This is a much better representation of what I was hoping for in the previous volume. It expands on the characters' backstories, it keeps the recurring characters from the first volume, and it's also way more violent. It's pretty much everything a reasonable person would want from a manga series like this.

I am genuinely surprised that we learned Meg's backstory in its entirety so early in the series. It was a real treat to see how she got to be teamed up with Angela. I look forward to learning more about Angela, as well. 4/5
