The melanin rich cowboys have entered the chat and a bish is ready to saddle up and go for a ride!!! 🐎 🪢 Beauden gave BDCE and I was all the way here for it.
It’s that time of year again for Yelena’s firm and this year’s end of year company retreat is being hosted at the Phoxes Den Ranch. Looking forward to an immersive ranch experience complete with cow milking, horseback riding and an ice fishing excursions, Yelena is ready for Christmas at the ranch.
Beauden Phox is the sexy cowboy and owner of the Phoxes Den Ranch and needless to say it’s his pride and joy! His love for his ranch and livestock is evident in the way he breeds and cares for them. He has 20 acres of pure heaven and he makes sure that it’s equal parts luxury and ruggedness. He’s settled into the ranch life and between the income he collects from the ranch as well as his investments, he’s set for life. He had no idea that this year’s executive retreat would bring him a beautiful boss ass b*tch that he would ultimately claim as his.
I absolutely loved Yelena and Beauden’s chemistry. They were a whole vibe and their instalove flowed really well in the story without feeling forced or unnatural. It was clear that Beauden wanted Yelena and he was never one to beat around the bush when it came to making his desires known to Yelena. He was a firm believer that “A man isn’t complete without his peace and a woman isn’t without her protection.” He was determined to be all that and more for Yelena and when she finally gave in, it was a beautiful thing!
The holiday aspect of the book was good but wasn’t the over the top Christmas experience I’ve been searching for! Despite that, it was the perfect angst free holiday read with no tragedy or heartbreak involved. I was able to enjoy the book without sitting on the edge of my seat in suspense.

A book about black cowboys, black ranchers, and black horse trainers?!!! Yes please! Packs my bags and cowboy boots and moves to the hill country expeditiously because, I’m officially on the hunt. 🤠🤠🤠
Yelena is headed to a quaint little country town called Miller’s Pointe for her company’s annual leadership retreat. Sis is a city girl through and through so, being forced to bond with coworkers she barley likes on a ranch was not on her Christmas list to Saint Keenan. You see what I did there? 😏😏😏 Her attitude quickly changes when she arrives at the Phoxes Den. An upscale bed and breakfast on a ranch is not what she was expecting nor was she expecting the proprietor of the ranch to be a sexy six foot cowboy hat wearin’ God. Beauden hates city folks in his space and on his ranch but, it’s a necessary evil. Renting the main estate lodge exclusively for corporate retreats is how the ranch stays profitable during the winter months when other ranches are hurting financially. So, when he meets Yelena after “saving” her from Billy’s bad azz he, too, has a change in attitude. These two were perfect for one another. The attraction was instant and their chemistry was intense. Beauden was the protective cowboy warrior Yelena didn’t know she needed and Yelena was the peace Beauden was missing. He’s feelin’ her and she’s definitely feelin’ him but, girlfriend has a whole life and career in another state. Beauden just has to convince Yelena everything she needs is right there in Miller’s Pointe at the Phoxes Den. I absolutely loved this book. Honestly, I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did but, the cowboys showed up and showed out and gave me all the small town holiday feels. Beauden and Yelena’s book was the perfect start to this series.

Listen I’ve been waiting on this Cowboys Christmas Books since November and can say I’m am pleased.
This year, Yelena's workplace is holding its annual retreat at Phoxes Den Ranch. A handsome cowboy Beauden who owns and operates this ranch. Because of Charity, I wish to locate a cowboy and move on a 20-acre ranch. As soon as Beauden laid eyes on Yelena, he knew exactly what he wanted. Yelena, being a calculating accountant, was processing everything as the days passed. Yelena learned how to ride a horse, milk a cow and pet a goat … while she was on Beauden's horse, if you get what I mean 😉. A sprinkle of holiday and Christmas spirit was bestowed to us. I liked the instalove between Yelena and Beauden. Beaudens self-assurance in their relationship allowed Yelena to risk falling in love with a guy she had only known for a week.

Although that absolutely, delicious book cover, pulled me in, it was the "hawt" chemistry between Yelena and Beauden that kept me turning the pages.
I am not a fan of freezing cold weather as well as snow, but the description of the lodge made me want to pack up the luggage and go there immediately. I also admired the cooperative working relationship between Beauden and his staff. Mutual respect all around!
However, I hated the use of the "N" word and felt Beauden rushed Yelena into a decision that she would have made anyway, fine as he is!!!!! loll!!!!!!
Awesome job Ms. Charity!

This story was so sexy. I had been waiting for these black cowboys stories since the announcement was made. It is safe to say I was not disappointed one bit. Beauden's stoic demeanor and BDE were panty-wetting sexy. Yelena's a young executive in the corporate world. At a company holiday retreat, she meets Beauden and immediately sparks start flying. Their attraction was immediate and neither fought it. After giving into their carnal desires, real feelings start to emanate. Decisions need to be made and I guarantee those decisions will leave you smiling hard.
Although I wanted a bit more Christmas, I looved this one!

At first glance, Yelena came off as the bourgeois city girl, who would never survive in the country. Well with her hand forced by her boss with their annual retreat, off to the ranch she goes. She can't deny how beautiful the place is, all the open land, and sexy the black cowboys and men as far as they eyes can see. This may not be so bad after all she thinks. Especially when she meets Beauden's sexy ass! 🤩
Beauden is all about making his money, and nothing else. Yes, he has a corporate group coming in, but he has no time for them and the women just looking for a good time. He wants something substantial, and real. So, he walks around frowning at the world, as he tries to navigate his way through ANOTHER retreat! When he happens upon a woman in distress, he is not ready for the beauty he encounters. Not the brooding cowboy lowering his guard as soon as he laid eyes on Yelena! Say it ain't so. He felt immediate peace in her presence, and knew she was the one. Operation make her mine is in full effect! Beauden was applying that pressure whew! 🥵 He was locked in and would do anything to get Yelena to stay with him.
Yelena is mesmerized with this man! Sexy, black cowboy, with smarts, great business sense, all this land, and fantastic D! Yes, please and thank you lawd! 😂 However, being a numbers girl, she had to rationalize, and everything needed to make sense to her. How are feelings so strong for a man I've known a week? The cover alone was the right amount of incentive to want to see what was behind this dynamic face. Beauden matched the energy I needed for this story. He was a ranch owner who allowed corporations to use his ranch for bonding activities. Yelena was the only member of the group who resembles Beauden. The pair made a quick connection after the goat named Billy scared Yelena, and the rest is romance story history for this couple.

3.5☆ This is a quick, heartwarming holiday story about a polished 'city girl' on a corporate retreat at a gorgeous ranch. I fell a little bit in love with Beauden, starting with that cover, because what the actual hell that man is too damn beautiful. It's a bit insta-lovey, but that's ok because it mostly fits the overall cozy, low-angst feel of the narrative. The steam was steam-ing!Yelena kept it real about how she felt in that tense vanilla-cookie-cutter-corporate dynamic, and you could just sense the extra pressure to prove herself that pervaded everything. I did get a bit impatient and antsy toward the end when Yelena
I enjoyed the meet-cute facilitated by Billy the Goat. 😆 Eddie as the assistant/best friend was on point; I loved his character and his input about taking risks and opening your mouth to ask for what you want/deserve! One of my favorite quotes from him:

I love my black men!!
A black cowboy, I’d love to see in person. Anyways their love story was cute. I didn’t like the way Yelena was debating leaving or not but I get overthinking. I also get her hesitation cause they hadn’t know each other that long. But he fell first and hard and I was here for it.

I absolutely loved this story. Yelena is on her annual holiday retreat with her job. Beau and Yelena cross paths when Billy scares Yelena; instant attraction is felt. I loved seeing Beau and Yelena fall for each other. I wouldn’t want to leave the Phox den either.

When I tell you this book gave me all the feels😍. Grab you some good flavorful chocolate that is Beau and snuggle up with the heart with open Yelena for a week to remember. This executive retreat was everything that Yelena did not know she needed. Everyone needs a keep it a buck assistant like Eddie. Still rooting for Todd to read MonaLisa the Riot act. Awesome quick read that puts in love with Christmas things and all the romance!

Peace
I loved the peace and protection vibe and the ranch and the jubilee sounded amazing. I think the story could have used a little more focus though. This was mostly about the time that spent together it would have been nice to have those moments fleshed out.

I had a time reading about Beauden and Yelena. I was giggling and squealing the entire book! It gave warm and fuzzy feelings with spice. Beauden is a cowboy who owns a ranch and Bed and Breakfast that he uses to host corporate events and retreats. Yelena works in accounting and her company’s annual retreat happens to be at Beauden’s estate. This story has instant attraction, city girl meets country boy vibes, and the chemistry oozed from the pages. Yelena described Beauden as “a tall, dark, and fine ass walking orgasm” and she flirted every chance she could, lol. 😮💨I could picture him in all his cowboy glory, it was the details for me!👏🏾. The characters were opposites but they had many similarities, including the fact that both were calculated in the way they moved. Beauden’s intentions were clear, he was crossing boundaries with the plan of making Yelena his forever. I know that’s right sir, who says you can’t find your soulmate in six days, lol!🥰 I truly enjoyed this book, I ran through the pages in one setting and I would easily take more of this couple. Ps, Yelena being afraid of the goat and the cow milking scenes were the highlights for me, I was laughing so hard. 🤣😭Read this book and trust me, you will enjoy this one!

Yes to the Black Cowboys at Christmas!
Beauden had been waiting for his one, and the calmness and attraction he felt upon meeting Yelena immediately let him know she was it. Beauden had a rule about engaging with guests and all of that went out of the door when he saw Yelena yelling scared of the goat. I appreciated the Instalove, but the way the author approached it, it felt like they had been in love over time. They slowly opened up to each other and their connection could not be denied. Brooding Beauden was very clear on what he wanted and made no qualms about her rightful place being in his arms. Sis was torn and had to decide if she was ready to turn her life upside down for a man she met for a week and I loved it.
I appreciated the Christmas references throughout the book. I would have loved if we would have gotten to spend Christmas on the page with them though. Great start to the Cowboys!

Paradise on Earth!
I can already predict that this series is going to be the one to read for the holiday season. Miller Pointe sounds like paradise with a simplistic, peaceful, thriving, atmosphere. Beauden's parents are living their best lives by eating from the land and growing their vegetables. Mrs. Eden was a better cook than all of the hired chefs Beauden had on his ranch. That alone spoke volumes and how much she loved the life her husband afforded her. Yelena struck gold when she got the scare of her life from Billy. He was the attention grabber she needed for Beauden to pivot his mind and thoughts on her. They were made for each other because they were more similar than they knew. His background in the corporate world aligned with her accounting career. Both of them knew the ins and outs of investments, finances, etc. Once Yelena's mind caught up with her heart she made the best decision of her life. She got the best of both of her worlds. She earned a promotion and gained the heart of Beauden. She also learned that time is not a concrete definition when it comes to falling in love. Love can happen in a millisecond or a week depending on the two people that are seeking it.

This story had everything of what Christmas is. The love, family, food and festivities. The MCs knew what they wanted and never looked back and don’t we love a man who knows what he wants?!
I am excited to read more about the family but also I must say I happy it did not end in baby. Ha!

Beauden and Yelena were too cute. I like how he knew what he wanted from the beginning and was just waiting on Yelena to catch up. I also understood Yelena’s hesitation because it was sudden and sometimes moving fast doesn’t work out. I’m glad it did for them though. Now on to the next book!
