Love can be beautiful... but love can also be twisted and tainted by everyone who touches it...

Unfortunately for Emmy, this is the case... from friends to lovers, Emmy and Mark start their twisted journey into looking back at what went wrong 3 years ago.. with sight from both MCs' points of view, you learn the depth of mutliplation. Marks' father, Frank actually holds over them both...

Brilliantly written story by a debuting author.. I will definitely by watching out for another book.. ♡

Absolutely loved this book! It took me awhile to finish it because, life. The love story I never knew I needed. Lovers reunited after years of heartbreak. Secrets revealed. I loved the flashbacks of how life was before and in present time. Thank goodness Mark finally got his head out of his butt so him and Mimi could be happily in love!!! Definitely recommend!!

This second chance romance had me falling in love from the beginning! Song list in the book? YES please!!

Mark and Emmy were a match made in heaven. Between Mark finally getting his head in the game, Frank not meeting his demise, and the Josh twist?? I was caught off guard and so not ready, but I loved it entirely.

I can’t wait to see what Jenni has next in store with her writing and I’m excited to find out!

- I am so late posting all my reviews; however, this was a great read. I loved the little amount of spice that was in it and between Emmy and Mark. I loved their relationship. I am a sucker for a good second-chance romance and right from the get-go, it drew me in. I cannot wait to read more by this author. This was a really good second-chance romance, I devoured this book! I do have to say that I was super glad that Mark got his head out of his butt. Frank on the other hand could have totally met an untimely demise lol. Now the Josh twist holy cow I was not expecting that and was expecting something way different than what transpired! I love it when authors add a song list in their books for the chapters they correspond to, I feel like that makes it so much better while reading and then listening to the song it amplifies it in a way in my opinion. Also, the chapter with s3x scenes and what chapters they are (for people who would like to skip that) was a nice added touch which is great for those who are not really into that, me however I definitely did not skip them lol!

I'm excited to see what Jenni Catherine may give us in the future.

I just finished this book, and while reading it I had some issues with the excessive use of exclamation points when I felt some parts of the conversation didn't need them, but I carried on. I also feel like some of the flashback chapters between the present-day chapters were out of sorts, but in the end, they made sense in the grand finale.

I was glad that Mark finally got his head out of his behind, I wished Frank had met an untimely demise, but the Josh twist? I was expecting something completely different than what transpired.

I liked how there is a list of chapters at the beginning of the book, that allows you to skip chapters with s3x scenes in them (I didn't), but its a nice way for authors to allow readers that option. I also liked the song list with what songs related to which chapters.

I'm excited to see what Jenni Catherine may give us in the future.
