With a new witch on the scene, an old nightmare emerges from the shadows.
After a member of the wolf pack is abducted, Hawk must locate the missing wolf and bring him home...or risk his status as the pack's beta.
But when Hawk and his crew cross paths with Abby Prescott—an untrained, knife-wielding witch on the run from her enemies both on the ground and in her head—their mission is swiftly derailed.
To have any chance at finding the missing wolf alive, Hawk needs Stella and Ethan's help to train the young witch before she causes more havoc than the wolves can control.
But Abby is more than a wrench thrown into Hawk’s rescue plans. Her arrival triggers all three of the wolves’ urges to form a mating bond and with that, she awakens the trauma of Hawk’s past.
Now, as Hawk struggles to find the missing wolf, maintain his beta status, and deny his fate with Abby, his choices lead the friends straight into the nightmare that Stella has feared all this time.
There really is a Collector in the woods, and it’s time they meet the threat face to face to face.
Fans of Nancy Corrigan, Paige Tyler, Sadie Moss and Laurel Schroeder will love this fated mates, why-choose, supernatural romantic suspense.

USA Today bestselling author A.S. Green lives in chilly Minnesota and spends the all-too-short summers on Lake Superior, which is the muse for her paranormal and contemporary romances. She writes complex characters, action-packed plots, and snarky in-your-face banter. And, of course, loads of steamy love scenes.
When she's not writing romance, she's probably watching Outlander or pleading (unsuccessfully) with her husband to don the kilt she bought him last summer.

I really liked the first three books in this series, but this one was disappointing. The first three followed Stella and Ethan and I expected this book to do the same, but they were background characters and it introduced an entirely new character and storyline. I didn’t mind learning more about the wolves, but if it was going to move to making them the main storyline it seems like giving them their own series would have been better.
Also, the amount of spice in this book is way more than the other three. And like poly and group. If that’s your thing, go for it. However, it very much is not mine and I had no idea it was coming. I wrongly assumed it would be comparable to the rest of the series. Personally, I expected more of the deep connection, soul mate, slow burn kind of spice that the others had.
The third book ended with the idea that we would be learning much more about the collector in the next book, but we didn’t learn much more or even find the character in the next one. Especially given the name of this book, it was a letdown for me. I don’t know. I was excited for this one and feel like it ended up not even fitting in with the rest of the series that I had grown so invested in.

The fourth installment of the Cursed Descendants series starts off with intense action that does not let up until the end.
We meet Abby from the jump, desperate to escape her past and willing to kill to get her freedom.
Green weaves a fantastic new tale that brings Stella and Ethan, our favorite couple from the first three books into the plot with the wolf shifters who were side characters in the previous books.
I appreciate Green’s ability to shift the focus from the first three books to the new characters while holding the feeling and the elements she’s already established together. The result is a fresh new story that feels very familiar and rooted.
I’ll admit, I am not a fan of why choose stories. I’m a one-woman-for-one-man kinda girl. Most why choose read ridiculous to me and forced. But I have to admit I really enjoyed how Green wove the dynamic in with shifters. It didn’t feel forced, and the dynamic made sense. And it WORKS.
This is what I continue to enjoy about Green’s books. She has honed her craft. I love that technology has made self-publishing a thing and has given authors the ability to reap more of the rewards from their works. But it’s a double-edged sword. There are a lot of writers out there that, 20 books in, still feel like a new author.
Not A.S. Green. She is a wordsmith who spends the time developing not on her plots and her characters, but the very words she puts on the page. This only comes from a dedication to her craft and a deep desire to not phone in her work.
This is why Green for me is an auto-click author. I will read anything she writes, because she is THAT good. She may not be as well-known as other writers, and it’s a damn shame. She is truly top-tier.
I look forward to the next installment of this series. I know it’s going to be a nail-biter, but it’ll be OK in the end.

So not gonna lie, with questions still open about Stella and Ethan, the supposed lie that Stella has been told and various other problems that haven't been solved, I'm just not a huge fan of switching POV to a brand new character. If it was an already established character I'd be a little less upset, though I still wouldn't love it, but with it being a stranger I'm just having a hard time getting into it.
I also found Abby's interaction with everybody really awkward and I kind of just didn't like her in general as a character which made this book a little bit off for me. It was just really hard to like it as much as I liked all the others. I loved the chapters that had Stella and Ethan in it, but as soon as we got back to Abby I just didn't care. I even cared about hawk's perspective more than I did Abby's. I just felt that she was whiny and immature.
I have always liked how relatable many of the characters and situations were. Below is pretty simple, but it hits the hardest. As somebody that never knew my nana's address but could navigate there by landmarks and muscle memory. This is extremely relatable and something that I'd never thought about until I read it.
“That’s it?” Ethan asked. “No address?” “Look. It’s not like I sent him a Christmas card. The only times I ever went there, I went on landmarks and muscle memory. Those are as good of directions as I got.”
The author just has a way to make you connect with the characters or at least understand their natural thought processes which is another reason I'm surprised that I didn't like Abby more. If the next book is about Abby, it's kind of a 50/50 shot that I'll read it.
Collector's Hoard: a spicy, paranormal, romantic suspense (Cursed Descendants Book 4) by A.S. Green is a true page turner from page 1! Thrilling action on top of interesting characters and their involvement in the action makes for a really great read. I am a big fan of this author in general and this series as well. Plenty of intrigue in every aspect of the series continues in this book and introducing new developments as well. While the paranormal elements are shifting ;), the main characters from the first three books, Stella and Ethan, are still integral. In Collector's Hoard, the author explores the Wolf Pack introduced previously with Hawk, Stryker and Dylan. These wolf shifts are different from one another personality wise and make for interesting interactions. Each of them need the other in some respects, but Hawk is by far the most complicated and complex. As a leader, this makes things very conflicting for him and boy does he struggle! We also get to meet a new character, the heroine of the story, Abby. She is a plethora of emotions; conflicted, tortured, fearful, innocence, wary and untrusting. To say her life has been difficult and traumatic is putting it mildly. As far as the plot goes, this author does a spectacular job of pivoting and taking a new avenue that is just as thrilling, exciting and suspenseful as the previous books. Tons of paranormal elements to keep fans of this genre interested and fully engaged. An added element is the sub-pack culture of the Wolf Shifter pack. While Abby's acceptance of her paranormal within her and willingness to cooperate is tested, she is also facing the overwhelming and emotional pull to mate. And not just one male, but all three! So on top of all the typical thrills and suspense, there's the added spice of a polyamorous relationship as well. Overall, this is a spicy paranormal romance with the added thrills, chills and breath stealing action that fans of this series have come to expect. The characters reach a HEA, but the threat still very real. I am really looking forward to Book 5 with the hope of more Hawk, Stryker, Dylan and Abby to come. Collector's Hoard is Book 4 in the Cursed Descendents Series by A.S. Green and it is the story of Wolf Shifters: Hawk, Stryker and Dylan & a newly discovered Untrained Witch Abby. Paired Witches Ethan & Stella show up (...their story are Books 1-3 of the Series and I highly recommend you read them first...) A.S. Green adds in layers to her magical world she has created by us learning more about the wolf pack dynamics, continuing descriptions of witch magic & spells, the evil Collector and wolf mate bonds. Hawk & Abby have traumatic pasts that they struggle to overcome...Stryker & Dylan are there supporting both of them. The sëx between Hawk-Abby/Stryker-Abby/Dylan-Abby is spïcÿ and all about ✨️only✨️ pleasing hër... §ati§fyïng förëpläy & mätïng bönd märk§. (Nö §wörd§ crö§§ëd.) More of the Collector's mystery is revealed... sprinkled in with a tiny bit of horror, violence & tragedy.
⚠️ Collector's Hoard does end on a small...ish cliff hanger.
This book steps away from Stella and Ethan’s story arc and instead focuses on Abby, Hawk, Stryker and Dylan. This keeps the series refreshed with the new influx of characters. Stella and Ethan are very much included which I like as we can see what happens to them after the got together. I felt so sorry for poor Abby as she had a difficult life. Her character was admirable as she never caved or gave up. Hawk was as grumpy and serious as I remember from the previous books but it was great to see him thaw as the book went on. I didn’t form an opinion on Styker and Dylan so much in the previous books so they were a breath of fresh air for me. I really liked how this new story linked back to the previous ones and how it was far more complex than I originally thought! The series has really opened up and I like how the direction is not obvious. This is a great book. 5 stars!
I was a bit apprehensive walking into this book because I had completely fallen in love with Stella, Ethan and the witches in the first books of this series and I didn't want to leave them behind. HOWEVER, the author's creativity, world building, and control of the larger storyline, as well wher artful dialogue and banter, quickly came though and I was reading long into the night!. I found myself falling for the Pack just as fast I did the Covens and all my doubts disappeared as Hawk, Stryker, Dyllan, and Stella took center stage and what a Why Choose is was! I cannot say more about all the surprise reveals because I don't want to spoil this brilliant chapter in a series that I do not want to leave! Needless to say you will holding your jaw at the end of this book!.
I wasn’t expecting this particular shift in series, but still an awesome and interesting read. Still plenty of action, plenty of intrigue, a little more diverse and complex characters that were introduced but are now more in the forefront. Don’t be alarmed our favorite couple tie in nicely and still play a much needed role. These new characters give the story a new freshness and depth while still keeping the intensity and familiarity of the previous books. I absolutely enjoyed it.

The first few pages I wasn't sure if I'm reading the right book. The author managed to surprise me with the direction she took the story in. And how she elegantly introduced totally new characters and merged them with those I already loved from the previous books, I loved it! Somehow I now suspect she will have a few more surprises ready for us in the next parts of the series. Like always, the writing and storyplot are great and the book is very easy to read.
Book four of the Cursed Descendants series and we hit the ground running! Full of action, it’s exciting, it’s intense and it’s full of twists and turns to keep you on your toes. With fantastic and descriptive world building, you find yourself drawn into this fun and captivating story. A well written, steamy, witchy paranormal romance with well developed and likeable characters this has danger, drama, mystery, suspense, a little of something for everyone!
The Cursed Descendants story continues in Collector's Hoard book four of the series and picks up where book three left off. This is an action packed, page turning story with interesting characters, unexpected twists, magic, mystery, steam, and a great storyline. I am loving this series and after that ending, I can't wait to read the next book to find out what happens next. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
A.S brings her writing to life and the 4th book is no different! We start intense action and suspense till the end! Between her character development to the magic and shifters there’s just so much to unpack in this one and she did not disappoint, quickly adding her to my auto read author list. This series has been by far unique, cozy, spicy and a series I will re-read. I can’t recommend this enough if you like unique magical storytelling with a captivating plot!
wow! AS is newer to me author and this series has made me fall in love i love the style and the characters and the covers are all so pretty i plan on getting these some day in paper back for my hoard!
This fourth installment of the series was well written and kept me entertained thanks to the engaging story line. I can't wait to see what A.S. Green has in store for us next.

Thus was a good story. I hope we get to meet the Collector soon. I wasn't expecting a reverse harem though, the way it comes about is smooth and dealt fits! It was Very steamy. Only 4 stars due to spelling and other errors.
WOW...I think I enjoyed this as much if not more than the previous books in the series. This centers more on the wolves but our favorite witches Ethan and Stella are in the middle of everything. We go on Abby's journey and what a journey it is with all the twists and turns you have come to expect.
This is one that I wasn’t ready for. I thought it would continue more of a cohesive story line but there was definitely a jump here. Still a really good read
What a great read. Action, romance, laughter, tears and spice. Such a well balanced book. I feel so lucky to have discovered this series and this author! Running straight to book 4!
Rcvd an advanced reader copy from booksprout for giving my two cents. We meet Abby, who had basically been living in a prison for the past 6 years. Her parents dropped her off and never looked back. They blamed her for everything that went wrong. We met wolf shifter, Hawk, in previous books when he helped out witches. Now him and his team are trying to find their kidnapped comrad Brady. He comes across a woman in the woods who just killed a man for attempting to harm her. There is smtg about this woman but he can't out his finger on it. Hawk takes her back to the den to get help as she is quite frail. Abby doesn't know what to do. She keeps hearing a man's voice in her head and its not the friendly sort. Hawk and his team, Dylan & Stryker set out in search of Brady and they find a stowaway in thr SUV. Something is happening to Abby and she doesn't know what...she just leveled trees without doing anything. This causes Hawk to put his guard up...him and witches don't mix but he calls Stella and Ethan for help. Abby doesn't know what to make of thr newcomers...they tell her she is a Witch but also part wolf...I'm...what? Things are getting way more complicated and it's not just the grumpy wolf. The team sets out together to find Brady while training Abby...but will it be enough? Things go from bad to worse and it's just the beginning.
