redemption for the overall artistry of the piece.

All in all, Nirvana is a tapestry of emotions carrying a theme of acceptance, peacefulness and wise words sprinkled all over and throughout the pages.

(I do not rate books these days as good or bad since I don't view it as a service like pizza delivery. The review is probably enough)

From happiness to sorrow to self-reflection, this book evokes multiple feelings and you can relate to the themes expressed in the poem. This book truly is a masterpiece. This book is a collection of 40 poems, 30 quotes, and six short stories. The stories in this book are simple in narration but deep with thought-provoking emotions. The 30 chosen quotes are just beautiful.

I find these quotes the best:
▪️Life isn't always what we make it, but it is shaped by how we respond to what it makes of us."
▪️In the comfort of routine, love can often be neglected, like a forgotten melody in a familiar song."

The stories and quotes are nice, but the magic of this book stays in its poems. The poetess has touched on different shades of life and nature through her poems. This collection begins with love and moves on to struggle, resilience, travel, and many more. She has also shared her opinion on societal problems and issues in a poetic way without creating any sort of dislike for those who do not share similar opinions. In short, this book will remain a cheerful delight for all poetry fans.

PS: A Silent Cry is the most special and contrasting poem in this book.

The author is a master of poetry writing as it can be seen from some of the books that were published by her before. She has again come up with an interesting book that justifies her style of amazing poetry writing.

The book basically has poems that talk about life's experiences and small moments and all these poems are presented with beautiful illustrations that enhance their beauty and make them more relatable to you.

The author has chosen the title very aptly to the narrative. She has explained the meaning in the starting of the book. You should definitely read that so as to get a better glimpse of the narrative. I found each one of the poem very heartwarming and will definitely recommend this book to my fellow readers.

"Nirvana - Raga, Dvesha, Moha" offers a rich, multi-layered exploration of life's profound and often challenging experiences.

The use of terms like 'Raga' (attachment), 'Dvesha' (aversion), and 'Moha' (delusion) in the title suggests that the book might incorporate elements of Eastern philosophy, examining how these mental states influence human behavior and relationships.

This approach could provide readers with a unique lens through which to view their own lives and the world around them.

The writing of the author is amazing. Absolutely loved the short stories and poems. Will highly recommend!

It's true beauty which addresses various topics beautifully and gracefully. I could relate with most of the poems realising I'm not alone facing struggle , anxiety and overthinking. We all have our doubts , we all deal differently with particular circumstances.

I really enjoyed reading this book . For poetry lovers like me , go for it. You'll definitely love this.

This book is a collection of sonnets and brief tales. The book contains every one of the feelings of an individual. These sonnets tell the story of sufferings and delights experienced in our day-to-day existences and how we gain strength to defeat the standards of unforgiving society. The Author shares individual stories blended in with significant bits of insight, making it a truly fascinating read.
