The pacing was good, it got to the point without any hang ups, and of course, the sex described is hot as it should be. If you like to read something short to get your jollies than this’s for you. Get ready to get hot and heavy.

Collection of Emotions.
What I liked about Saffron Sands is her blend of emotions with Intimate scenes she creates. But there could be better ways she would have done it with the given stories.

Decent collection
This is a decent collection of short stories with erotic themes. Mostly just little short reads with a sex scene. Great when you are pressed for time but want to get to the good stuff. The last story was a little sad I thought.

This is how you learn to write love scenes
If you are an author and you are feeling apprehensive about writing the spicy bits. Think of every character scenerio, one night stand, husband and wife, taboo, first time, and then go for it. Make the characters sketches and just write the love scenes. Authors focus on finishing books but forget about writing exercises. I look forward to reading more from Ms Sands because she understood the assignment. If she can write a compelling scene then I feel she has one of the fundamentals of writing--plot and complete characters are my other two and you cement the whole thing in place with pacing. Are the love scenes earth shattering or revolutionary? No. But I'm just celebrating the fact they aren't horrible.

Short and spicy.
The stories were relatable and very well written. It got straight to the point, no unnecessary stuff which made me love them even more. My favorite was "Under The Willow Tree"... that was was short and very emotional.

I read this book as research as a writer and unfortunately was not very impressed. The stories are very short, very porn-like with no build-up to the action.

Good collection of erotica aimed towards women
For this reader three of the stories were truly amazing, with engaging characters and creative plotlines. Two of the stories were rather average being quite predictable from their first paragraphs. The rest exceeded my expectations, giving the collection a solid four stars.
Pacing was tight, as desired in short stories, there were no forced nonconsensual scenes, and some considerate gentle guidance was portrayed very effectively.
