Captiva Island
This series of books is very enlightening in many ways even though it's fiction. Being older, having lost my husband and now dealing with metastatic cancer I found myself identifying and getting lost in the characters.
It certainly had me wanting to go to the keys and find such a place to put my feet in the sand and look for seashells. These books allowed me to forget my troubles and at the same time realize that everyone has something they're dealing with.
Thank you Annie for such a wonderful time!

Beautiful
I have read the whole series. Every book was getting to know each family member ( characters) Each time you opened up the next book you got to become closer to the family.
I would recommend all of the Captive books to anyone who would like to get taken away for a little while.

I think it's safe to say that the ending of this book, was probably the best part of it. Not to discount the rest of it, it's just the way that Annie wrapped things up. I'm a Native Floridian, live in St Petersburg, and absolutely love all books set in this area, this entire series, has been wonderful. Getting ready to start the next book (thank you , Annie for continuing this series.)

Great Series
Annie Cabot really has a way of drawing you into the lives of her characters in each book of this series. I love the way she weaves the lives of each character she introduces into the book in such a way that they become an integral part of it. Letting you see more glimpses later throughout the series. Well written and hard to put down to the very end.

Interesting read with a twist
The stories continue to develop and adding interesting characters.
I love grandma's personality and Mateo.
Life is complicated and goes around in circles, everyone has some experience you can learn from and makes you feel that you are not the only one with problems.
I can not wait to keep on reading!

Captiva we go
Love this series. I live in Cape Coral and made my husband take me to the Keylime Bistro today then for a walk on the beach near the Mucky Duck and then to the Bubble Room for some orange cake. I was looking all the while to see if there was a house there that resembled the Inn!🩷

Heart Touching
Out of the whole series so far Mr Matteo and Lauren pulled at my heart strings. So glad the stories continue. I look forward to the journey to Italy and the rest of this family I have fallen in love with.

Love this series. Matteo’s wisdom was great. Live everyday to the fullest and stop trying to change things that are out of your control. He wisdom has helped me in a time when I didn’t even realize I needed it.

I love the closeness of this family even though some of them are 1500 miles away. The wisdom at the end of the book from the older gentleman (I can't think of his name) was heartbreaking. Can't wait for the next book!

consistency
I have enjoyed this story line, and getting to know these characters. I have a problem with authors who can’t remember from one book to another what happened in the past, how someone came into possession of something… do better with your memory of your timeline.
