This is book 4 of the Blazers Hockey series & I enjoyed reading Luc & Brynn’s story. Lisa Linwood’s writing style fully wraps you into the story, and has you feeling like you are a part of it all. Luc gets injured and is having a hard time recovering with his neighbor’s loud home renovations going on next door. She can’t afford to stop renovations, but she can’t stand the thought of him suffering through it either. As things heat up between them, the past comes along to try and take it all away.

Lisa Linwood has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Brynn and Luc. Luc is a hockey player for the Blazers and during a game, he is hurt and gets a concussion. He goes home and needs some rest but can't get it because of the noise from the house next door. He goes next door to see if they can keep it down. Brynn tells him that she is on a timeline and she cannot stop working on the house. He asks if she can stop for that day and she talks to him some more and agrees. She can tell that he is in pain and takes him back to his house and gets him into bed. She ends up staying the day with him and takes care of him. The next morning, Brynn comes over with breakfast for Luc. He answers the door with nothing but a towel. Luc is attracted to Brynn but he can't get involved since he is hiding from his stalker. The stalker is someone who he went out with a few times and now she thinks that he is hers. She had told him that if she couldn't have him no one could and went after him with a knife. Brynn starts spending a lot of time with Luc while he is off work. They become close but Brynn doesn't give him more because she will be leaving when the house is finished. One of the crew for her show took a picture of Luc and posted it. Phoebe sees it and she starts stalking him again. Phoebe is not happy that Luc is dating Brynn and lets him know it. Phoebe goes after Brynn and her business. Phoebe posted on her channel how Brynn has come between Phoebe and Luc. Luc wants Brynn to stay with him until Phoebe is caught because he doesn't know what she will do. She finally agrees to stay since the house she is redoing is next door to his. Luc's PR manager tells him that he needs to get in front of Phoebe and let his fans know that he is with Brynn. She tells him that they need to be seen out together. Phoebe sees Luc with Brynn and she sends him a note telling him to get rid of her and she will forgive him. When Luc continues to see Brynn, Phoebe stops for a while. They wonder what she is up to. Brynn has just sent a text to Luc telling him that she is ready to go home. He goes to get her but sees her coming toward him. He sees a car turn its lights on stomp the gas and go toward Brynn. It is Phoebe and she is trying to hit Brynn. Brynn gets out of the way just in time but her foot gets hit. Phoebe runs into the new garage door she just put up on the house. The police are called along with an ambulance for Brynn. Brynn has a twisted ankle and was told to stay off it for a few days. Brynn is upset that Phoebe has screwed up the garage door since it was a special order. She just has a few days to finish the house and then she has another house to do in Seattle. Luc wants her to stay but he can't ask that of her after all she has done to build up her business. Brynn has finished the house and it is time for her to go to Seattle. She doesn't want to leave Luc but she has a contract to do a house. She goes to the customer and talks to them and they agree to let her out of the contract. Luc goes home after practice and he sees Brynn's laptop on the table. It has a note on it that says "Play." On the video is the next project that she is going to be doing and it is not the one Luc knew about. She explains what she is doing and tells him that she didn't want to leave him.
Will Brynn and Luc stay together?

This was a romantic suspense sports romance.

Brynn feels sympathy and takes him some food and things to entertain himself. They start spending a lot of time together. His stalker starts escalating. They eventually start a romantic relationship. Brynn gets attacked and Luc takes a turn caring for her. They fall in love but Brynn is committed to another project and plans to leave. Luc, suffering from concussion , which he had from a game, needs peace and quiet in order to rest and recuperate. Brynn, a house restorer and social media star, is busy next door and the noise is deafeningly loud.
Compromise is the key but it has repercussion. Their attraction is mutual and as the relationship develops between them, so do their individual problems. He has a stalker who does not take kindly to his new girlfriend and there are various concerning behaviours towards each of them.
Their time together is limited due to her business. Time and money is at the forefront of her mind. Safety is at the front of his as things seem to be escalating, plus his parents are calling him, keen for him to retire.
Can this couple reach out and towards each other for a long term, permanent future.
Enjoyable series.

Luc, a professional hockey player is concussed in a game. Given strict orders to rest, he’s kept awake by construction noise from the house next door. His head throbbing, he stumbles to the neighbor’s to ask them to be quiet for just a couple days. Feeling sorry for him, Brynn, who is remodeling the house, stops the work and checks in on Luc while he recovers. Instant attraction complicates things as Brynn is moving on to the next job once the house is finished and Luc is lying low to avoid a stalker.
Intrigue, romance, suspense, a bit of drama, and plenty of spice made this a very enjoyable read.
This is the fourth book in a series of romances about a team of hockey players., Each book features one player with their teammates from the other books as secondary characters. There’s a great sense of warmth and camaraderie between them, and I’m looking forward to reading the first three books. There’s also a fifth book is in the works, as well.

Brynn Howes flips houses for a living and Howes Flipping is her YouTube channel. Her current renovation is next door to Luc Michaud, the defenseman for the San Jose Blazers hockey team.
Luc has a former, un-hinged hook up stalking him who has threatened to kill him. When Luc is injured on the ice and has a concussion, he goes next door to beg them to stop the noise that is killing his head. Brynn takes sympathy on his plight and delivers some food and items to keep him entertained. But the stalker is certainly active and this time has Brynn in her sights, and when she's injured, it's Luc's turn to take care of his girl. Once they realize their true feelings for one another, they have to make some decisions about their future. Brynn is committed to a job that she doesn't want to forfeit to stay with Luc. They come to a decision that is the best for all.

I loved Luc: Blazers: Book 4 of Blazers Hockey Romance. Luc is at the top of his hockey game, unfortunately, he’s evading a personal situation and just had a brutal concussion. The pounding in his head mad worse by the renovations next door being done by Brynn. While grumpy at first Luc ends up winning over Brynn and they grow close. Sadly, her time in San Jose is limited and their time is filled with drama. Even with the drama their feelings grow quickly and both worry about the end. I loved this storyline and the characters. I love how the characters from previous book are intertwined. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

This a was a really lovely and engaging read. Book 4 of the Blazers Hockey Romance brings us Luc and Brynn’s story. There were plenty of roadblocks to their sweet and gorgeous HEA, but throughout their chemistry, empathy and respect for each other shone and left me invested in their happy ending. I really enjoyed the way the author allowed their relationship to grow amidst suspense and uncertainty, and the steamy scenes were delicious and worth the wait. While this can be read as a standalone, having read the earlier books in the series made the inclusion of previous characters more enjoyable.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this enthralling story about Luv and Brynn. She's a house flipper with a social media following. He's a professional hockey player. When a bad injury leaves him with a concussion, he's left out of sorts. Brynn is working on a flip across the street and causing a ruckus. But when they start talking they develop a connection and try to build on it. Unfortunately a stalker from his past is determined to keep them apart. Follow their adventure as they figure out what matters most.

This is the fourth book in this incredible series, and this is Luc and Brynn’s story.
Luc is the defenseman in a hockey team, and when he ends up with concussion, he heads home to recuperate. Brynn is a house-flipper and YouTube star, and when she is renovating a house, her next door neighbor comes knocking as the noise is hindering his recovery.
This is a well written story which is easy to read, with action, secrets, danger suspense, intrigue, humor, witty banter, friendships, engaging and realistic characters, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy hockey romance.

Luc's one goal is to play hockey for as long as he can and to win the trophy for best defensemen so when a concussion and an extremely noisy neighbour are putting it at risk.
Brynn and Luc are both career orientated so whilst their attraction grows the time for Brynn to move onto her next project approaches, we then have danger lurking in our peripheral not know when it will strike and how cray cray the attack will be.

I enjoyed this suspenseful steamy hockey romance. I was not able to put this down until the end. Luc has a concussion from his game which lead to a meet-cute all over Brynn’s boots. Brynn taking pity on him shuts down her renovation schedule to give his brain rest. Storyline is a slow burn to hot, with friendship, relationship growth, a cray-cray ex, danger, some angst, smexy moments, realizations and love.

This had a combination of jobs that I haven't seen before & I liked that. The stalker part was also well written without being dark or extreme. There was thought given to the future & the impact that would have, especially when the women is normally expected to make all the sacrifices. The steamy side was a slow build but worth the anticipation.

Luc is hiding out when Brynn shows up next door to flip a house. I love his drive and his determination and that he falls first. The team and friends are fun and add depth to the story. The bad guy, Phoebe, holds your attention. Brynn has a non traditional job and I love her need to succeed. The writing is well done and the story is well paced.

I really enjoyed this one! The mystery element really drew me in, and I cared about what happened to Luc and Brynn. I read these a little out of order (oops!), but it didn't take away from the story at all, and this entire series can be read as standalones.

I loved how Luc and Brynn took care of each other, and neither of them appeared controlling or overdramatic. There wasn't any angst between them as a couple, which was nice!

It was very corny but I didn’t hate it. There really wasn’t a crazy about of hockey in the story, it was more a romance with a side of hockey. I bet there could have been more about the stalker to make it darker, but it was cute. I wanted a feel good, cute defenseman (the specifics👍🏻) hockey romance and that’s what I got. Can’t complain.
