Emily's books are always amazing for bringing out a survivor. Really bringing out each of their strengths, and this book was no different than that. It took me a while to actually put together all the connecting points and the dots. I don't know if I've just been super tired or what, but I think it was me. The book was still absolutely fantastic. The spice is always done absolutely amazingly. It's intense and always on point. Perfectly lined with the story. The characters always have such emotional depth to them that they create such a passionate, raw love that it is desirable. I loved this just like all of her other books I read from her.

This story definitely had a plot and some good spice. Our girl Rose is definitely a survivor. While reading I was putting together the dots. And once I got to a point where it all clicked and it all matched up I was so excited to see how well my thoughts were going with this story. Everything I guessed was spot on. Caius is oh man so many things. But a monster isn’t one of them. The fact that this man stood up to his sister and threatened her was just a tip of the iceberg he would do for this girl (rose) let’s not forget the small little things he does for her that just make your heart rate go up. The chemistry between these two is amazing. Nothing short of perfection. The spice is something to envy! These two characters get on and do it so well you kind of feel jealous. But the fact that he helps her through her trauma and comforts her so she doesn’t spiral is amazing and heart warming. Emily knows how to write the most perfect characters. The chemistry is so there with all her books! And this one was just the same.

Rosalie works for Caius and helps him change the failing business and make it profitable after getting into some trouble for a while. Rosie is a firecracker and doesn't take shit from anyone, not Caius or anyone in his circle.

Their story has push and pull but I love that Rosie is a strong FMC who doesn’t allow anyone to get the better of her. She ensures that she can be strong and get herself through anything. I love her spirit and her fight.

If you're into office romance, with an Irish mob boss at the helm, then this book is definitely made for you!

On the other hand, we have Caius, the authoritative figure who is deeply in love with Rosalie. Rosie has endured a childhood filled with abuse and neglect, raised by a mother who was emotionally fractured. The book takes readers on an exhilarating journey filled with themes of sex, love, lust, and danger. While it is categorized as a Mob Romance, the mob elements are subtle; it feels more like an office romance featuring a man who just happens to be a mob boss. Emily masterfully crafts unforgettable characters, and the chemistry she builds is palpable across all her works. This story is no exception!

This book is classified as Dark Mob Romance, and is book two of an interconnected series. It does have a trigger warning list: SA, unaliving, degradation, forced spicy time.

The book is written in first person. This book has multiple point of views: Rosalie and Caius. Rosalie works at a marketing firm and is friends with Darcy who works in the same building. She is hiding trauma from everyone and lost her mom. Caius is an Irish Mob Boss and is Rosalie's boss as well.

This book is a wild ride of sex, love, lust, danger the story of a Mob Romance but there really isn’t a deep mob side in this story it’s more of a office place romance with a man who just happens to be a mob boss.

Caius is not your typical mob boss from other books he’s no monster he’s kind and sweet and caring and so good to his girl. He would give it all up just to keep her safe.

Rosie has lived a life of abuse and neglect as a child growing up and is a true survivor and has so much strength in her.

Finn is my favourite character they are all so well written you can help but get invested in them which is true to Emily’s style.

Let me start by saying, that if I had to choose an Irish Mob family, it would be this one!

I need more Finn that's for sure, he takes no BS yet has a soft side we saw a tiny bit of. Then we have Caius, he's the boss man, and is in love with Rosalie. Rosie has lived a life of abuse & neglect as a child growing up with a mother that was broken. What her mother did is bad, you'll have to read this book to see how dark and bad her actions were.

Rosie has a stalker, who could it be? And who would dare try to get to her when Caius showed who she belonged to?

Excellent book with a dark theme, Irish Mob, and of course the spicy scenes involving gorgeous men.

Mob Boss Kind Of Love,

This was sweet and awesome, I did not expect her to fall in love with the boss and fully aware of what was going on around her, but I also loved how she kept living her life despite of her past as that made me think a lot about mine.

But I love Emily's style of writing and cannot wait to read more of her books and I definitely love how spicy her books are because they are always spicy

I liked that it was the Irish mafia, most book I tend to read are Bratva or Italian mafia so this one was a nice change.

This story has plot and some spice. Rosalie is a survivor. It took me a minute to get into the story but once I did I really liked it.
Caius would do anything for Rosalie. The connection between them was really good. He helps her with her trauma and is there for her when she needs him.

I want my own Irish Mob Boss

I absolutely loved this book because it was a different aspect on Mafias. Of course he was the mob boss, but it didn’t really get into mob business like usual mafia books do. It was kind of like secondary details, to the whole story, but all in all, I really enjoyed this story and the supporting characters, and I always love an Irish accent.

Caius & Rosalie's story is another that hits you in your feels. Exploring their connection and the past traumas that she's been through was amazing. But the hand that Caius and his family are dealt with his sister is the betrayal of all betrayals.

Can they survive her wrath? Or will she take them all down with her?

I need my own Caius like yesterday. Mob boss turns softie for Rosie. The trauma Rosie has endured in her life just continues to grow even with Caius now in her life. Her bestie Darcy catches feelings for his brother Finn. While Finn and Rosie are always jacking with each other all of their relationships will be put to rest. 🖤

I really enjoyed this book! It was a slightly different take on a mafia romance, and I was here for it. The story was interesting and drew me in from the start. And I absolutely loved the characters. There was suspense, intrigue, and some really great spice. If you haven’t read any of this authors books, run, don’t walk, and check them out immediately!!!

This mafia romance will have your heart strings tugging. I am so in love with rosalie and caius! Rosalie must go through trauma and learn some traumatic news before being able to cope and be happy in the end. I love that she is able to overcome her trauma with her friends along the way and make a new family as well. I absolutely could not put this book down.

This book was so good. It keeps you wanting more. You follow Rosalie and Caius. Rosalie has an emotional background full of hurt. She has to escape the painful past but can she?

Loved this book!

I found the narrative and character development to be exceptionally engaging. The conclusion left me wanting more, and I particularly appreciated the dynamics between the female and male protagonists. I highly recommend this work.

A wonderful book this one is. Our girl rose was a beast and an absolute survivor. Then throw the Irish mob into it and i was hooked like a kid at Christmas. This was a jaw dropper and i loved it more than anything.
