If patience is a virtue was a person, that person would be Reese Jareau. The way he stayed the course to get his woman was commendable because, Corelli definitely did not deserve his grace. Reese has been smitten with Corelli since he first laid eyes on her. From the moment he met her, he declared her wifey and was ready to put a ring on it. But, unfortunately for him, she’s currently in an “it’s complicated” situation. Corelli has been holding her triflin’ azz baby daddy down while he does a five year bid and, when he’s released two years early, she tries her best to make their relationship work for Bellamy’s sake. Reese was definitely in his the heart wants what the heart wants era because, when most of us would’ve given Corelli our azz to kiss, he stayed vigilant and was determined to show her she deserved better. Reese was intentional, patient, understanding, loving, and forgiving. And, the bond he had with Bellamy was absolutely beautiful. He loved him some Tink and she loved her some Reesie Cup. When Corelli realizes her misguided loyalty and devotion were wasted on Miller, she walks away from their toxic relationship and finally puts herself and her happiness first. I’m glad sis woke up and found her common sense because, I was ready to run up on Corelli and whoop her azz. When I say she took Reese through it, she took Reese through it! She had my boy stressed but, their HEA was worth all the drama she put them through. I can’t believe the time has finally come to say goodbye to our favorite literary family. I have so enjoyed my time with the Jareau clan. These characters have taken us an emotional and eventful journey but, I loved every minute of it. I’d take this ride again and again.

Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is long suffering. Love is Reese! 🥰 Whew!!! The baby of the Jareau family captured my heart in this one. This cougar lover might’ve been the jokester of the family, but he was also intentional when it came to the love he had for Corelli and Bellamy.

After meeting at work, there was something about Corelli that had Reese stuck. Her home situation wasn’t ideal when it came to starting a new relationship especially since she was trying to hold down her jailbird baby daddy but Reese knew that good things come to those who wait. And he was willing to wait for Corelli to realize that home was wherever he was. During this waiting period, Reese prepared his mind body and soul for Corelli and the end result was everything.

The way y’all had me already hating Corelli based off y’all reviews was crazy 😆😆. Give my good sis some grace. She was young and in love with she met that no good 🥷and despite the dumb decisions that landed him in prison, you can’t just turn those feelings off. I don’t fault her for wanting a family for Bellamy. So often we as women sacrifice our own happiness for the sake of those we love and this is what Corelli did. I’m just glad she came to her senses before it was too late because Reese is a catch and I’d happily step up to the plate with my mitt.

KB did an outstanding job with this series! I fell in love with these siblings, their spouses and babies! I’m sad to see them go but a skilled author knows when to let a series rest in peace 🤣😭. Before I end this review I just want to say that we read about soooooooooooo many trash 🍑 book parents that I didn’t think good ones existed 😩 but the Jareau’s, mama Alicia, granny and even Jamison’s first mama in law made this series so much more enjoyable with the way they poured into these adults! I just loved every moment! Bravo KB 👏🏽 🎉

Reese is all grown up!

Reese has always been a cougar lover, finding himself attracted to a more seasoned woman. After meeting Corelli, who was seven years his senior he knew she was going to be his wife. However, it just wasn't an easy journey to love. I ain't gone hold y'all I did not like Corelli, she seemed to give Reese a chance by default😑. Like girl yo life is a mess and you wanna stay on the losing team be fr. Her loyalty was unfounded to me. Once she got her mind right I still side eyed her. However, the love between Bellamy and Reese was pure and beautiful. Their relationship was the shining star in this book. I appreciated Reese's journey from being a jokester to being a family man with a sense of humor.

Miller....hot trash. Him and his momma😒

The book was a little slow for me, but I did still really like it. I enjoyed catching up with the family members and I look forward to an invite to another Jareau wedding!

Corelli x Reese

Wow! At first, I was ready to say Corelli didn't deserve Reese. But I understood her. She had a soft spot in my heart, cause she was so selfless. She was solely living for her daughter, willing to sacrifice her happiness for the sake of her daughter.
Reese is the definition of patience and resilience. Silly, goofy Reese grew up to be a mature man, with a heart of gold and so much love to give. And lucky for Corelli and her daughter, Bellamy, AKA Tink, they were the recipients of this love. Corelli's loyalty to Miller was frustrating. Miller was showing his true color before he showed his true color and it kinda felt like she was turning a blind eye to it. But karma is a relentless bitch.
I love it when Corelli finally woke tf up and gave Ressie Cup and a chance to love her and Tink the way they truly so deverved.
As always, a pleasure was had with the Jareaus. These siblings have left a forever-lasting impression on me. I am extremely sad that this is the last Jareau sibling, but I am so ecstatic that I’m guaranteed an invitation to the last two weddings…maybe three if a certain lawyer decides to make it happen.
If you're not reading KB, make it your 2024 resolution to do so. Her catalog is insane…insanely good. She's a beast.

Chilee... dealing with Corelli requires Reese's immense patience. Despite being seven years older than Reese, I never really warmed up to Corelli. I get it; women often remain with their child's father to raise their children, but surely there are other advantages than displaying a two-parent family. Like healthy co-parenting. Frankly, I didn't think she would have been with Reese if she hadn't discovered what Miller was up to. I suppose she comes to her senses and decides to embrace Reese's love in the end... Over time, Reese and Bellamy's connection was refreshing and adorable. I can't help but appreciate Kimberly's ability to craft unique love tales for each of the Jareau siblings.

4.5 stars - I highly recommend following the author's recommended reading order, listed at the beginning of the book.

We finally get Reese and Corelli's book! Reese has been pining after Corelli for months. Reese has formed a beautiful connection not only with Corelli, but with her daughter as well. The problem? Corelli wants to try and make it work with her daughter's father, who was recently released from prison. While this devastates Reese, he ultimately falls back from his romantic advances, but that doesn't stop them from missing or wanting each other. Corelli gave Reese a lot of grief for being younger than her, but he was mature for his age, and knew exactly what he wanted.

Drama with Corelli's ex aside, I ate this up. Reese is the clown out of his brothers, and the one they thought would never take love seriously enough to settle down. When he found the right one, that changed and I was squealing watching him treat and sex up Corelli the way she deserved! Don't even get me started on him being a father figure to Corelli's daughter because my heart melted every interaction they had!

I can't wait until their wedding novella!

Uncle Daddy Reese

Y’all know how these Jareau men get down about their women. They are everything and Reese was no different. I loved him and I won’t lie - I almost wanted him to walk away from Corelli in the beginning. She was forcing herself to stay in a relationship for the sake of her child although that ship had sailed quite some time ago. Reese was out here single but waiting for her and she was being intimate with a man you claim to not want anymore.. I can understand being conflicted but it still got on my nerves 😭

I love the Jareau family. The banter between Mr. Jareau and Reese kept me giggling.

I loved Uncle Daddy Reese in this book. Reese done grew up. Corelli stressed me the beginning of this book. I get her being confused but never stay cause of a child. I loved Tink and Reese relationship that little girl was his heart. Now for Miller bxtch ass I’m glad he got his. The trash just took itself out..literally 🤣. I just love seeing this family expand in every book. I can’t wait for the wedding special 🥰.

It was touch and go for Corelli but, she finally got it together. Man she put Reese through a lot but, when she realized her Miller was trash and undeserving of her unwavering loyalty, Corelli finally walked away. As I got to the last chapter, it dawned on me that this is the last book in the Jareau Family series. I know we still have Alaina and Reese's wedding and Alicia and Issac's book but, this is the last sibling book and that makes me sad. I'm not ready to say goodbye. 😭😭😭😭 I'm really going to miss this family. Hopefully, Ms. Brown will give us a Christmas update on everyone.

Reese & Corelli…✨

Now I was truly waiting for Reese & Corelli story. Kimberly you definitely gave us a story, now Corelli was making me want to come into that book for sure. But it took the truth coming out for her to change her direction. Reese was a patient man for sure, and sometimes women do mess up a good thing waiting that mediocre thing to change for the better. Reese may have been a jokester, but he handle life like a grown ash man for sure.

That darn moment with Walker after the birth of his child 😫😭😍 yes I definitely started to cry and I am proud of it and I am glad they let Reese have Uncle Daddy 🤣. The relationship between Reesie Cup and Tinkerbell is the cutest thing I have ever read. I always say this but I truly love when authors can write children characters as their ages if that makes sense.

Dwayne was a bum and his mama was his enabler the slower leading the slow 🤦🏾‍♀️. I wanted to feel sorry for his character but they played on that young lady (Bianca) for sure.

This whole series will have you wanting more. I need Reese and Corelli wedding and the birth of their child I don’t want this to be the end 🤣. Key point why Kimberly Brown will forever be a 1-click author for me. I really love reading about the Jareau family and how they come together even during bantering with each other because they all have comebacks 🤣.

REESE AND CORELLI ❤️

The baby boy of the Jareau family has been hit with the love bug. Reese is known for his silly antics, and being the favorite uncle, he knew Corelli was the woman for him. The age difference didn't matter to him. I loved his relationship with Bellamy. Reese exuded grown man energy throughout this book, and it was up to Corelli to see that he was not going anywhere. I loved his patience with her, but when you love someone like he loved her, you don't give up so easily. They were definitely tested during their journey, but I'm glad they overcame it all.

Definitely Nothin’ Like them !!

That’s it guys that’s a wrap this was the last kid of the Jareau five that we been waiting for and got it. This book is/was a great way to end off the year into the new one. It gave me the emotions and feels like book 1 I loved all Kimberly’s book of the Jareau crew but book book 1 and 5 are it for me she started off and ended with a big bang. We take a dive into the jokester of the family Reese aka “Reesie cup” and he literally gave me everything I been waiting for his love for our girl Corelli was a strong and bold one with no hold backs and the added piece was the sweet as pie Ms. Bellamy who Reese loved like his own. He was the definition of a man who steps to a women with a child where if he wants that women he has to want and love her child and he did wholeheartedly. No one couldn’t tell him that’s not his child not even her momma 😂 and I loved it he said even if we not together that’s my child point blank!!
Now the whole dynamic of the story was just executed spot on. Yea we had to be patient for our girl Corelli to get her head on right but she finally got there which I understand when you have a child involved it’s not easy but she needed to leave that mess of a bd pronto he was a hot mess with the audacity of the crap he pulled him and his sad excuse for a mother. When Corelli and Reese hit that green light it was on and deeeep 😭. I just really loved them Reese was really a man and stepped up to the plate and lead by the example of one and only Mr. Edwin Jareau aka papa Jareau. That whole family is really a blessing and the added blended family that they have continued to create is so wholesome and warm. Even with all the battles being thrown at them they will always be there for each other and grow together ‼️
Furthermore the family just keeps growing and I’m living for it 😂 especially Reese being “uncle daddy. Now Reese and Corelli next need to add to the family of three I already know the Jareau family wedding book 5 bout to be on tilt we just need book 4 with Roosevelt and Alaina to come forth.

This was long and I got more to say but im gonna be chill. I just wanna ask Author Kimberly if she ever thought of doing a prequel to the first Mr and Mrs. Jareau aka papa and mama Jareau their story sounded real real interesting 👀.

P.s. That book cover oh my god so beautiful !!!! Imagine reading that on the road and people see that beautiful black couple

Nothin like Reese

I loved the growth of Reese. We’ve watched his growth from book to book, yet the Grown Man that was presented in this story, was so beautiful.

I’m still not all the way convinced that Corelli is the right one for my boy, yet who am I to say what love looks like for others. I still don’t like her tho 😒.

I’m always looking forward to the weddings. These families are growing and expanding, loving and living. I’m not ready for this series to end, yet I’m grateful that we got to experience all that we did.

Highly recommend this series and book. Great read.

Nothin’ like you

This book was amazing from beginning to end. Corelli needed the unconditional love from Reese and he needed someone that made him want to grow up. They were so cute together. I loved how Reese loved Corelli and Bellamy unconditionally and gave them all the love they needed, especially where Miller fell short. I was hoping Miller would redeem himself but that didn’t happen. Corelli was able to grow and experience true happiness once she decided to accept love over the loyalty she had for Miller and their history. I loved the bond and connection Reese had with Bellamy. She was truly his baby. I can’t wait to see what will come next from this couple. Reese and his humor and even the way he stood ten toes down for his family is a great reason to read this book if there isn’t any other.

My random thoughts:

I love the Jareau family so freaking much!!

I was getting frustrated with Corelli playing with Reese’s feelings but she got it together and they made a beautiful love story.

The way Reese loved Bellamy like she was his own had me crying tears of happiness.

I have zero words for Miller and everything he put them through. SMH!!

Usually Daddy Jareau is the star but Mama Jareau stole the shine this book! I just love her and how she poured into Corelli’a dreams.

The ending was PERFECTION!!!

A good read

I love Reese. That’s the review.
No seriously, I think Reese falling in love was for the best not only did he fall in love with Corelli he fell in love with little Miss Tink and their relationship made this book blossom even more .Corelli absolutely irritated me the way that she thought she was supposed to hold down this man only for him to do dirty. Reese gave so much patience and love to Corelli, and I don’t think that he could have held her down anymore than he was. It was honestly refreshing to see the growth in Reese from our first Jareau book till now.

I absolutely loved this book. Baby boy Reese did not disappoint. I loved seeing him, Corelli and Bellamy become a family. I'm so sad the series has come to an end. But hopefully there will be two more novellas. I'm not ready to let the Jareaus go. I highly recommend the whole series. Start with Where Love Blooms and just be carried away by this amazing close knit family. Happy reading!

I am highly impressed with this follow-up on the Jareau family. Ms. Kimberly Brown is doing an excellent job. I was initially skeptical, but after taking a step back and fully immersing myself in the story, I was able to truly enjoy this saga. It is a compelling tale filled with everyday family drama, without the exaggerated moments. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the story—great job!

5⭐️ / 3.5🌶

As always, Kimberly served! Reese's story was all I thought it would be and more. All he did to prove his intentions to Corelli and his love for both her and Bellamy was admirable. Reese stepped for them. Miller & his mother were completely unnecessary. Heaven knows I wanted to repeatedly slap some sense into those fools. I always love the Jareau family dynamic, and the surprises in this story for Cartel & Walker were ao cute. Can't wait for Alicia & Issac's story.

A Jareau Family Love story

You know…I keep seeing all these social media posts about books that show black women being loved properly….and I have to say…these Jareau Family novels all show that! I’ve loved getting to know each couple. And while each book has tragedy or drama somewhere (because…life) the men all found women they were willing to love properly. I think this one was my favorite. There was definitely a moment or two that brought me to tears with how precious the moments were…Quite enjoyable…

I’m so sad that I’ve reached the end of the Jareau Family series. This will forever be one of my favorites. I’ve grown so attached to these characters over the course of these five books. They’ve taken me on such a rollercoaster of emotions, but the most prominent one was love. This family was so rich in love and support, and it brought me so much comfort to read their stories.

my baby brother done growed up on me 😩🥹

Ms. Brown don’t miss…at all. I absolutely loved to see the growth in Resse and while growing he remained his loving goofy self. That man fought for his woman tooth and nail. To see another Jareau man grow and find love, create a family was beautiful!

Corelli…girl, I thought you was really gon irk my nerves but at the end of the day…you was a mama! Being a mama is important and you can’t be a good mama if you aren’t good all the way. To see her finally fight for what she wanted and get her happiness for her and Bellamy really changed my heart towards her. Now, don’t go and break my brother heart. I’m just like Ja…I don’t play bout him!

Another 5 star Ms Brown! Now for these weddings to end out the Jareau family 😩😩🤍

I knew I would love this story, but I didn’t know I would love it this much. Reese was a clown this whole series, with times of sensitivity, but he was on his grown man ish when it came to Corelli and Bellamy.
Speaking of Corelli, she had me worried she was going to be somewhat unbearable, but she surprised me.
The growth from both of the characters was amazing to see, and I think it’s safe to say this was my favorite book in the series.
If you haven’t read this series, hop into it and enjoy.

Reese and Corelli’s story

Baby Reece showed out. I can't recall which of his siblings called in on one of the earlier books, when they said that he played a lot but would love and spoil the woman he was with. And boy, did he ever.

Corelli played with baby-boys feelings for 2 years and the family was pretty much over her.

Glad she woke up and saw what she had before it was too late.

Reece put himself 1st and drew the line in the sand when he said:

“I want you so fucking bad that I can’t stand it. But you don’t get to keep giving me bits and pieces of you, baby. I want all of you but you gotta come correct. If you can’t do that, I’ll just have to accept that shit and move on. As you can see, I got options too.” Without another word, I opened the door and walked out."

I felt that!

He had a lil growing up to do in realizing how family dynamics Baby Reece showed out. I can't recall which of his siblings called in on one of the earlier books, when they said that he played a lot but would love and spoil the woman he was with. And boy, did he ever.

I really liked Nothin Like You by Kimberly Brown. I've thoroughly enjoyed the Jareau Family series. Brown has done such a good job with weaving the story of the Jareau family together with lovable and unique characters, which should be hard to do with so many storylines and characters to develop. However, Brown makes it seem easy. Nothin Like You is one of my favorite books in the series and I believe this is the conclusion. If so, Brown ended on a high note with Reese and Corelli. What a fun and uplifting book series celebrating love between all different types of people? I love that Kimberly Brown does not rely on stereotypes and handles triggering subjects with lots of respect (especially in books 1, 2, 4, and 5). I've read many of her books and her writing and storytelling are just getting better and better. I can't say enough good things about Brown as an author or the Jareau Family series.

My ranking of the Jareau Family books:
Strip Me Bare - Book #4
Nothin Like You - Book #5
The Burial of a Player - Book #3
Where Love Blooms - Book #1
Deep In My Soul - Book #2

Spice: 🥵🥵

Content Warnings:
Graphic: Toxic relationship, Cursing, and Sexual content
Moderate: Alcoholism, Pregnancy, Infidelity, Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, and Abandonment
Minor: Gaslighting, Medical content, Stalking, Violence, Death, Fire/Fire injury, and Addiction

reese may joke around a lot be he is nothing to play with. reese loved him some corelli and tink. tink loved her some reese and he asking reese to adopt her so he can be her daddy and for them to share the same last name made me so emotional.

miller got his instant well deserved karma cause how you gonna manipulate corelli into staying with you, cheat on her and have a baby on her while you was in jail then get mad at her for leaving you once she found out only because the girl popped up at her house and told her. then you take it upon yourself to burn down the house where she lives, him walking into the house and not being able to get out was the best thing to happen because the moment your daughter told you to stop you’re scaring her that morning you should’ve left well enough alone. his mother wasn’t any better because she was an enabler.

i loved seeing corelli and that girl coparent because at the end of the day their kids are siblings and do deserve to know each other. even though that girl was wrong for continuing to mess with miller when she found out who corelli was i still felt bad when she saw miller true colors because she was young and just wanted to love since she didn’t have a family and she deserved better than that but i do hope she learned from the whole situation.

A Beautiful Ending

Kimberly… girl. Why you got me in my feelings like this?!. I can’t believe this is the Jareau series finale; check on me in a few days because I’ll definitely still be deep in my feelings. I have never wanted to marry into a fictional family so much in my life 😂. I’m not convinced that this family isn’t real. I’m coming to SC to find them!

So glad Reese got the happy ending he deserved and Corelli too even though she’s part of the reason it took so long. I don’t play about my Jareau’s and Corelli was about to catch these hands. Idk who pissed me off more - Miller, Jessica, or Corelli. I loved that we learned Mama and Papa Jareau’s story; it made me love them even more. It was great to see Reese grow up and have his siblings tease him lol. It’s so much I wanna say, but you’ll just have to read for yourself to fully understand. I’m sad to see this series end, but it’s been an amazingly entertaining and enjoyable journey. 10, 10, 10 across the board!

Reese and Corelli!!!

Reese became one of my favorite characters in this series from Book 1 due to his sense of humor so I was very interested to see what woman he would finally get serious about. Corelli was the woman who finally caught his eye but it was not a bed of roses for their relationship. Reese had to overcome obstacles before Corelli truly became his. His grown man attitude and patience had to come into play in order for him to finally find a way to Corelli. I was glad when Corelli finally came to her senses and realized that her place was with Reese. As soon as she was where she belonged, Reese showed her how a man is supposed to treat his woman and I just loved the way he did. I also loved the relationship between Bellamy and Reese. He was her "Reesie Cup" and she was his "Tink". Ms. Brown once again has given us a well-written book that includes love, passion, humor, jealousy, betrayal and treachery. You won't be sorry reading this book or the whole series.
