It's telling that all of the references cited at the back of this shallow and disjointed book are websites and/or digital materials. There's not one physical book that's listed. What you're getting is crib notes, not actual personal experience with working with Hekate. Check out the Keeping Her Keys podcast by Cyndi Brennan (a free source cited in this book) if you really want more detailed information about Hekate.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I don’t like giving books below 2 stars, but this book was an exception. When I flipped through the book before buying it, I thought it looked well organized and like it could be a good addition to my Hekate library and a resource for friends wanting to know some quick facts about Hekate. Sadly, the book is full of over generalizations, misinformation, and riddled with grammar issues. There’s even a place where there is just a “p” after the end of a sentence and its period.
I think this book would have benefited from an editor and not just scanning a handful of popular webpages for information. In places the information is just repetitive. Others it jumps thoughts midway through a sentence or a sentence is followed by one that doesn’t seem to flow with it.
I feel like I read someone’s notes for creating their personal practice, rather than an edited book.
Some of the herbs that it says to use as an incense, can be harmful if you burn them inside where you can breathe them in and are incredibly toxic for pets. Only hellebore has any warning.
I’m so disappointed in this book that I had high hopes for and I’m sad that I spent the money on a copy. I wouldn’t recommend this book. If you want actual historic information, there are many actual sources out there which actually give you information, instead of two sentences that just say something is ancient without any context or meaning. Just go to theoi.com yourself.
Not worth it at all - very shallow level of information, pretty sure it’s either written by AI or written without much care, and the “narrator” sounded terrible (pretty sure even the narrator is AI) with many words weirdly mispronounced.
