This is again a very well done crossover in the Special Forces Operation Alpha world and as before Bella Stone creates a marvellous and seemingless mix of her own wonderful characters and Susan Stoker's Seal Team.
Like her previous couples, Draven and Indy are strong characters. I love how Bella Stone's female characters have an independent spirit and have their spine of steel, definitely no wallflower or helpless ones.
Yes, it's the sister's best friend storyline and yes, poor Draven is victim of more than one joke about it but this is definitely not a Hallmark movie story. It is as usual fast path, full of humor, banter and of course plenty of action.
I felt for Indy, her world collapsed around her but she kept her head high and knows her self-worth. I would have loved to know more about her past though.
Draven was a bit of pull-and-push towards her and he could have been a bit clearer what his plans are but when he finally got his head on straight, he pulls out the full romance.
There is also the introduction of another group, the Four X who will get their books. They are definitely a fitting addition to the exisiting characters.
I absolutely loved “Draven”. It’s book #3 in the Nemesis Inc. Bravo Team series. Once again I fell in the story and devoured it. I started reading, I blinked and I was already at the last chapters and all this in less than 24 hours…
Fact #1 : Trev is wise and with a great sense of humor: “Have you not watched the Hallmark movies? Sister’s best friend is in trouble and you run in to save the day. Do I say congratulations now, or should I wait until you figure it out?” I’ve got nothing against Hallmark movies but I’m glad Draven’s and Indy’s story isn’t one of them.
Fact #2: No drama! It is actually refreshing! Their story is strong and I loved the no drama between them. We first met Indy in Dalton’s book and we got a tiny glimpse of her character. She is strong, badass and seems like her father, being the DD of the CIA, always finds I way to get her in trouble. Last time her father promised her easy, she got shot so, no, that didn’t go well. Why this time should be any different? She should have known… Oh, and she has always been in love with Draven.
Fact #3: Draven. She texts coordinates and he jumps on the first plane to go save her. No questions asked. Draven is made of all the good stuff!
Fact #4: “You don’t have to kill a man to take him down. A sharp knee to the b@lls will do it, every single time.” Yeap, humor, banter and more facts.
Fact #5: You always, always need to follow the directions given by the GPS lady and answer her. Indy’s world crumbles around her but Draven is there to catch her and support her. Their story has it all. Action, banter, humor, found family, the jungle, the GPS lady, the perfect mixture of Bella’s word and Susan Stoker’s Seal Team, steamy moments, The McKinley Brothers and a well-deserved HEA for Draven and Indy.
Oh, and realization coming in the form of Fact #6: “I figured out that love isn’t always fireworks and drama. Sometimes it creeps in, makes itself at home, and stays in your heart.” p.s.: Bonus Fact #7: Some food recipes can be classified, ask Gunnar McKinley. Thank you Bella for trusting me with this ARC.
If you want to get your heart rate up with some intense, pulse pounding action and white hot sizzle, then Draven is a must read. Not only do you get meet the Nemesis Charlie team members, whose stories are yet to come but Susan Stoker's SEAL team led by Wolf Steel plays an important role. A feisty heroine and an über protective hero make this Draven fabulous storytelling!
India Fox and Draven Kilkenny have a history. They've known each other since childhood. But, she's been off limits, until now, for various reasons including the facts that she's his sisters best friend and business partner and she was too young for him to act on his attraction to her. Walking away was his only option. Now she needs him and all bets are off. Indy gets caught up in something big and dangerous when she becomes a target while handling her current CIA assignment. Reaching out to Draven is her first thought and only option. He doesn't even hesitate when summoned. Rescuing and protecting Indy is his only mission. Along the way the overwhelming attraction between these two is finally given into with electric results.
Draven is the third book in the Nemesis Inc. Bravo Team series with characters from Susan Stoker’s Seal of Protection series.
We jump into the action the evening ending in Kentucky’s story (book two of the Nemesis Inc. Bravo Team series) with a text message listing coordinates.
Indy has called, and Draven will answer that call in true operator fashion.
I have said it once, and I will say it again: Bella’s characters are a fictional family I never knew I needed, and I love how they all continue to show up in each story and just a little bit more to it.
The best line, hands down, in this story, was from Trev, “Have you not watched the Hallmark movies? Sister’s best friend is in trouble, and you run in to save the day. Do I say congratulations now, or should I wait until you figure it out?”
Both Draven and Indy are solid characters, and it shows throughout from their witty banter, their strong wills, and their protectiveness to how hot they are with one another.
I never want any of Bella’s stories to end. However, at least when they do, they all HEA’s.
Bonus: I cannot wait to read more of the McKinley brothers and the adventures that await the Four Xs.
I know I know I know I said I was no longer reading MF…but it’s Bella Stone and I’d read the back of a cereal box if she wrote it. So going forward only reading MF written by her 🤣
I fell in love with Draven, everyone wants a man who will drop everything and come running when you shoot them a text saying you need help, no questions asked. He may have broken her heart years ago, for good reasons I promise, but it’s clear he’s never fully let her go. He’s possessive and growly but sweet AF. -Bravo team favorite right here! And no one does possessive but sweet like Bella.
India is a spit fire that keeps Draven on his toes, knowing each other since childhood and being bestfriends with his younger sister gives her quite the advantage. Plus being a CIA agent she plays some cards he hasn’t seen yet, filling in that hole in his heart.
The banter, snark and sexual tension between these two 🔥🔥! This one’s fast paced and keeps you on your toes with a little spice in between! *I want to thank Bella for the opportunity to read and review this book, this is my honest opinion
The beginning was very thrilling. The h requests help from an old friend off the books. She’s in awful trouble and feels he’s the only one to find her. The H has a complicated history with the h and her father.
It took me awhile to like the h after she is found by the H. She doesn’t act grateful but has a major attitude problem for most of the first half of the story. Some parts of the story are far fetched but it is fiction and was entertaining.
Lovemaking is descriptive and happens a lot - heat level 4+ out of 5 outside of marriage. Interesting secondary characters too. Even though book 3 it is a standalone. This is my first of the series and I wasn’t lost.
The story of the h’s father needed to be more flushed out. I was confused who gave her the order to get the papers because we are told two different people.
No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA, some romance, and plenty of steam. I can’t improve on the blurb, just giving you extra tidbits to decide whether to purchase. (ljb)
Excellent and exciting plot, fair bit of action first half then it settles more into the romantic side of things. Friends to lovers, unrequited love, sisters best friend, slight age gap, military suspense, all these aspects are covered with characters from other books and author. Some parts are hair-raising and edge of seat while the romantic ones are sweet and loving. There is plenty of banter and teasing along the way and some heat. I sailed through reading this loving every moment and the characters, the plot was well thought out and developed, some violence but nothing to full on, plus a surprise that had me not sure if I should laugh or worry. Love this author and the books she writes also that characters from other books filter in and out which means get bits of those as well. Nothing not to love in this book I see another winner.
Draven Kilkenny is the epitome of a hardened warrior, bound by honor and driven by a deep-seated loyalty that had my heart racing. Indy, a fierce CIA operative, isn't just a damsel in distress—she's a formidable force in her own right, and her connection with Draven is electric, a tangible thing that pulled me in and wouldn't let go. Draven and Indy's relationship is a tempest, a wild thing that refuses to be tamed, and I was here for every heart-stopping moment. And the romance—oh, the romance, one that burns bright in the darkest of times makes for a tale that resonates long after the last page is turned. ! It's a tumultuous ride of heartbreak and hope, a testament to the enduring power of first loves and second chances.

The wedding reception was winding down when a drowsy Draven Kilkenny gets a text listing coordinates from childhood friend, his sister’s BFF and business partner, India Fox… he’s instantly alert and on his way. It’d been years since Draven joined the navy to distance himself from underaged India but they both knew if she ever called, he’d come running.
It’s easy enough for Draven to find Indy in Africa, but the question becomes can he get her back on US soil with the LSA on their heels, A stopover in Italy has the CIA chasing them, cornered Indy has to go against her orders to save her life. But the consolation prize is Draven with the same feelings for her that she has for his isn’t so bad. Rating: 4stars

Draven and India, wow. Jumped right in with both feet and was non-stop excitement and adventure from the get go! This little sister's best friend story is a little different. Our heroine is no wilting flower. Yes, she needs rescuing, but she is a kick-a$$ operative in her own right. With an assist from old friends like Wolf and Cookie, and new friends like the Four X's Group (cannot WAIT For their stories!!!!) this was a Hallmark movie with a special ops twist (IYKYK). Once again, Bella delivers for one of her "boys". 12/10 recommend!
Bella has done it once again.Sigh! Hat happens when you ask for help from your your best friend's brother you have a crush on? A HEA Nemesis style with some Susan Stoked SEALs thrown in. If you are a fan of Susan then you will LOVE this book. It has everything hot guys, childhood crush, sister's best friend, and danger lots of danger. Get ready for the rocky road to HEA and bring coffee, wine, and a change of knickers.
Draven has known Indie since she was little. She is his sister's best friend. She is all grown up now and when she gets in a pickle there is only one person she trusts to get her out. She texts Draven and he comes running to her aid. He fights his attraction but like the rest of the guys in this series that is a loosing battle. There is danger, suspense, and romance. Great addition to the series.

There is not much that Draven would drop everything for but when he gets a text message from Indy, his life will never be the same. Filled with edge of your seat action and connections that wil make the reader swoon this was a fabulous addition to the series. Nothing like watching an alpha male fall to his knees while falling in love with t he right woman.
This is another well written action packed story to add to the series, When Draven gets a message from Indy nothing will stop him helping her, this story will keep you on the edge of your seat from the start to the finish but they get their Hea after a few bumps along the road and with the help from teams Alpha and Bravo. Looking forward to reading Caleb’s story next.
Absolutely loved Draven and India’s story. I am a sucker for brother/sisters best friend stories, and this one didn’t disappoint. From the minute Draven got her text that she was in trouble I was on board with their story. I love India’s sass, it balances out Draven’s alpha attitude perfectly. Great read from beginning to their HEA
As much as I loved Indy and Draven my favorite part was a glimpse at Raptor aka Rourke Johnson aka….. I really hope we get to see more of him sooner than later. I thought it strange none of Draven’s teammates played a role in this book just the Charlie team. Also sad the McKinley books will be MF and not MM.
💕💖💕 Draven and Indy 💕💖💕 I love this series! I love this author! Draven is her best friends brother, and when she's in trouble she calls Draven! Excitement continues throughout the book. This book, author and series are a must read!.

I was so excited for book 3 in the series and to read Draven and India's story. It was such a good read! I will say I was slightly disappointed when I was expecting the book to finish, and it felt like it never did... it just sort of ended. This story feels very incomplete.
Interesting read. I didn’t feel like we got very deep into Draven’s character in previous books and we didn’t in this one either. But he was a good MC. I liked India’s character and she was fun to read, but again, not enough depth. I also wanted to get more into India’s father’s story arc, but that didn’t happen. I did enjoy the book, it just wasn’t my favorite.
A rescue, action, a strong, sassy, witty woman and a possessive, strong, former seal make for a great story. Add other characters like Susan Stoker's men, the Four X's and "Raptor" and you will be turning pages. Enjoy book 3 in Bella Stones Nemesis Inc. Bravo Team
India has gotten in a situation that she needs help getting out of the only person she can rely on is her best friends brother. This is a quick paced story and has you eagerly turning the pages.
Action packed from start to finish. Many twists and turns throughout the book. Loved the back and forth banter and teasing. The Hallmark name made me laugh. Enjoyed the read.
