I wish I could get my money back on this one. Just not for me. Gave up a third way in as I found the story to be not only unrealistic, I felt the love story was moving unbelievably fast, and thought both protagonists were immature.

***THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS***

I read Ms. Elwood's first book, and the spelling, grammar and punctuation mistakes made it difficult to get through. Fortunately, this book seems to have had a better editor because for the most part, those basic issues have been resolved. Unfortunately, what's left is just the story, and it's a pretty predictably bad one at that.

The first thing I noticed is that this plot is very similar to the plot in the author's first book:

Both of the main characters have sworn off dating and have decided instead to concentrate on their careers/education - check
A chance meeting between main characters seems to immediately change their minds about that - check
The main characters' best friends also fall in love/hook up - check
The main male character's mother is a loser/alcoholic/floozy/uninvolved - check
The main characters' homes/apartments are broken into/vandalized/torched/blown up - check
A psycho ex stalks the main characters and threatens their relationship/future happiness - check
Surprise! She's pregnant! - check

Note: This author is collaborating with another indie author on a series of "Dating Hell" books. Tell me, does this plot look familiar to you? http://authordaniellebrandy.wordpress...

As far as the actual writing, it's almost as if the author used some sort of random thesaurus generator for this book. Why else would the sentence "Luckily for her, he had put on his underwear," become "Luckily for her, he had reapplied his underwear."? Huh? You can reapply lipstick or mascara; you can reapply to med school or reapply for food stamps, but I don't think it's possible to reapply underwear.

Another example: The main female character does a lot of examining in the first two paragraphs of the first chapter: "She examined the time..." and "She examined her plethora of work-appropriate attire" and finally "She examined her chin length blonde hair." And the word "plethora" is used a lot in this book, except when the phrase "ass ton" is used in its place. Because, you know, both expressions are totally interchangeable.

More examples:

"He hyperbolically turned his fingers over in the air..." (He what?)

"The dimples at either corner of it only exacerbated his admiration." (Really?)

"He tried unsuccessfully to canvas his erection." (If this involved a stretcher tool and a wooden frame, it was probably pretty painful. But "canvas" is not a verb, so she may have meant "conceal." At least I hope so.)

"When the men began disemboweling the trays of food..." (I hope she meant "devour" because "disemboweling" shouldn't appear on the same page where people are being described as eating something, unless, of course, those people are actually zombies.)

"She finished up her morning ablutions quickly." (Can I get an Amen?)

"He kicked delectable bites of chicken pot pie around his plate..." (Must have been a pretty big plate. And they were only delectable BEFORE he kicked them.)

"It had been inexorably hot." (Just how hot is that?)

"Waiting to see what would conspire between Jared and the police." (I think she meant "transpire" because otherwise she's suggesting police corruption or some other illegal activity.)

"She whaled like a baby." (Apparently the baby in question belongs to Mike Tyson.)

Most of the time, the dialogue between characters is crass and immature. Do adults really talk to each other this way? Examples: "I so need to wash your crotch crust off my hands," and "Tell me how you feel about my vag," and "So basically, you like meat in your mouth?" and "You hoe-bag!" (sic). And how's this for a scene-setting visual: "Tom humped the air..."

I appreciate Ms. Elwood's passion for writing, but she's cranking this content out too quickly. I truly think she could benefit from some writing classes or workshops that are probably offered at her local community college. Assuming she's in her early to mid 20s, I just don't think she has the life experience to be writing books of this nature. If she would tone down the crude language and remove the sex scenes (which are so embarrassingly bad and cringe-inducing, I could not bring myself to discuss them in this review), she might be able to be more successful writing for the young adult audience.

**EDITED TO ADD: Just to prove that I hope that Ms. Elwood would seriously consider enrolling in a writing course or workshop at her local community college, I am willing to pay for it. I know she's a young mother and is probably struggling to make ends meet and I get that, because I have been there. All she needs to do is pick the course and let me know where to send the payment. I really think if she's serious about becoming a better writer, she would benefit from objective criticism and help from professionals outside the indie author circle, because those authors and that community are clearly not doing her any favors.

A firefighter's wife should know this... Avery moving Emily out of the car after having to be cut out of the car and just picking her up is a big no no! Where's the back board and neck brace that should be in place before even thinking about moving a accident victim?
No different than TMO... a streaming file of crap!

About all I can say is this was marginally better than the author's first book. I was hopeful after reading so many glowing reviews of it, but don't waste your money. It's just not worth it at all. There were still numerous spelling and grammar errors in this one. However, it seems the author must have gotten herself an SAT prep vocab book or something because she threw in some big vocab words, but sadly used them incorrectly. The romance scenes were childish and mechanical. There was a point where Emily had just had sex with Avery and went to freshen herself up and came back to bed relieved that he had "reapplied" his underwear. First of all, did he paint his underwear on that morning? Second of all how immature that she could sleep with him, but not want to actually see him naked. It seems that Ms. Elwood is trying too hard to impress people with stuff, but doesn't have enough knowledge to know what she's talking about. It's clear she knows nothing about medical conditions like amnesia or how firefighters take care of people they are rescuing. It was far too unbelievable. It had the same problem as her first attempt at writing a book with the glossing over things. For example, after meeting Avery, he comes to visit her in the hospital and despite not being told by anyone (at least not that we see) he seemed to know she was having some trouble with her memory. There's just far too many things like this. The book needed another year or two with several rewrites to make it even remotely plausible. I'm sorry Ms. Elwood, but I think your time might be better served finding something else to do; writing doesn't seem to be your thing. And that's fine, not everyone can write. Sometimes we just need to know when to fold 'em.

While I do agree that this is better than the first book Ms. Elwood put out, it's still a HUGE disappointment.
Some of the word she used just don't make any sense whatsoever. I mean, who reapplies their underwear? Why would you use that word? It just seems like Ms. Elwood was trying a little bit too hard to make herself seem more knowledgeable than she obviously is.

And why would you be glad that someone you just had sex with "reapplied" (sorry but I seriously LOL when I see that) their underwear? It's just little things that seem immature, not realistic at all. And considering Ms. Elwood is married to a firefighter, she could of asked her husband what the protocol is regarding moving a victim of an automobile accident. Once again it seems like she didn't do much research at all.

Perhaps Ms. Elwood should focus on QUALITY, instead of QUANTITY.

I read to 10% and DNF.

The dialogue was awful. Emily is the heroine. Her parents died in a car accident on the day of their funeral, her boyfriend, Jared, breaks up with her. Some two years later, she is on her way to work and has a car accident. She's attracted to the firefighter, Avery, who extracts her from her car. A week later, she's still in the hospital with selective amnesia. Avery comes to visit and she can remember him, so she "hits on him" by asking him to come back and visit after his work hours. He volunteers to bring her dinner and she asks for Steak 'n' Shake. Then we get to see Avery run in to a nurse he dated and decided he didn't have an interest in. When she approaches him, instead of telling her he's not interested, he lies about multiple things and says he'll call her. Nice. After that, we find out Emily can remember her sister, her brother-in-law and her best friend. But, when Jared, who, in addition to being the ex-boyfriend who dumped her on the day of her parent's funeral, was apparently the doctor who treated her when she was first brought to the hospital after her accident, shows up in her room, she can't remember him. And he starts saying things like "Emily, my Emily. Please come back to me. We spent amazing years together." Yuck. She tells him to leave and next thing you know, Avery's there with their delicious dinner and some huge bucket of flowers.

Didn't need the Duck Dynasty reference or the drama. Too much for me. I'm done. I'd return it, but it was free.

I was excited to pick this up for free because it was on my TBR list but sadly this is a DNF for me. Unfortunately, I just don't like the authors writing style. The story overall just seemed very immature and I stopped at about 45% in. Moving on to something else.

******SPOILER ALERT********
I was a beta reader for Danielle and was asked to write an honest review.

What should I say first? Crashed is about Emily and Avery. Emily was on her way to work when she was in a car accident. Avery a fireman was 1 of many who helped rescue her from her car. He literally cut her from her seat. The minute Emily opened up her eyes I would say Avery was hooked.
Emily was taken to the hospital where she was told she had some memory loss. Which in a way was great but then again it wasn't. There were certain moments in her life she experienced again that I wouldn't personally want to.
Avery and the Chief had visited Emily in the hospital to make sure she was OK. While there Avery ran into I guess you would call Quinn a bootie call. Avery wasn't that much into her but they did hook up once in a while. But Quinn wasn't taking the hint that Avery had broken things up. It put him in an awkward position at the hospital after seeing Emily. This part is so cute though and it shows how much Avery is into Emily. They kind of sort of had a 1st date there in the hospital. I mean who does that? I know if some hot ass fireman rescued me and wanted to bring me food while I was in the hospital I wouldn't turn him down. While there in the hospital Emily ran into a Dr. Hart. He gave her the creeps and she couldn't figure out why. Dr. Hart was disapointed in that.
Emily was able to go home. But she couldn't really go back to work. Her memory was still returning to her in bits an pieces. She did know that she wanted to date Avery. Right as things with Emily and Avery were getting heated something major would happen. Avery's mother was sick, there was a break in at Emily's. Plus they found out that Emily is pregnant. I mean a person can only take so much before they think about running right? Well Emily didn't run and Avery didn't run. Matter of fact it brought them closer together.
I say this is suspense because I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going to happen next and who did what. Does Quinn play a role in anything that happened with Emily? Does Dr. Hart aka Jared play a role? where does her sister and brother in law fit into all? Oh and her best friend Becca what can I say about her? she is a fire cracker as well. When the pieces started to come together I was like OMG no way! The ending is fantastic. I know you all like it like I did and your jaw will drop when you see who did what and how things turn out. Thank you Danielle for letting me be a beta reader it was fun. I look forward to your next book.

Crashed by Dawn Robertson is a fun, beach read – especially since it takes place in Daytona Beach! ;)

Emily and Avery meet by chance. Avery is a very handsome firefighter for the Daytona Beach Fire Department. Let me say that again. Smoking.Hot.Firefighter. Are you with me now? Yep. Thought so. Add to that, he’s a country boy from Georgia with a Southern drawl and OMG, not sure if I can stand much more!

I grew up around firefighters as my dad was a Lieutenant with Orange County Fire and Rescue. Since I’ve always been around them, firefighters are close to my heart. That is what initially drew me into the book. I read it in one sitting, mainly because I couldn’t put it down.

Emily and Avery’s story was emotional and I couldn’t walk away from it. I read it from start to finish without putting it down. Dawn Robertson takes you on a journey of tragedy, love, romance and fate. I love the way she draws the reader inside her characters and you feel like you are a part of the story, just watching it unfold.

I love how strong Emily’s character was, and how she followed her instincts when it came to Avery. They went through a lot as a couple, in just a short amount of time. Death of a parent, stalking/break ins and other life changing things that I’m not going to discuss (no spoilers here). I’m very happy to say that this is a complete book with no cliffhangers. I know some readers aren’t into cliffhangers, so here’s a complete book with a happily ever after.

Just so you know, Avery is officially my book boyfriend. Strong, caring, hot, sexy (same as hot?), FIREFIGHTER. Yum.

Crashed is a wonderful love story between a beautiful head strong woman and a gorgeous southern hero.
You just can’t get any better then Avery Martin. With his sweet southern charm, big heart, flowers and midnight walks on the beach Avery will sweep you right off your feet.

Oh and can I just say "Firefighter in the house, whoop whoop!!!"

Every girl is waiting for her knight and shining armor to rescue her and that is just what Emily Taylor got, except her hero road in on a big red fire truck and scooped her up in his huge muscular arms to carry her away from a horrible car accident. *Swoon* But wait it only gets better.

“Emily laid there half dazed watching this stunningly gorgeous man take care of her. If she had known the firemen in Daytona Beach were this sexy, she would have lit her house on fire long ago”

Emily and Avery’s romance began sweet and slow but soon revved up to red hot.

The late night walks on the beach and cuddling up in bed just to watch a movie is enough to curl my toes, but making love under the stars and hot passionate kiss in the rain did me in. Avery is a romantic master.

Even Emily had a few romantic surprises for Avery.

“It wasn't until he had it in his hands that he
became aware of what it was. Emily had put a hot ass thong in the bottom of his lunch bag. Oh. My.God. This girl is going to be the end of me”

Girlfriend just gave me a great idea and I am sure my husband will thank you.

The comical banter between the characters and Avery’s continues romantic acts are what really made this an enjoyable read for me. Elwood not only delivered on the romance but also the suspense and mystery. The shady brother-in-law and crazy ex-boyfriend Dr. Jared Hart kept me on the edge of my seat just wait to see how they fit into this beautiful romance. Hang in there to the end because WOW what an ending. Elwood tied up everything very nicely and I got the best romantic ending I could have ever hoped for. Now I can’t wait for the next book in what is sure to be an awesome series.

Ugh! That's all I can say about this one. Not only is the writing style incredibly pedestrian but the plot points were predictable, basic, and unoriginal. I struggled to get through this entire story. Insta-love is never my favorite trope, but combine it with plot points that feel crammed in to make the story longer and offer some sort of fake tension and I'm groaning through the whole book.

You want a book where the man is wonderful, has southern charm, makes his lady romantic music playlists, swoon worthy and more.... GO get this book! :)

We meet Emily who is running late for work and then ends up in an accident. She needs help getting out of her car due to being unconscious and Avery (the fireman) gets her out of her car and she is attracted to his wonderful green eyes and then the rest is history... or is it?

Avery is the fireman who rescues Emily from her car. He is attracted to her and feels she is not like any other woman he has ever met. He wants to go on a date with her, gets his chance and more.... but can he keep her?

These two are just incredible. I enjoyed their conversations, interactions with their friends, the respect, kindness, concern, possessiveness, protection and more that comes with them.

I esp loved the "Lunch" Emily makes... won't tell you but you will have to see what is in that um.. LUNCH. ;)

So, if you want a romance book filled with a swoon worthy man (closet romantic), friendship, trust, love, deception, mystery/twist this is DEFINITELY the book for you! You won't be disappointed you bought it.

3 Stars for this sweet and solid romance. It was a whole lot better than I expected.

Emily lost her parents in a car accident (why the parents have to die in a car accident all the time I don't really know) 2 yrs ago and then her boyfriend dumped her. Nice right?

So as Murphys Law wants it what happens yep she has an accident. Avery Martins is the hot fireman on duty who cuts her out of the car.

Avery pays Emily a visit with the Captain about a week later and they get to talking they have their first date in the hospital. She also meets her douchebag boyfriend Jared but has amnesia and can't remember him. But he's creepy keeps on turning up everywhere. A lot was predictable a lot wasn't. I felt bad for Emilys sister Ameila. But I loved Gran a kick ass heroine at the age of 72 yrs old with a shotgun. Such a Southern Belle. :-)

This was the first time I've read anything by Dawn Robertson. I absolutely loved 'Crashed'. The characters and storyline grabbed me from the beginning and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. After reading this book I want my own hot fireman! :)I'll definitely read more from Dawn. I highly recommend 'Crashed'.

I was really excited to read Crashed. I mean, who doesn’t love to read about a hot fireman. However, while the story was okay, it fell a little flat for me. The story line held a lot of promise, I just felt like the author didn’t quite deliver.

Emily and Avery meet when he responds to a car accident that she is involved in. Emily freaks out and asked him to go to the hospital with her. He complies and their relationship goes from there. The banter between the two throughout the book seems immature and sometimes too sweet. The way they talk to each other is not how normal adults speak. They sounded like young, high school teenagers. I often found myself skimming through some of the conversations.

I did like the progression of Avery and Emily’s relationship. Even though it is fast (which, let’s face it, happens in books) it seems natural and solid. They get to know each other and do not rush into sex. However, when they finally do make it to that point, it gets pretty hot.

Another issue I have with this book is that Emily is supposed to have amnesia from the accident. According to the synopsis, I thought this was going to be a major issue that she has to work through. However, to me, it really wasn’t. One thing that she forgot was quickly remedied when her sister filled in the blanks for her. The other thing she forgot also could have been remedied had she just asked her sister or friend. I mean, she had pictures documenting things on her Facebook and in her house, so it really wasn’t much of a mystery. Maybe I was just expecting the amnesia to be more of an issue, but to me, it was just a little blip in the story.

The author does throw a loop in the story, that I didn’t see coming. It helped to give the story a little more excitement and kept me interested enough. I honestly did not see what happened in the end coming, but it fits with the story pretty well, so the author did a good job at tying up the loose ends.

I don’t think that Crashed is a bad story and I’m sure there are others who will really enjoy it. I just feel that with the story line, this book could have been so much more. It was a pretty quick read, so if you aren’t looking for something heavy and something a little fun, give it a try.

Hot and sweet with a dash of danger...

Crashed is a hot, sweet romance with a little mystery and danger to spice up the story. The story begins with a bad car wreck and Emily Taylor being cut out of her demolished VW Beatle by hunky Daytona Beach firefighter and paramedic Avery Martin. Delightful romance ensues.

A sweet old-fashioned hero...

When Avery gets word that his mother is seriously ill, Emily travels with him to his home place in Georgia. There she meets his feisty Gran, who she immediately connects with. When Gran needs a place to stay, there is no question but that she would return to Daytona with Emily and Avery.

A resilient heroine...

When things get serious between Emily and Avery, someone fixated on Emily begins stalking her. Emily and Avery don't know who the stalker is, and the danger escalates. When danger comes calling, will this fledgeling almost-a-family survive?

A happily ever after that will satisfy and warm your heart!

I hope there will be some follow up books, because I would love to read more about the romance between Emily's best friend Becca and Avery's friend, Tom. The potential romance between Capt. Sullivan and Emily's sister Amelia would also be a great story. I will be looking for those. I recommend Crashed to those looking for a light, hot, and sweet romance with a satisfying HEA.

I wanted to like this book, I really did. I saw hot firefighter and thought this is a must read! Unfortunately it just wasn't a good read for me. I have never had a DNF and this book almost became my first. There is a typo in the first sentence of the book and I knew right then and there that this was probably going to go downhill fast.
The book had decent bones but the story line just didn't develop well. It was all over the place, the timelines didn't match up in places and there were many contradictory statements. I think what really killed it for me was that it seemed that the author got lost and instead of looking back to see what she said in a previous chapter she just guessed (incorrectly) as to specific facts and moved forward. The points of view switched between characters with no warning. One paragraph was Emily and then the next paragraph was Avery. It was just like whiplash. There were no contractions anywhere in this book either. Everything was 'I am' 'He is' 'We are' which works for some but when the main character is so laid back and cusses up a storm the lack of contractions took away from the story. I'm giving it a 2 star review because the author put some thought into it. It definitely could use a proofreader and an editing team which might actually make this a tolerable read. I also noticed it is published under two different names. One under Dawn Robertson and one under Danielle Elwood not sure why that would be other than maybe the other version has some editing perhaps?

Emily Taylor is a twenty six year old event planner. Two years ago she lost her parents to a drunk driver and her boyfriend of two years for reasons unknown. On her way to work she is involved in an automobile accident. When she comes too she is in the arms of a “stunningly gorgeous” firefighter.

Avery Martin is a paramedic with Station #1. He moved to Daytona from Georgia when he was twenty. He’s dated a bit but he hasn’t met anyone he wanted to spend time with in quite a while. It’s against policy to become involved with patients, but when he rescues Emily from her wrecked car he may have to bend the rules.

First I have to say that I LOVE author Dawn Robertson! She is on my top 5 favorite new authors list for 2013. Typically Dawn writes erotica, but Crashed is contemporary romance story and is much tamer than her other works. The main characters have been threw their share of heartaches and “crap-tatic dating experiences”. When they meet, BAM its love at first sight! They’re relationship involves some distress to be worked through but they are hoping for a happily ever after. Will they be lucky enough to get it? I liked this book, I liked the characters. They are warm and funny, Avery is a hot firefighter so what’s not to like. It is a sweet love story and it was a good read. I give this book 4 stars!

I had the chance to read the unedited version of Crashed.

And let me tell you in one simple word how I feel about it; Amazing.

This book has everything I love in a book: sexual tension, unforgettable characters, solid storyline, suspense, and a twist I never saw coming. I enjoyed the book from start to finish, reading it in one sitting. While I love Avery and Emily, the two main characters in the book, I absolutely adore Granny. Avery's southern grandma from Georgia. She brings absolute humor to this book and definitely isn't a woman to be trifled with. We first meet the characters when Avery pulls Emily from a car accident that should have left her for dead, but instead she suffers from acute amnesia. Slowly, Emily begins piecing together the things she has forgotten and it leads her on a whirlwind of emotions and the discovery of the worst thing imaginable. (I literally gasped in horror when I learned the truth). This book has equal parts of humor, romance, sex, and suspense. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone who loves a good story! I cannot wait for Danielle's next book that picks up a few months from where Crashed leaves off, I already know it's going to be excellent. Hats off to you, Ms. Elwood, for delivering us yet another wonderful story.

Crashed

Fun and fast read!

Emily had been in a relationship with a man named Jared. Tragic events happened and the relationship ended.
It was a very wtf.. Moment!
Things in life happen for a reason I believe and once again Emily is on the receiving end of bad. (Maybe it wasn't!)
She was running and struck by a vehicle. This is where she meets Avery. He is the firefighter who was called to the scene and saved her life.

They have an instant connection and then it blooms into love. Jared finds out and is not happy with this. What will he do when he cannot get Emily back? You will have to read and see.
This relationship burns quickly, fast and at times it was a bit too fast for
me. However I was swept up in the chemistry of Avery and Emily.
Let us just say this.. What happened to .. I left you with no explanation Jared. Well he comes back..
This story has a few twist and turns.
We have a case of Amnesia and finally get to the missing pieces.
You need to read it to see! Plus add one for the best book BFF's ever.. Becca was a hoot and she and I could hang!
If you want a fun, sexy (come on we have firefighters) read this is for you.
I enjoyed the story. It kept me interested and engaged. Don't miss out on this one.
3.5 five stars...

Oh wow, I was given an copy of this book by another author for an honest review. This was so good. The book starts with Emily's parents dying in a car crash and her boyfriend of 2 years dumps her in the same week. What a jerk!! Then 2 yrs later, she is on her way to work, has an accident and gets rescued by Avery, a hot fireman. Emily and Avery click almost immediately. Her accident results in a slight case of amnesia, there are some things she remembers and some she doesn't. Avery's patience with Emily and the love that comes for both of them was just awesome. I loved this story, but don't think it is smooth sailing. As her memory returns and certain characters come into play, there is a little suspense and some action, along with some hot sex scenes. I just loved the way the story played out and the epilogue was fantastic. This was my first book by Dawn Robertson and I will most definitely be looking up the rest of her books. Very much recommend!! Oh, and wait until you read the scene Avery and his firemen buddies do like Magic Mike, lol, so frickin hilarious and in front of his grandma at that!!!

Ms.Dawn I have loved you since I read Hers! This is another greatness of that beautiful mind of yours! You have Emily Taylor.. living her life after her parents were killed in a drunk driving accident and her boyfriend walking away from her at the same time with no reason. Then you have Hot firefighter Avery Martin. OOHH boy! He moved to Daytona Beach from Georgia after a family tradgey. When Emily gets in to a bad car accident Avery's fire squad is there to help her . Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

Crashed I liked IMMENSLY. The first chapter caught my attention immediately with Emily Taylor dreaming of a man making love to her. It just captures right away how lonely she is and how she is still holding on to hope for her dream man.

After crashing her car, sexy fireman Avery Martin comes to the rescue and soon he finds himself drawn to Emily. Feelings continue to grow between them as they spend more time with each other. I do feel that these two fell in love with each other from the start. Which is romantic as hell for me.

This book is a steady, slow build from friendship to love. Avery is attentive and sexy, and caring while Emily is hope full, sweet, pretty, and yet a tad on the wary side.

Crashed was a well written book with likeable characters and a charming storyline. Its realistic and sexy, and totally enjoyable. Giving this book a full FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS was no hardship and I did it happily. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that has a mind to listen and enjoys steamy, contemporary romance featuring a sexy fireman.

What a neat quick read this is but still jam packed full of rollacoster moments that keeps you gripped till the end.

Emily was involved in a collision that ended up in her being rescued by a smoking hot fireman she cannot keep her eyes off him instantly.

Avery was the Firefighter first on the scene, rescuing damsels in distress was nothing new for him, but as soon as he caught sight of Emily he was captivated by her blue eye's they spoke to him, seeking him out.

They both have had bad experiences throughout their life’s, but they both are willing to let go and move on. Which they both require.

Emily and Avery best friends are so funny, they kept me laughing every time I read about them. Their part in the book was essential. They bring the fun into the book. I would love to see more of them in the future.

Not to forget about Avery's gran she is fab tough old bird.

Dawn has written the characters really well, she manages to bring them to life really well. They all complement each other nicely.

I loved the story I found it charming.

I was loaned this book by a friend who told me I need to read it! One look at the cover told me ok sure because well it has a hot fireman on it and I have a thing for that since I am one and so his my husband, anyway moving on. I started reading this and could not put it down!!! It's not only funny but a great love story. I loved the characters and the way they come together. Emily was a great character with some spunk but also that sweet soft side, Avery is the tough firefighter with a soft side for his mama and grandma now who doesn't love that also he is the true southern gentleman who in on part of the book while speaking g of his grandma says "That sweet little lady on the porch would kill me if I didn't open that truck door for you" awesome!!!! Mainly because if you know anything about the south you know for sure he is absolutely right!!! I really could go on all day about this book but I really think you should read it yourself so you can experience the awesomeness that is crashed and Dawn Robertson!!!!

I can not stand to not finish a book, but I had to really struggle to finish this. I pretty much skimmed the last 40%. I think it could of had potential, but the point of view was constantly changing, and it didn't tell you when jt would change, or whose frame of mind you would be in.

I didn't get the characters, they had a faced paced relationship and it just wasn't very real. I am glad I scored this for free, instead of paying for it. I see that it had some good reviews, and I'm glad, maybe this just wasn't meant to be for me. Im glad it's over, but I'm slightly upset because I was looking forward to this, and I'm just extremely let down. Maybe the next few books of hers are better.

I come from a firefighter family, and I've never heard one call another "firefighter (last name)" or no fireman I've ever been around gets in the ambulance when he's on truck. I just didn't get it. Sorry. :/

One accident, two hearts, and a life time of happiness.
Emily and Avery met on the unfortunate day, and a bond, a connection was formed.
There was one person unhappy about this connection between them, and he was making himself known, someone from Emily's past, but with her amnesia from the accident, she could not remember him, and any time he was around, or when he spoke to her, he scared her, she just couldn't understand why.
As the time passes, Emily and Avery get closer, connections bind, passions flare....other situations surrounding Emily get intense and threaten her life, her well being, and Avery will do anything to protect her.
This whole book kept me on my toes. From sweet and innocent, to hot and steamy, to intense and mysterious. If you can't take my word for it, you must read it for yourself.
Danielle did a great job with this book and I look forward to more :)

Totally loved Crash. It was sweet and charming and suspenseful. Crash is about Emily who after loosing her parents, boyfriend, and love struggles to keep it together. When and accident and a hot fireman come into her life things change. Bouts of memory loss and a Fireman Martin who takes an interest in Emily after a few dates their attraction towards each other is hard to miss. Though there is a deep dark secret and some dangers that come from her past and are now threatening to ruin her future. With the love of Avery and his protection together they fight to keep the dangers at bay. An ex-boyfriend though has decided it's time to tell the truth and the truth as they say will set you free or in this case destroy Emily. Loved this book and you will too.
