Regény azoknak, akik motivációra és kalandra vágynak!. "A sorsunkat nem az határozza meg, mi történik velünk, hanem az, miként reagálunk ezekre a történésekre." - Nick Vuicic. MÓ, OLÍVIA, PETI és DÍNA általában jól elvannak együtt, de mostanában semmi sem a régi. Valami nem stimmel. Valami megváltozott. Mindenki megváltozott. Ez lenne a valóság? Vagy mindannyian a saját illúzióikban ragadtak? Le tudja valaki rántani a leplet a titokról? Vesd bele magad az osztálytársak lebilincselő történetébe, és jöjjön a nagy LELEPLEZÉS!
We've all been teenagers at some point and we know how hard those formative years are... Each of us had to face bullying, not liking our own bodies, setbacks in school, subjective love-deficit, perhaps even disfunctionial families or grief. This book is Christian-themed, and we meet 4 teenager friends, who are Hungarian children living in present-day Romania. This is a really interesting setting, but it does not define the book any more than this. We get to know Mó (Mózes), Peti, Olívia and Dína, who are everyday 13 year-olds with their unique and sometimes debilitating problems.
Growing up is tough, especially if you have subjective handicaps, which let's been honest, most of us will do. The 4 of them are all under the water with everything going on in their lives and that means they start to lose their best friends as well simply because they lock up in their own bubbles while trying to survive everything that life throws into their way. Each of them will then individually meet Jesus in their dreams, which changes their lives to the better. This is a real happy end, but the most important is that hopefully when your teenager child or relative reads through this, they will realize that they are not alone in the world with their problems, there are many others out there in the same shoes or even with more serious life situations.
Yes, this book gives a Christian answer, and Jesus in there tries really hard to connect with these teenagers and show them that they are worthy and loved. In the end, beauty can grow from pain. This is a cheap phrase, but we all know how true this can be. My kids read this, I recommend this reading for every 13 year-old, even if they are not brought up in a Christian-way. Encountering the life situations of these kids and thinking about it is useful for all. Maybe they will look at others a little differently afterwards, learn to appreciate what positive things they have in their lives already and help us all to reduce bullying and pain in the world, especially in schools and among youngsters where it's the most cruel usually. The book is also a quick read so there's really no reason not to do it!
Ehhez a könyvhöz csak annyit tudok írni, hogy olyan dolgok vannak benne, amik a gondolkodás, a hozzáállás és a bizalom szempontjából megváltoztatják az ember életét. <3 :)
