This book was unnecessarily repetitive, from the topics explored to the examples provided - everything was the same in every single chapter, which made the book unbelievably boring. Dr. Munroe lost me when he claims that purpose not used is abandoned and then referenced a time when he washed a car with a "bath" towel and his daughter came to him and said that he was using the towel incorrectly. Munroe claims that by using the towel to wash the car and, not his body, he was not using the towel for its intended purpose. What? Towels are used to wash and dry things - whether you use it on your body or car is irrelevant. Additionally, Munroe drove the comparison between manufacturers and God so far deep into the ground. It was ridiculous. Then he refers to William Shakespeare and writes "an English playwright," as if we don't know who Shakespeare is. Anyway, in the preface, foreword, introduction, and first chapter there is some useful information. Munroe should have titled this book, "What is Purpose?" and not "Unleash Your Purpose" because Munroe did not explain how one should unleash his/her purpose, but he gave pages and pages (252 pages to be exact) of definitions of purpose, as well as the definition of several other words (go figure). The book failed to provide a guide on how to identify one's purpose and gain the confidence necessary to go forth and act on that newfound purpose. I don't recommend this book at all because I do not think it serves its intended purpose.

This book touched my heart. It challenges everything we are conditioned to think is important and uses facts based off of Bible scriptures and concepts to prove the points. I will definitely suggest this book to my business partners. 💯
