The two are forever changed once their worlds collide in the most beautiful way.
Though the phoenix knew the fire and the flames, it will soar again, illuminating the night sky with all its brilliance…
One of the most wholesome and beautiful books I’ve read in a while! 🥹 If you’re looking for a perfect young adult romance story that’s rooted in god, this is for you! It was so refreshing to read a story where the characters create a beautiful friendship that’s rooted in such kindness and innocence. Such a beautiful progression of friends to lovers and it felt so earned and not rushed. Not only does this book have the most wholesome friendship into romance, the books covers many real life/serious topics like mental health, ptsd, etc. Overall, such a well balanced book that’s paced perfectly and developed wonderfully! Especially perfect for young adults (high school) but really a book for EVERYONE! The book felt like a BIG warm hug and it was a perfect cozy read. I will never stop recommending it! 😊💛

Gabby Choi is a bright and kind high school senior. Despite troubles at home, she always has a smile on her face. Gabby's father is in the throes of PTSD after a tour in Afghanistan, and her mother is abrasive.
Trevor Song feels as if he's just drifting through life without purpose. He can see Gabby is struggling and wants to help her.
Gabby and Trevor form a beautiful bond that changes them forever in this wonderful story of resilience, hope, and miracles. Fly Again, Phoenix is written in such a beautifully wholesome way. The friendship between Gabby and Trevor bloomed into romance in a realistic and natural way, and I loved how the characters interacted. This novel balances the innocence and wonder of first loves with the difficult topics of mental health, PTSD, and difficult home life perfectly.
This novel, although categorized as a YA story, would be perfect for anyone. Fly Away, Phoenix is an uplifting read full of heart, warmth, and love.
Gabby Choi and Trevor Song are both going through individual hardships in their lives, but when their worlds collide everything changes for them in a beautiful way. "Fly Again Phoenix", is a book that will have you feeling comfort and hope again in your life. It's a sweet young adult romance, filled with stages of brokenness, found hope and redemption. With God in the midst bringing about light, miracles and faith, it is a beautiful redemptive story that I truly enjoyed reading. I highly recommend that you read this book too! 😊🥰💖.
This book is absolutely touching. As a person who did not experience the best childhood and has suffered with mental illness. let me tell you this felt like it was healing my inner child. The story is so relatable in so many ways as are the characters. Get ready to cry. I was left feeling the love of God and his almighty peace. This book should be sold everywhere and available for displaced or struggling teens to discover. Thank you Stephanie and Paul for a beautifully written well thought out book. You both work amazingly together.
Great YA book that touches on serious topics including PTSD, violence, familial pressures, depression and love. Definitely worth a read, especially for young readers!

Review: This book was such a beautiful, heartwarming read! The story felt relatable, have being involved with the military life for a greater of 6+ years.
There were so many scriptures and parts that related to God that I loved.
“The Lord is my shepherd I shall not be in want.”
“It’s like…a storm at sea…but the dawn is coming and will be still again.”
“Even in your life, Gabby, I transform the darkness into light, the curses into blessings,”
If you love stories about growth, second chances, and finding yourself again after loss, this one is for you. 🌿✨
