Devil's Darling: A Se7en Sinners Novella

Rate this book
"In many ways, I had no other choice but to fall for Eden. She isn’t just Legion’s weakness. She is mine. She is the embodiment of my black, bleeding heart, walking this Earth, beating for someone else."

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, S.L. Jennings, comes a special Se7en Sinners holiday novella...
If you’re reading this, you know that I’m not dead.

Shocker.

No need to play surprised. You should know you can’t kill the unkillable.

But as undead as I may be, there’s a part of me that didn’t survive past the gates of that cemetery in New Orleans. The part of me that hasn’t been whole since I kissed her goodbye, her memories a bittersweet stain on my lips.

I thought I could forget her. I thought I could walk away and play the selfless, valiant role for the first time in my God-damned existence. But no matter how much I try to drink or screw her away, I can’t let her go.

Eden.

I’ve been searching for a distraction. Something to help me forget her taste, her scent, her breathy moans that were a heated caress against my bitter cold soul.

And maybe I’ve finally found it.

Or maybe I’m just f*cked up enough to pretend that I could ever leave her alone.

Waiting

This is a great little story. I've been waiting so long (it feels like)...I enjoyed all of the books in this series but I really always wanted Eden to pick Luc. I really hope this means there will be more books!!!! I would be so happy for that to happen!

I have missed the se7en sinners world and Lucie. The ending left me craving for more and I cannot wait to see where the author takes our favorite dark angel!! (Hopefully on his way back to Eden!!)

Fantastic little novella. ❤

OMFG!!! This book has amped up my Love for Luc, I've missed him. I'm not gonna lie he actually broke my heart in the Se7en Sinners Series. Who'd of thought the Devil could've reduced me to tears.

Anyway this little novella gives us a glimpse at what he's been up to sine then.
Luc has actually been laying low trying to stay off the radar. All the while trying to move on from the love of his life.

But saving a young damsel in distress gives Luc a chance to let his wicked side loose and gives him a reminder of who and what he is and reminds us just why we love him.

This Novella packs a lot in, it was exciting, fun and hott mixed in with a side of depravity expected from The Devil.

Luc is back and I'm excited, terrified and anxious for what's to come.
The Se7en Sinners Series is Phenomenal and a must read for PnR lovers.

I've missed this world so much and I can't wait to see what happens next.

I have missed S.L. Jennings and this Se7en Sinners World. This short story takes me back to the wild and wickedly echanting world that held me captive for so many hours. Mikey and Lucie are lethaly addictive and fun. I love that they still protect the innocent and reserve that special spot for those who endanger those who cannot protect themselves.

I read this a little while ago and it gave me a lick of the good old times when I read through incomplete Se7en sinners series. It was a great short read but reminded me of what I’m still missing in my soul.
