I always enjoy this author’s anthologies. I grew up watching The Twilight Zone and this collection of stories reminds me of those shows. Some have twists where the direction of the story goes nowhere near where you thought it would go. Some have a subtle lesson at the end. I recommend reading these instead of the news. At least Hudgins always leaves me smiling.
This book is an anthology which has lots of different stories. I absolutely love Steve Hudgins' work so I was very excited to see he came out with yet another book!

I absolutely love this book, I love everything Steve writes! This one has something for everyone, creepy, Vampires, Ghosts, Guts, Serial Killers etc etc. I had my head in this book from the get go and I barely came up for air.
As an avid fan of everything Steve Hudgins, you may think that I'm a little biased..but it's all his fault if I am 🤣 I double-dog dare you to read not only this horror anthology, but anything with his name attached! Steve never disappoints. His stories are frighteningly original, and he often somehow intertwines or hooks his individual short stories together in some way. I find this to be one of his most unique writing skills, as it brings even more suspense and fear to the table! Are you brave enough to accept my dare??
A hotel with spectres some of them dangerous. A young lady stranded on a deserted road and forced to accept a lift from a creepy individual who has plans for her. An elevator in the forest leading to death. I enjoyed reading these and the other stories in the book which were rivetting and intriguing. Eagerly waiting for the next volume.
A fun and entertaining book of short intriguingly spooky stories. Well worth a read. I hadn’t heard of Steve until I read this book. I shall definitely read more of his work.
I enjoyed this book a lot. Twenty three short, some very short, stories of horror. Obviously, some better than others, if you didn't like one read the next. What was interesting was there are several stories that involved only two characters, the first story was told from the perspective of one character and the next from the other. That resulted in several interesting stories I hadn't seen in a book. Its a quick read and I intend to find more of the author's books.
