It’s the 29th century. The survivors of Earths zombie apocalypse have been travelling through space for 800 years. A desperate attempt to find a new planet to inhabit. But half the armada lost their nerve 400 years ago and turned around. Now they are only a year away from arriving back home.
Protecting them on this perilous journey is the Paladins. An elite warrior trained for one reason, to stand between the living and the undead.
The original escape from earth was not a clean break. And for 800 years the paladins have seen to the protection of the living by their tireless efforts to eradicate the infected. But by a cruel twist of mother nature the infected are reluctantly needed for mankind to survive in space. Hunt, a giant paladin, fights for balance when all else is weighted against him.
The zombies did not disappoint. The story itself was fantastic and felt refreshingly original, which is rare in the genre. The characters were well written, distinct from one another, and genuinely engaging. Each one brought something unique to the story. This was a thrilling, imaginative read that kept me hooked from start to finish. Highly recommended!
Beautifully written. Descriptive in a way to draw you in to the story and make you want to read more and more. Loved the characters and thought they developed well throughout. Dark and brutal but with enough hope that I couldn't put it down.
